Enjoyed a great dinner at Nog Inn Thursday evening. Thursday was 'fish night's so we opted for the set fish and chip supper for two. Price was reasonable and importantly food was very tasty and a generous portion. Desserts ( apple and berry crumble and ice cream respectively) were also tasty, well presented and wholesome. Place was busy which was good to see and together with lovely friendly staff, welcoming bar and good drinks menu this pub succeeds in offering a very warm, cosy atmosphere. Great to find a place like this which offers good value, quality and welcoming atmosphere. Keep it up!

Ignore all negative reviews..... This place is brilliant, amazing selection of beers, sours, stouts etc and an incredible selection of low alcohols too. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly staff who are clearly passionate about their craft. Lovely atmosphere, cosy seats too.... The soft pretzels with queso is a-mazing!!

We enjoyed our Anniversary stay and meal at Hatton Court Hotel. All staff were polite, friendly and very efficient ensuring we had an enjoyable evening. The surroundings, atmosphere and ambiance were very pleasant. The menu had an excellent selection of food and wines to choose from, I enjoyed the crispy salt & pepper squid but in my opinion, after being served my ‘Bouillabaisse’ (fish stew!) I was underwhelmed, the lobster bisque was lacking flavour and missing the mussels (I didn’t initially realise there were none) the Sea Bass was very nice, but I did put in a late order of fries which arrived in no time at all. On the other hand my wife really enjoyed the Arancini, followed by Braised pulled beef feather blade. The bottle of Italian wine was very nice and paired well with the fish. We would not hesitate to eat here again, but my choice of mains would certainly be different.

We've eaten here before and it's been good. Not so today. We ordered a sausage brioche bap and a bacon, sausage and egg brioche bap. For the two plus a water it came to £17.50. I'd have been happy with that if the two meals had arrived with some sort of salad or garnish, but no, bap on bare plate. Both brioche baps were quite stale. The service was good but it was pricey for poor food. Not surprisingly it was empty other than us, on a busy Wednesday lunchtime in a prime spot in the centre of Gloucester.

Visited with family, food was really delicious, desserts great too. Had the 'special' Turkey, ham and leek pie, which I would highly recommend. Family members had lasagne and ham, egg and chips which they thoroughly enjoyed. Very friendly owners too, made you feel welcome. Will definitely revisit.
