Great pub - with an amazing roast. Came here a few times with some mates. Every single time was perfect. They have parking next to the pub so that's a plus.

High quality of food and amazing customer service. Nice and cosy place to enjoy evening with friends and family. I definitely will be back.

Had a lovely evening. I thought the service was friendly and attentive. The food was exceptional with excellent presentation.I was really impressed and think, over all, it was an improvement on last visit yet that was amazing too. The standard is very high not sure what further improvement can be made. Super menu choice. No criticism, but would love to see escargots back on the menu. :-)

We’ve just had a lovely evening at The Sun Inn - the steak was fantastic and we highly recommend the pistachio soufflé for desert! We were made very welcome and the service was excellent and efficient. There was also live music which sounded great. Overall, a lovely experience!

First time visiting and was pleasantly surprised. Staff very welcoming, atmosphere lovely and relaxing. Car park is fairly small but the pay and display round the corner had plenty of spaces at a very reasonable price. We had lunch and the food we had was very enjoyable, will definitely be returning.

Can thoroughly recommend the special July lunch menu (£18.50 two courses;£23.50 three courses). Delicious cucumber gazpacho, sea bream with ratatouille and strawberry fool - including a lovely rose spritzer. Also on the menu, crab fishcake, smoked pork and madeleines with chocolate dipping sauce. Good service and atmosphere . Have enjoyed the May and June lunches at The Sun sister pub (Barley Mow at Englefield Green). Excellent value for money and interesting menus.

I live in London but the service and food is better than your London gastro pub. I come here. Échaude if the service and surroundings first, food second. My favorite restaurant, pub, never fails to disappoint, and I’ve been visiting monthly or more in the summer for 10 years.

This pub/restaurant is of a very high standard. Staff and service excellent as well as superb food. All the young staff were very good and friendly, the managers very helpful regarding parking, which can be tricky when busy and also dog friendly areas too

The service, food and atmosphere were all excellent. We had a selection of Sunday roast and other menu options. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their food. There is always a good selection of wine and the bill was not excessive. We were all chatting and didn’t feel pressure to give up our table and leave. There is a good bar area which is great to meet friends or just go for a drink. Would highly recommend it never disappoints.

The Sun Inn is our ‘go to’ venue for lunch when we visit family in the area. Each time we are made to feel welcome, and the staff are friendly, efficient and very professional. There is always a good menu and on this visit we were not disappointed. We had a very enjoyable experience with food freshly cooked and well presented. We will be returning.

It is a lovely pub, and dinner was excellent. Car Parking is always tight but there is a public car park just up the road by the roundabout.

Tuesday night is quiz night, so you can catch happy hour, dine and then quiz which beats staying home to watch the tv - especially as dogs are made so welcome too! Lovely evening - we'll be back!

Perfection in a pub. Faultless service, varied menu that isn’t too overwhelming, incredible food, thoroughly recommend the Beef & Ale Pie, the Pistachio Soufflé & the deluxe Hot Chocolate. Very reasonably priced for such excellent food.

Ambience ,the food and service were all exceptional, well done you all. The staff were polite , friendly, helpful and attentive. Every dish we has was fab. The cheese soufflé and goats cheese tart were both well presented and tasteful. Main courses of duck and the beef pie…great and a great finish with crepe brûlée.

Love this place. Attentive staff and great food. We had the fish soup to start and it was delicious. Mains were the lamb roulade and the sausage and mash. Faultless. Too full for a dessert so we rounded off with coffee. The only criticism was that the latte was served in a glass. It should have been a thermal glass so that I didn't need to burn my hand to drink the latte. Either that, or a cup with a handle.

We had the 3 course set menu using some virgin experience vouchers given to us as a gift. The food was absolutely amazing!! I had a cheese souffle to start, pork belly for main and I loved all of it. Really lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, very cosy and generally really lovely experience. We'd like to come back for a roast next!
