Lovely sandwiches and amazing lemon meringue pie on offer. The staff are amazing, so friendly and warm. Worth a visit.

Very nice food and nice staff. Kebabs and burgers are banging and fresh food. High recommend and will return.

Great pub and good beers and wines, great bar snacks and meals some nights of the week. Lovely big meals and excellent bar snacks. Will serve you outside can order in advance. Rain-proof areas. Great friendly staff

Cracking little cafe! Breakfast is always tasty and the staff are amazing!

We go twice a week every week unless the owners are on holiday. That to me is a good recommendation.

**UPDATED REVIEW** **T-Post replied on their Facebook page to the same review below, with my replies being calm and honest. The reason I am posting this here is because I want people to see what an organisation does when they lie about how customers act. When there was CCTV which shows myself and my girlfriend getting up and leaving calmly and how they reply and speak to people that have been mistreated in their establishment. please see their reply attached.. as you can see it was completely mishandled by the owners/management and my review stands justified. If the owners will speak like this from criticism and feedback and If owners and management will speak to customers or former customers like this and allow staff to act like this with this mentality, then my review is honest and quite frankly it will be down to the calibre of who they employ. ** Me and my girlfriend have been on and off going here for a while, but sadly today was a poor experience. Living local, it’s an ideal dog-walking location to then stop in and have a bite to eat. Sadly, today was not a good experience. We walked in the main entrance and saw a couple of reserved tables and some that did not have reserved on them. With the front being very busy and people loitering, it’s not an ideal place for two people and a dog to stand when there are already about 8 other people standing. Immediately when we saw a table with no reserved sign, we went to sit down. Unfortunately, a young blonde lady asked, “Can I help you?” with a poor tone and, frankly, quite a rude and abrupt attitude. The other lady with dark hair sat us down, but by that point, it was, in my opinion, a sour atmosphere left from the previous staff member. A simple “Hi guys” or “Hello, how are you?” and then, after exchanging pleasantries, checking if there is a seat available would have made all the difference. In the end, we decided to leave before ordering. We told the blonde lady, who said, “I am sorry to hear that,” to which I replied, “Next time, work on your manners when people come in.” Disappointed, as the food is genuinely quite good, but unfortunately today, I am afraid you have lost a customer for the future!

Recommended by a friend. One of those place that's all about the food.... No glam, all scran. Oddly situated In the train station which brings an unusual charm, easily overlooked if passing by. The service was excellent and the food even better. I highly recommend the Garlic chilli balti, seasoned and spiced well, packed with flavour. Well priced and well worth the 20 minute drive past 5-10 closer curry houses.

Never fails to deliver brilliant home cooked food. Visit often but the steak and kidney pie last week was truly outstanding. As a southerner in Yorkshire so few places actually do kidney with most being ale or just steak. It was jam packed with both steak and kidney, all delicious. Soups are something else too. Sandwiches are always fantastic, fresh and full of excellent fillings. A big shout out not only to Lisa but especially the lovely Ellie out front

The food was delicious (my first time having halloumi, and it was amazing!). Nice choice of open air and more indoor seating. The staff were very welcoming. There was a lot of choice for cakes, and I am very indecisive so i ended up using a website to pick XD but I'm very glad because the toffee pot was exquisite. I will be coming again.

Situated in the Little Black Dog. Great artisan pizza, go on a Thursday and you get 2 for 1. Well worth a trip. Music always fab, staff friendly

Beautiful little sandwich shop, staff are extremely friendly, beautiful bacon & sausage this morning cooked exactly as I asked, deffinately recommend and I will be returning 😁😁

Met a friend for coffee here. Wasn't expecting much during these times of covid, but it was a delight. Sat outside under an umbrella big enough to keep off a shower. Excellent coffee served by a very friendly young student waitress. Delightful people and a lovely little dog. Will be back.

A lovely evening booked for my 60th with many friends and family. The team were amazing, service was fab. Food was fantastic huge portions think we all took food home with us. Even the chef came to ask if everything was okay with the food, don’t get that everywhere. Couldn’t have chosen any where better to go. Thank you so much Nick and your amazing team.
