Met a friend for coffee here. Wasn't expecting much during these times of covid, but it was a delight. Sat outside under an umbrella big enough to keep off a shower. Excellent coffee served by a very friendly young student waitress. Delightful people and a lovely little dog. Will be back.

Have been to the lovely little garden centre before (which I also recommend) but first time eating at the cafe. The homemade leek and potato soup and cheese scone (with chutney and butter) were delicious, with an assortment of tasty fruit teas to choose from too. Such friendly and welcoming staff, excellent customer service. Decided to take some slices of millionaires shortbread back for my daughter (one of her favourite cakes) and they were yummy, just the right balance of shortbread, caramel and chocolate. Thank you to the lovely ladies running this lovely little cafe. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend - tucked away but worth finding!

Not to be missed! A small hidden gem attached to a garden centre. Excellent coffee, super sandwich well presented, quaint surroundings and excellent friendly service. Shame we don't often pass this way but you happen to....then you won't be disappointed. Just in case you are in doubt....it's great!

Often stop here for a coffee and cake mid dog walk around the beautiful village. Peaceful and tranquil it's the perfect pitstop for a light bite to eat and the warm scones are to die for!

My sister and I met up for lunch on Wednesday here and had some very tasty homemade spicy butternut, sweet potato and chickpea soup, I had a brown roll with mine, which was very fresh and my sister had a cheese scone with hers. We finished off with a cup of tea and cake, I chose clementine & almond and my sister chose pear & rhubarb, both were delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. We also had a wander round the nurseries and found some great plants for our gardens. We will definitely be returning to this venue.

Passing though Cawood on our two week family vacation through the UK and had this nursery/cafe recommended to us. Seriously one of the best scones I had in my entire two week vacation!! The owners were so lovely to meet and talk to as well. The homemade soup and my introduction to Yorkshire tea was divine. Thank you!

Wonderful, cosy, eating/meeting place. Food was excellent, service was wonderful, and prices were very reasonable. Hot drinks were fab, and the Hot Chocolate was so yummy! I was being good and didn't have the cream and marshmallows - which my colleague did have - very jealous! Bought an excellent Christmas door wreath on the way out - Thank you to the owners for allowing us to experience their unique eatery! North Yorkshire County Music Service.

Nice fresh food and cakes, when we paid the bill I knew what was owed but was overcharged £1.45 we didn’t want to make a fuss as the staff was busy chatting!! Make sure you know what you owe before you pay.

Me & my little girl have popped in here many times over the past year for lunch after either walking to Cawood, or whilst passing through on the way to Selby. The customer service is always exceptional, with a varied range of freshly prepared sandwiches, salads and soup on offer (tailored to your taste if you have specific preferences).. as well as a great selection of home-baked cakes - of which I have sampled many!! The café is nestled right into the heart of the nursery, so not only do you enjoy a lovely lunch in a quiet and secluded spot - you also get a wellbeing boost from being surrounded by all those lush plants for an hour or so! They also have a small selection of toys and books to keep little ones entertained whilst you eat, and several high chairs to use. Though only a small nursery, they have a great selection of seasonal plants on offer, plus a small selection of thoughtfully chosen gift items at very reasonable prices. Certainly a place we will visit again and again!

Superb. Could not have been more helpful, willingly made a plain ham salad which was not on the menu. And my lasagne was to die for; crispy and cheesy, all a man could ask. Recommended, the descriptions of this being a little gem are bang on. Little nursery as well. Sit and eat, have a cuppa, and look into the plant area at the same time. Will be back.

Staying in nearby Wistow and came across this gem on our way back from riding the solar cycle path on Easter Sunday morning. Lovely cheese scones and cakes that will certainly tempt us back again. Friendly staff and although we had tea (YORKSHIRE tea) coffee was prepared properly and milk for cappuccino etc done as it should be! Would highly recommend the coffee shop and the garden centre looked lovely too
