I have had one or two things from here for lunch, but just recently, the times ive gone it has been closed. Ive also noticed they have dogs in, which is great but im not sure a dog should be sat on the seat at the table. I did go in one day for an apple juice, which was priced at £2.50 and the juice came out of an Aldi juice carton that i noted were 80p at the time. i know you have to make a profits, but really?!

I work in Tadcaster and it is always nice when a new option appears for the lunchtime sandwich. Although this has been in operation some time now, I have only recently discovered it and was very pleasantly surprised to discover a fantastic option of lunchtime treats to takeaway. I settled for a tuna mayo sandwich with a side portion of chips and asked tentatively whether they offered decaf coffee. This was no problem at all and throughout the whole transaction, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Prices were very reasonable and I shall certainly be returning.

Discovered this cafe while out biking yesterday. What a find . We had two coffees and two sandwiches, one bacon and sausage, and one bacon and tomato. The ingredients were of the highest quantity. The staff were very friendly and professional. The prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place to all the cyclists passing through Tadcaster. I will definitely use again.

We had breakfast on a Sunday morning. Quality ingredients, cooked to perfection, prepared to order and plated up hot. I had The Almighty Walkers, Jan had The Walkers Smaller. We shared a large pot of tea. With friendly service, served in a comfy upstairs room. All in all a bit of a treat. Somewhere to go back to the next time we're over in this part of Yorkshire.

After spotting this little cafe , prices very reasonable we ate in . After ordering 4 meals and 4 drinks they arrived 30 minutes later and were very nice ! When we went to pay the menu price stated £5.95 for a toasted sandwich with chips and a drink and we got charged over £20 for only 2 meals when questioned they blamed a new girl who just started and said she didn’t realise we ordered off the kids menu after pointing and showing her the menu . This is not her fault but the business owners fault . As a new starter u DO NOT let them take orders on food and then changed us double the price. Staff ok but the poor girl was shaking taking our order and was confused . Who ever owns this need to have a word with him/herself and train there staff instead of throwing them in the deep end and taking a table of 4 orders !!

Lovely cafe with friendly staff who offered to 'park' our bikes. There was a good choice of food and I loved the decor! I had a tuna melt , which was delicious and my friend had a loaded bacon sandwich. Will definitely go back. 😁

My friends and I have been looking for a new place to dine in Tadcaster on our Sunday cycle rides as other places have been disappointing and believe you me this place did not disappoint. On arrival we stored our bikes safely round the back as suggested by the owner and then took our seats where the friendly staff quickly took our orders the food arrived promptly and was delicious everyone was happy even tho one of our party is quite fussy and hard to pls the bill was very reasonable and I would recommend to anyone to give these a try thanks guy see you soon too effort 👍👍

I cannot fault the friendliness of the people who work here and they are so dog friendly. We had an excellent beef stew and the dog was given a complementary sausage. I thoroughly recommend

Fabulous cafe in Tadcaster. I visited with a friend and received a really warm welcome from the staff. Didn’t realise at first but there’s an upstairs seating area which is lovely and the food was delicious. It was busy when we went but the waitresses were efficient and really friendly - they made sure we were well looked after. Overall a 10/10 experience and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Went to this place on high recommendation while visiting family. Once seated we where offered drinks which where perfect , the disappointing part was when we were asked for a food order the waitress had to check on part of one of the meals ordered only to return and inform us that we could not have our meals because the fryers where off. Our food options where panin or Jacket potatoes. I feel as a customer we should have been informed of this on arrival not during ordering. Needless to say we paid for our drinks and took our custom elsewhere.

A regular stop off whenever we’re in Selby. The food is fantastic whether it’s a quick snack, full on Sunday lunch or special occasion. Mat, Gemma, Di, Chaba & all the staff are polite, respectful and… efficient. An enjoyable experience. Can’t recommend highly enough.

We took a bit of a detour from our journey South to visit The Hidden Tearoom, and what a great choice it was! So many delicious homemade goodies and a very warm welcome from Edi. The Scone-wiches (cheese scone with bacon, onion marmalade, cream cheese and salad) were fabulous and there were too many lovely cakes and puddings to choose from. Highly recommended.

We have eaten here with friends 4 times over the last 2 years, but it has never really impressed us. The food is OK, but not really worth the cost. The chips were hard and dry, which I don't understand as they are supposed to be home made! Also, the drinks have always been expensive, but £4.55 for 1 pint and one half pint of lime and soda is ridiculous. The most we have ever paid in the past is £3, but often less than that!!
