Awesome place, the burger was fantastic

Food good as was the price "BUT" - this, and the previous two lunchtime visits during March and Feb. offered really dreadfully slow service! This was also experienced by local friends of ours on other occasions. Regrettably this will be the last visit.

Great pub especially if u got little ones as their playpark is well secure and full of action in the summer. Menu very reasonable, rib Eye steak £19 and comes with chips, mushrooms and tomatoes. Chicken wings are a must try.

Lovely Friday spot. Great food. Service was mostly good, but occasionally slow and needed a few extra reminders for some things.

Absolutely 5 star service by the lovely chap working today. The only reason I’ve scored 4 stars is there was no veggie main option on the kids menu. Veggie nuggets stored in the freezer surely would be a quick and easy fix? Well maintained kids play area. Food was good quality.

Highly recommended for the friendly service, clean and cosy atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. For our misfortune we only could eat french fries on that day (14/03/2025).Even that also was well seasoned & good portion wise. Toilets are very clean and well maintained too. Thank you very much for your valuable service. See you again.

Great little pub, brilliant food, good drinks, and a nice vibe. Bar staff are friendly and a good laugh. All round great recommendation!

Grubby, the only word to describe it. On the first sunny Sunday of 2025, to sit in the sun with a beer, joy.BUT No, sitting in an outside ashtray surrounded by empty glasses. Please only a handful of customers so plenty of time to collect glasses, care. A broom everyday no hardship, but there as so many a big job. One of only a few remains wet pubs, look after the old lady she needs Love

Lovely place highly recommended

We had the most amazing mini-moon stay at The Beach House. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated with rustic charm, stunning sea views, and even a glimpse of the Isle of Wight. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we especially loved the freestanding bath! The staff made our stay extra special. Alex, our first waiter, was so bubbly and friendly – he even brought us complimentary champagne when he found out we had just got married. He was also super knowledgeable about the local brewery’s beers. Leanne greeted us warmly, noticed my wedding bouquet, and remembered us throughout our stay, always checking in. On our second night, Leo was fantastic – he gave great food recommendations and carefully checked ingredients when I asked, showing real care and attention. Overall, this was the best stay we’ve ever had. We’re so glad we chose The Beach House and can’t wait to come back – highly recommend!

You must try all the tandoori starters and curries. They are amazing. They are always greeted with so kindness and respect .

Loved our stay soooo much. From arrival to even after departure popping in for a coffee, everything was perfect. Big shout out to Oscar ❤️, Kit and James ⭐️ who were exceptional. Thank You to everyone xxx
