Great Turkish food and service, excellent menu, the restaurant is spacious, well furnished and decorated. Highly recommended, we will definitely be going again.

A great lunch out with my husband, he had the steak and ale pie and I had the chicken and ham, lovely pastry, excellent service and friendly staff, the nicest place we have been in a long time for food

The pub was not very busy and the staff were very nice but the food was horrible!!! Everything was over cooked the mashed was microwaved and the stuffing was pack mix and raw onion. The meat was so overcooked it was not cut able the pork was like string, it was so bad I couldn’t eat it. We just paid and left.

We were staying in the village at an Air BNB we booked to go to the pub for our evening meal. Good friendly hospitality with good menu and reasonable priced food and wine . Service was good we enjoyed our food and we enjoyed the pub all locals having a good time .

We took a bit of a detour from our journey South to visit The Hidden Tearoom, and what a great choice it was! So many delicious homemade goodies and a very warm welcome from Edi. The Scone-wiches (cheese scone with bacon, onion marmalade, cream cheese and salad) were fabulous and there were too many lovely cakes and puddings to choose from. Highly recommended.

I have had one or two things from here for lunch, but just recently, the times ive gone it has been closed. Ive also noticed they have dogs in, which is great but im not sure a dog should be sat on the seat at the table. I did go in one day for an apple juice, which was priced at £2.50 and the juice came out of an Aldi juice carton that i noted were 80p at the time. i know you have to make a profits, but really?!

A regular stop off whenever we’re in Selby. The food is fantastic whether it’s a quick snack, full on Sunday lunch or special occasion. Mat, Gemma, Di, Chaba & all the staff are polite, respectful and… efficient. An enjoyable experience. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Good selection of beers, and lager, at realistic prices. Friendly, attentive staff. Didn't have to wait long to be served. Recommend a visit. Free parking available if you take your ticket into the pub, redeemable against drinks.

Just eaten Sunday lunch here. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. After a very nice starter each the mains came. Beef for me and Pork for my girlfriend. I asked for rare beef and it was cooked perfect. Goose fat roast potatoes were incredible. The pork was amazing and the veg were cooked to perfection. The yorkies were excellent too. To finish I had the cheesecake, I have never eaten anything so delicious in my life. After eating at many restaurants in the area on a Sunday this was the best. 2 drinks each, and 2 cappuccinos to finish off a wonderful lunch. I even got change from a ton. Excellent value… very very highly recommended 👍

Ordered cod wait time was ok but the meal was greasy swimming in grease if im honest some of the chip were raw disappointed. Never add a problem when we've sat in and ate but the takeaway was rubbish too busy having a gossip

Just called in on the off-chance. So pleased that we did! A very warm welcome was extended to my husband and I from a very friendly and helpful young lady (apologies but I forgot to ask your name)serving behind the bar. My husband and I chose the small plate Sunday lunch. WOW!!! We were amazed by the huge portions...and the ginormous Yorkshire pudding!! The selection of vegetables were very plentiful. But the baked leaks topped served in a cheese was an unexpected surprise. Absolutely delicious!!! Such a warm and friendly local pub that serves good quality, plentiful food ....no complaints here.. Thank you to all.

Only one member of staff on the bar, she didn't stop bless her... but still had time to be ever so welcoming and friendly! Drinks were great, our first visit and didn't eat, but we will be back to try the Sunday dinner.

Great service and lovely cosy decor, a nice place to go. It even has a play corner for the children and an activity sheet on their menu.
