Excellent Fish & Chips, best for miles around, however don't go on a Thursday as the fryer on Thursday's can fry! bring back Brian :-)

These people are amazing...hats off to Arty and the team! We go regularly and are always made welcome The food is cooked fresh to order and usually plentiful in their portions. If you have a big appetite then this is the place to go! A light bite is the equivalent of some place's regular fish and chips...AND you get a side of your choice with it! Seriously....if you haven't...go check them out...you will not be disappointed.

Moved here from Rotherham just before Christmas. These fish n chips are absolutely delicious and a completely different level up from anything I've been used to. Superb fish. Highly recommended.

Definitely the best fish and chips in town! Old school portion sizes, beautiful white fish and lovely chips. We have used a few different fish and chip shops in and around Selby but since trying this place recently we will not be going anywhere else.

Extremely friendly service from this Fish Shop.

The food is really nice. The chips are not greasy, the fish is cooked well and has crispy batter. Its a very small chippy, and the staff are rushed off their feet during peak hours it seems. They coped well, but I felt hurried along. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if you like fish and chips cooked properly!

Tried this place for the first time today and it's by far the best chippy in Selby, they even do Irish curry sauce! I'll definitely be back!

It's been awhile since we have been here, but we finally made it back to Selby. And The Crossings was first on our list to visit. We were not disappointed. The portions were generous and the food was very tasty and cooked to perfection. A special thanks so Gill and Bryan who were working in the shop. Your infections smiles and dedication to your jobs to serve a delicious evening meal was a reminder of why we like The Crossings.

Came to The Crossings Fish and Chip Shop as it was recommended and wow it did not disappoint. We ordered the special, it was HUGE!! Very tasty and definitely worth the drive.

First visit tonight , staff are brilliant, really funny and welcoming, got food home, best fish and chips I've had bar none. I will be back. My only complaint is im gonna get fat

Fish and chips from the crossings are excellent. You definately get value for money. I would recommend you to try them. They cater for all ages. If you want a light lunch ask for a lite bite, they are spot on.

Fantastic little chippy delicious fish n chips and at an affordable price

Absolutely disgust. Had approximately a dozen chips from one of each and threw the rest in the bin. The batter was so soggy on my cod that all most all of my chips had gone soggy too. I would’ve taken photos to substantiate my post but I was so angry, they just went in the bin. Back to Abbey Fisheries I visited 19th June. The order was phoned in at 16:10 and collected just after 16:30. The order wasn’t ready when we arrived, but really didn’t mind waiting, but having to wait and it being inedible is a standard I expect

The best mushy peas in Selby! Safely served with all social distancing rules adhered. Felt very safe and lovely food 😁

Just had the most A-M-A-Z-I-N-G fish in batter ...!! The batter stayed crispy until the very last bite ... the cod was brilliant..! The mushy peas did NOT taste of anything but PEAS ... no bicarb taste at all. Hubby had potato scallops and was impressed as they weren't greasy (neither was the fish I had) ... they were tasty according to him and he loved the fact that the batter was crispy and not soggy at all. WELL DONE the new owners you have regulars in us for sure. Keep up the good work !!!
