Generally, the portion was good, the service was good, it was worth the 45-minute drive. Eaten like the proverbial piglet. And for the haters - why don't you tell the owner directly what doesn't suit you? It doesn't hurt.

The food was very good and very large - the portions were huge. We were a large group and we waited for food for a very short time. Huge congratulations to the cook and staff. We will definitely come back there.

Another order where all of the food was excellent. I had a halloumi burger with fries, my partner had a lamb kebab in a bun. Portions were perfect. Special thanks to the staff. I mentioned on the order it was my partner's birthday. They added Happy Birthday onto the foil the kebab was wrapped in, which was a nice touch. Bistro 81 is now my favourite takeaway in Selby. Thanks again to the staff for another great meal.

The food was delivered 20 minutes earlier than expected which was great, however the food wasn't. The chicken strips were inedible - they were SO salty and dry. The nachos only came with some cheese and some jalapeños, the halloumi fries were actually rubbery mozzarella sticks. The BBQ pork loaded fries were ok, nice flavour, however cheap oven chips, so very overpriced for what you get. Very disappointed as we heard good things.

Best restaurant in Selby for me. The guy that owns it really cares and the lady is a fantastic Cook. Kebabs are the best I've ever had.

We decided to take advantage of the 40% discount last night and give Bistro 81 a try - we were not disappointed! We both ordered the Giant Doner Kebab in the bun and they certainly were giant! Really good portion size and very tasty too. We will definitely be having another some time.

Very cosy and delicious 😋 restaurant. I'm saying another wow. wow, wow. Run by a polish guy, very professional and friendly atmosphere. Busy just after opening. Food tastes just great!, polish seasoning defo, especially doner kebab, just as remember from Poland. A proper chicken burger 🍔 😋, my son said it's perfect. Hot dogs sizes are 👀 massive 😉. Highly recommended! Vegetarian options available, easy access. My husbands favourite place at the moment.

Food is generally always very good. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with last order as chicken was black and very dry. The portion of mix doner is getting smaller and smaller each time. Really shame.

very late hotdog was nice loads bigger than expected kebab was 90% salad very little meat and even managed to send the wrong cake and that was a huge let down at over £5

Barely warm food, delivered an hour later than expected with the wrong sauce. Definitely not gonna give it another go.

An hour and 20 wait for food when it originally said between 35 and 50 minutes. The NY Fries were just a mountain of sauerkraut on chips, I think I saw maybe 2 tiny bits of meat. The kebab in a bun was pretty much unbeatable, another mountain of salad to fight through in order to get to the meat, ended up tipping it out on a plate. Nowhere near my moneys worth and took forever to arrive. A real shame

Had takeaway twice now. Food is amazing. So tasty and fresh. Will definitely be back again!

During my visit, I tried the chicken kebab, which came with a generous portion size and a delicious selection of sauces. I also had the Dirty Lasagne Fries, which were equally impressive in both taste and portion size. The outdoor seating area is an excellent option, especially when the sun is out. I highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again.

The biggest thing that puts me off ordering from here is the super long wait times. I ordered my food around 14:01 and granted it came within the delivery time. But an hour and 20 minutes is a long time to wait for a burger and chips. I'd be more likely to regularly order if that wait time is somehow reduced. The food is amazing and always arrives warm, it is the delivery time that gets it for me. I have ordered at different times throughout the day also.

Big portions and very good quality and amazing taste

Even though the restaurant was fully booked, the staff easily prepared takeaway food for us and it was delicious, as usual! Additionally, the staff is very nice and helpful. :)

Ordered a kebab and it was genuinely the best one I’ve ever had from a takeaway. The meat tasted fresh and well seasoned. The salad was fresh and was well presented. They gave us regular updates of when our order was to be delivered. Food was hot when delivered and fries weren’t soggy and were crispy.

I've eaten in many places with Polish cuisine, but Wojtek's is amazing, the service is 6+, I was greeted with a smile upon entering, it's a worthy place, I really recommend it

Based on the reviews, I expected something much better, currently the food is prepared for the English. French fries could be made from potatoes and not bought frozen. Giant kebab, little meat and weak-tasting sauces. For this money you can eat a nice and tasty dinner in an Italian restaurant

Great place to eat and enjoy the weather during sunny days as they have sitting area outside! Delicious kebabs and wide choice of topped fries (definitely you need to try)!

Wow this is the best kabab is selby for sure...well cooked sauce was not too hot and not too garlicky portions are very generous too ! would definitely recommend to anyone for sure

A long time for burger to be delivered and it wasn’t anything special £20 ic delivery is a joke. I wouldn’t recommend. At least with other delivery’s you get a free garlic bread etc.

Me and my partner came in for lunch to find that the menu we'd grown to love had been changed so we were a bit worried. But we shouldn't have been, the food is still absolutely incredible. The portion sizes are incredibly generous (the giant kebab really IS a GIANT kebab!). The atmosphere is excellent and the guy who served us made us feel so welcome and was exceptionally friendly. Five stars. I'd go in everyday if I could.

We had loaded fries and dumplings, placed the order over the phone and picked it up. The food was gorgeous and plenty of it. We will definitley be calling again or book a table and enjoy some cocktails.

What a friendly place, tasty home-made food cooked and served by a lovely wife and husband team.

Lovely authentic Polish meal. Delicious comfort food. Try something new and get the dumplings and golbaki. Good vegan and vegetarian options too.

Sadly, I can’t give a good review. I really like this place normally but really disappointed this time. Food was lukewarm when we got it (normally hot) and bland (it has been delicious before).

My wife and I had lunch today with two friends. It was absolutely fabulous. Our fourth visit recently and we will be back again. (Trying to work out way through the extensive menu).

Service with a smile, nothing too much trouble, and most importantly lovely food. Hot, cooked to order and tasty. Will be back soon to try more of the menu :)

I haven't eaten such a good Hungarian pancake for a long time. Normally "heaven in your mouth". And this huge portion on the plate! Plus coffee and cake... I recommend it! Very nice service. The order was completed quickly. In one word: Perfect! I will come back there for sure.

Absolutely spot on!! I have eaten in here before but never ordered takeaway! I haven't been well recently and needed something healthy so ordered the ABC salad! It was just what I needed! Delicious, huge portion and delivered really early!! Great to know I can get something healthy delivered too!! What a wonderful restaurant! We've got a big Christmas get together booked in here and I can't wait!

I called here for breakfast one day and had an amazing meal. I couldn’t wait to go back for the evening menu and was not disappointed. The food was all absolutely delicious, more English people should try it! The guy who runs the place is fantastic and place is cool. Get a side of cabbage with bacon with whatever you get, as it’s the most wonderful and comforting dish. 5 stars all day long.

I have been for both breakfast and lunch and it was all amazing. Excellent service and excellent food. I had goulash and it was stunning. I would love to see more of the polish food options on the breakfast menu but that's my only criticism it's all lovely. We will be back 😀

Very tasty breakfast and good portion size. General food quality was really good and very tasty coffee. Staff are nice, but could more attentive especially with clearing. Would be nice to have better quality cutlery. Overall nice place and definitely recommend a visit.

Had a great three course meal with my wife and our dog. Sat inside which was pleasant, clean and spacious.

Delicious food and they were bang on for expected delivery time. Spinach pierogi’s tasted odd but perhaps just not our flavour. The rest was delicious !
