Very good service from all staff , also a very plesant atmosphere. So hood went 2 times ,

They did us a Sunday roast (even though we were a bit late). It was lovely and we couldn't fault either the food or the wonderful service. We will recommend to anyone. Thanks very much......We will definitely be back!

We picked this on our way to York due to reviews and wow are we glad we did! People were absolutely lovely so helpful and kind and welcoming. The food was unbelievable best pint of Amstel I’ve had!! Couldn’t recommend enough!!

Arranged a weekend away for me and my partners birthday. Stumbled across this pub and we were very happy with our choice. I opted for the fish pie which was a very generous portion filled to the brim, my partner had a cheese burger which was very nice and I helped her finish it 😃. Very good prices and a feel good pub.

Unfortunately we were let down at another pub who were meant to be catering for us for a family party of 14 people. At the last minute the Broken Bridge were able to accommodate us. Everyone said how nice the food was and the staff were lovely and really helpful.

Great Sunday lunch. Very well cooked meat, great seasoning on the veg, gorgeous gravy. Team were very accommodating with our various requests for the kids and we all had a lovely lunch. Brilliant value and made to feel very welcome 🥰

Called in for Sunday lunch on way to Whitby. Not the prettiest pub but staff friendly and food wasn't bad. I had pork and it came with Yorkshire pudding,roast and mash and four different vegetables. Price was reasonable and pub was dog friendly

A lucky find. Driving home from York to Shropshire, on the A64, and decided to find a pub for lunch. Turned off at Tadcaster and found this cracking pub. Lovely food, great staff, and a very friendly atmosphere. We'll worth a visit.

We called in around 7 pm one evening .Not sure what to expect ,we got such a friendly & very helpful welcome. After a Wild swim locally we had worked up an appetite .I had a huge goats cheese pizza .My son got a burger & loaded fries delicious & good prices .

We had the Sunday lunch, I had pork which was amazing, my girlfriend had the chicken, the fact she ate it all as a fussy eater just shows, amazing food and all the staff were very friendly, definitely be back again 5 star for me

Applied for a job here, had an interview and got told to call them on a certain date not too long after. I did so, got told by the manager she had a lot of stuff to sort out so she’d call me back after that weekend and never called back. I rang that day n never heard anything. During this time another place offered me an interview so I missed out on a job opportunity cos this place messed me about. Thanks 🤩

Popped in on a Wednesday whilst the dog was in the groomers down the road. They had a great burger/pizza deal on - food was tasty - & a really friendly welcome/service. Definitely recommend the place.

We sat a meal for 15 people, food was fantastic, on time had hot and delicious and good portions . The wait staff and bar staff very friendly and helpful. And Sunday dinners are amazing too. Thank you to all at the pub

Wow what a great place to go in tadcaster I would highly recommend great food and drinks, worth every penny also makes a great double Malibu and coke and a great waitress, they are all friendly at the broken bridge but especially . I can say this for sure they work very hard behind the scenes to make it amazing I would highly recommend if you are coming through tadcaster or coming for your holiday I would highly recommend this pub.

Beautiful food, traditional pub classics. Great service in celebrating a 70th birthday, pre ordered 2 courses for 11 guests, all food served in good time and piping hot. Great selection of ciders. The only thing that I would suggest improving would be a sauce or drizzle on the panko Prawns and the fish comes with chunky skin on chips which were a bit too big.

Top Mark's for friendly service and excellent food. Was struggling to find somewhere to eat after visiting York for the day and came across the Broken Bridge on way back to accommodation. Were warmly welcomed an attention to detail was excellent. Food was very good quality and very filling. Definitely reccomend.

We stopped here on the way back from a holiday in Whitby. Fantastic homemade food, friendly staff and dog friendly. Would really recommend if you live local or are passing through.

Popped in on a stop over for a beer and a snack We were too late to eat (kitchen closes at 8 on a Monday) However drinks were great staff fab and friendly One of the cleanest pubs I’ve ever been to Excellent Go try it

If you are staying nearby this pub is amazing , ( wish we’d found it earlier ) the atmosphere, food drink and staff makes it so welcoming , they’ve managed to incorporate a good feeling for everyone , the platters were enormous , and tasty and the pie delicious, the Premier and the Travel lodge are nearby , so glad we found it x

Just had Sunday Lunch here which was delicious. I had the lamb shank which was devine. The service was good and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Fabulous food and lovely friendly staff. Liked it so much we went back the next day. Felt really welcomed by all the staff and thought the food was excellent.

Waited 1/2 hour for food. Only 1 chef and 1 bar staff. Not enough for lunchtime.

Stopped here passing through on our way home and very glad we did. A very friendly atmosphere greeted with a smile and they served food all Day good food Menu opted for Club & chips which was lovely!! My son had a Philly one. Would Definitely visit again if in the Area

Ive been here a couple of times for food and drinks. Food has been lovely and good value. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Sunday lunch is really good quality especially for the price. Would definitely recommend giving it a try.

The lady that served us is lovely, friendly and went out of her way to help us, it is a lovely place to meet, I work for the wilberforce trust in tadcaster, we went to the broken bridge for a get together after a funeral, we had 3 wheelchair users with us so took up quite a lot of room, nothing was too much trouble, looking forward to my next visit there!

Good. Nice venue and lovely staff and locals. Meal was excellent and served promptly and fairly priced. Had the fish and chips deal on Friday so a tenner for a meal and drink. Decent l. Good children's menu and family friendly.

When we arrived were advised of a 30 min wait for food. Didn't take our order for over 30 mins. We ordered nachos and then we Waited well over an hour after that. We were completely ignored by the staff so eventually we just left. As we were leaving we were advised that our food was just about to come but too little too late. Very poor.

I didn't actually hate it. I've never been there but the infinitely stupid Google doesn't let me say that!!!
