The best restaurants serving British food in South East

Had a lovely cream tea, lovely and cozy with a lovely warm fire in the winter. Lovely fresh scones with cream and jam. Staff were very attentive and polite. We left headphones in the restaurant and one of the staff kindly found us while we were driving away to return it.

One of the best roasts I’ve eaten out at a pub in years, definitely recommend highly.

Amazing little Riverside pub. Overlooks a very nice part of the Thames, and I believe the pub is hundreds of years old, so it adds to the aesthetic. Great place!

Amazing service, lovey staff. The room however, let them down. The mattress was awful, could feel every spring on it. The shower leaks at the controls and there was very thick dust on the radiator which you could smell while heating was on. The staff were awesome but unfortunately can't give a high score. We regret paying for 2nights as only stayed for 1 but if the issues are sorted, would love to try again.

It was a little cold and my baguette didn’t have much chicken in but it was still nice

The food came cold and there was 2 missing items that I had paid for. It was hard to enjoy as the food was very cold. Wouldn’t buy from here again

Amazing place, friendly and gave us time to enjoy our Christmas Dinner .. we had 2 disabled and the staff and bosses were very kind and very helpful... Will be going back as food was fantastic and very friendly to us..

Went there for a family meal on Sunday. Kim our waitress was amazing. She helped us keep all our bills separated to ease payment. She answered any questions we had and was more than happy to help with other bits, She made it such an enjoyable time. Plus the food was great!

Amazing place for a drink or a spot of lunch. Terri and Jess on the bar are so welcoming and check to make sure everything is ok. The food is amazing as always and you need to try the onion rings. The history of the pub and the decor inside is beautiful

We were taken to the pub with friends for lunch on a day trip out on their boat. The food & service were excellent, and our server, Bailey, was very helpful & arrentative alone of our party had some good allergies. He went out of his way to ensure that they were accommodated for. Thank you Bailey. We will certainly be back.

Jammy Red wine. I was charged £12 for a glass of wine. I should have just walked. A bottle is only £8 I have been in this pub previously and don't remember paying this amount.

I stay at Premier Inn's all over UK and Ireland and I must say the food has always been good. This Thursday and Friday a lot of my family stayed here, and everyone commented on the quality of service and the delicious food. Special mention to Nikki. 1st class. Oh, and the breakfast lady was brilliant too. Thank you all. Great staff..

Went in today for Sunday lunch. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent. We will definitely be back.
