Came in for a meal with the wife brilliant food and service. glad to see the old manager Clive is back glad to see the old manager gone especially when we came in a few months ago and over heard old manager asking the staff to write reviews to make her look good. Will be coming back now that Clive is back

10 ladies in their 40s visited for bottomless brunch to celebrate a birthday. It took 45 mins for a waitress to even take our first drink order which meant half of our 90 minute bottomless has already gone. Argued the point but the concept of this was lost on the waiting staff and management! Educated them by suggesting if busy they should provide bottles of Prosecco on bottomless tables to keep guests happy. They were not equipped for our booking despite this being made a month in advance. Afternoon tea was average, small servings and limited variety. Not enough to feed 10! Service painfully slow! Moved out to the terrace after the bottomless and waited another 45 minutes for drink order to be taken. Waiting staff are miserable, stressed and overwhelmed. If it’s that bad in April god forbid what it will be like in the summer months! Stunning location, great decor but absolute shambles of organisation and management. We had booked a 50th birthday celebration in July which I’ve cancelled as I was so disappointed by it all. The Boathouse really need to pull their finger out. Expensive drink and good and shocking service and quality. I’d steer clear!

Once again outstanding food and fabulous customer service by Charlie and Amelie!! Cannot fault at all!! Busy but they handled it well, could’ve helped them both out by an extra pair of hands even if it was just running food or manning restaurant whilst they focused on the bar.

Food is delicious, with a great selection. Staff are always lovely and service is great. Our favourite place. Stunning location

My friends and I visited the Bull in Otford whilst doing the Otford circular. We had booked it but on this day it happened to be understaffed which is understandable. We went to order food and a few items on the menu weren’t available which is fine but the staff were not very friendly. The food was tasty though and this pub does have a lovely beer garden so we enjoyed sitting in the sun.

Once shown to our table it was obvious the place wasn’t cleaned properly. My feet were sticking to tenge floor, the table wasn’t clean and neither were the surrounding ledges. I ordered a bacon and cheese burger, which, when it arrived, was small and the burger was like eating a burnt brick, it must have been cooked for hours. I was so disgusted that I asked the waiter to take it away and that I didn’t want a replacement. I am 60 years old and this is the first time I have ever returned a meal. My husband refused to pay for the meal although the waiter did try to charge us for half of it, even tough I had had about one mouthful. Needless to say we will never visit this establishment again.

Came for brunch on a Saturday, food came quick and very hot. Had great service from Ellie, she was very friendly.

Attended with husband, daughter and grandaughter for their carvery and I must say we were pleasantly surprised, it was very good. Beef is always a risky option but we all found the beef perfect!! Turkey was succulent, cauliflower cheese was very tasty as was the rest. Only downfall was the waitress, who had little or no people skills and seem to struggle even being polite, otherwise I would have opted 5 instead of 4

First time visiting in 14 years due to a bad experience but thought we would try again, and all we can say is wow, food was absolutely delicious, tasted good, looked great, great portion size, came out very fast and hot, staff were very very friendly and welcoming, the roast was superb and I'm very funny on pub roasts 😀but this was the best I've tasted, pub very clean, will definitely be visiting again.

We were a large family group of 16 out for Easter Sunday lunch, our main and dessert courses had been preordered. We all enjoyed our food tender beef, tasty vegetarian mains great lamb and duck. Plentiful interesting veg crispy roasties and huge yorkshires absolutely no complaints . The desserts were equally well received. We had super attentive service from our waiter who was brilliant nothing too much trouble

It is no space where to leave your bicycle outside So disappointing

Not a bad spoons at all, in the town close to shops. It's not a massive place but found somewhere to sit. Service was quick and good. Toilets upstairs, they were clean but a little tired.
