Food arrived late cold and items missing won’t be ordering again

All the food was stone cold was saying out for delivery for 45 mins.

Food was cold, bread on kebab was doughy and tasted like pure oil, kebab was stone cold like it had been sat there for ages!

over 1 hour late, kept saying it would be delivered iin 10 minutes. when it finally came food was cold, and messed up the sauces an salad

My diner kebab was absolutely amazing although unfortunately my partners was cold

cold food curry was like water same as Bombay potatoes did not eat food

so this is my second time for this restaurant the first time was pretty bad with the delivery time and unfortunately this time is even worse we are Virgin on two and a half hours I feel like a little homeless orphan boy looking out the window it's such a shame because the food is actually really good the staff team really happy and nice I think it's a problem with just eat so if you are looking for a good kebab this is the place just don't order it off of Just eat unless you want to wait 3 hr

the food itself was very nice if not a little on the cold side but then I wouldn't expect it to be hot for being as late as it was

We ordered Ch Shwarma Kebabs and some fries. Our order was almost 20 mins late, taking order to be at ours from the time of order 1hr and 15 mins, and that was ordered before they opened for delivery.In regular kebab there was 7 pieces of chicken, in XL about 10. Regular was without salad so it looked more than sad. Chips were terrible - soggy, taste of chicken was good but it was cold by the time we got it to the table and for the price we paid it was not a meal had to look for beans on toast

Food is fine, but delivery was 2 hours after ordering, and an hour past the latest expected delivery time.

I ordered 1 large and 1 regular size kebab and they was both the same size was no difference in size

The order came early which we thought was great but then it arrived and it was the wrong order ! Not even one item that we ordered was there and the food was cold to top it off ! We hadn’t eaten all day so we just left it and ate it anyway. But then received a call from the restraint to say not to eat it and they were going to send the right food but no food came !

Over an hour late. Called restaurant, staff seemed unbothered and hung up the phone.

Ordered a delivery at 10:30pm. It turned up 1/2 hour later, hot and tasty. And they gave me a bonus of 6 chicken wings, which I wouldn't ordinarily order, but as they were so tasty, I'll definitely be ordering them in the future. Crafty or what lol

Mixed grill had all the normal diced bits of skewered lamb chops and chicken cubes you would expect; plus a whole half chicken. That's tomorrow's lunch sorted as well as today's evening meal, a truly huge meat feast.

One of the worst curries I've had, if you want a proper curry go to one which does only authentic Indian food and not one like this which does kebabs, burgers, chips etc because I do tthink as mentioned it's hit and miss, the curry was literally flavoured water with a few lumps of meat in it, garlic naan was ok but flat cooked and not a proper one you'd expect from a professional restaurent, curry was just chillis thrown in at random, wouldn't use again,I;d recommend Gulan Indian Kitchen in Reading or House of Flavours if you want a proper curry, no wonder it took so quick

Worst food ever. Tried this takeaway 1st time and definitely last time.. Quoted 45 mins and delivery came after 1hr n 25 mins. Food is stone cold and burnt .

Awful with delivery, will tell you 5-10 mins you’ll be waiting another hour wishing you ordered from somewhere else

Wrong food arrived. Food was over 20 minutes late

My order was not delivered at all.

Saag aloo was not received, but instead saag paneer which no one in my house eats. Also no onion salad, or mango chutney which I paid for . . .

Ordered ben and Jerry's ice cream which was not delivered wont be using again as that was 7 pounds to the restaurant for free not happy

the food was fantastic, I cannot fault it. The customer service was helpful and polite...I cannot fault that. The delivery however was late, cold and when I opened the bag it had not been handled correctly. The containers were crushed, sauce everywhere, a complete mess.I would like to reiterate...the food was fantastic. The delivery was the issue. I will not use Just eat again. I will contact the restaurant directly.

It took 2 hours to be delivered and was awful will not order again

Food took two and a half hours to arrive. I called the restaurant and they promised it was on the way - place is max 10 min drive away but took 30 mins after the call before it turned up. Several of the delivery items were wrong

Late and the Onion salad was missing.

Ordered a kebab over two hours ago . Kept pushing the time back . All I ordered was a kebab and wings . It took over two hours to arrive, really wouldn’t recommend them. No apology , no discount for the 2 hour wait nothing at all from them really disappointed will not go here again absolute monstrosity

Had one of the best takeaways I've had the other week. Great customer service from the restaurant, big order that came promptly. Ahmed is also very hospitable and the food tastes of my curry was top grade. Highly recommend.

Really good food for the money. Delivery driver was kind and friendly.

Placed an order at 18.11. Estimated delivery 19.05-19.25. Got a text at 19.13 to say order delayed. Estimated delivery updated to 19.15-19.35. At 19.40 app says order had been delivered. It hadn’t. 19.56 I rang the restaurant and they said the driver left about 15-20 mins ago. I said I hope the order is still hot when it finally gets here. At 20.03, after going next door instead of my house, the order was delivered not even like warm. Not impressed.

Food was excellent, finally found a place that do kebabs in naan bread. 👍

Food was hot and tasty as always. They always read the notes and fulfil requests for sauce on the side etc. And the Yellow sauce is exceptional 👌 I could drink it by the cup!

I don't even know where to start. Salad missing. Mixed kebab that I bought for 12.99 was very small. The chicken was chopped into dust as if they ran out of chicken or made if for someone without teeth, lamb shish was dry. On the contrary the mayo was good and the chilli sauce. I'll stick to a restaurant that takes pride in making good food for customers.

Pedí una comida para la entrega. Tardó 1 hora 50 minutos en llegar y hacía frío. He utilizado este establecimiento para llevar / comida a domicilio muchas veces en el pasado, sin problemas. La comida parecía diferente a lo habitual, carne de kebab de mala calidad y el naan también era diferente. Además, recibimos alimentos diferentes a los pedidos originalmente, sin 'alitas de pollo gratis' como se prometió en el sitio web para pedidos superiores a un cierto costo. ¿Quizás el establecimiento está ahora bajo nueva dirección? Cliente decepcionado.

Good food and prices are not bad either

Fresh, hot and very tasty. My go to place for the extra tasty doner kebab, added bonus that the portions are sizes great and generous amount of sauces.. Spicy chicken rice is just as tasty 😋 thank you got stuff and can't wait to order from you again!

Large chip potions have got noticeably smaller since last time but otherwise great as usual.

Driver turned up. Asked if he could wait. Sent colleague out of the train station to pick up food from driver. We were 5min but driver couldn't wait I suppose. So we were regular customers but if we buy food at the station and can't get it delivered we have to go elsewhere.

been ordering from here for years now. Always very reliable, fresh hot tasty food and great that they do the stamps. I find them far superior to other curry and kebab restaurants in the same area

I (unfortunately) currently live along Oxford Road in Reading and although there are many takeaways within walking distance, I often visit HotStuff when I need my Kabab fix. I find the staff friendly and always happy to chat. They have a good selection of dishes on the menu and I can recommend the lamb chops. Overall good food, reasonably priced and friendly staff.

Food was piping hot and delicious, as always. My fave was the Special fried rice and the yellow/orange sauce is phenomenal, I just wish they'd send of it more sometimes haha.

My partners food was good, I couldn’t eat mine as I asked for no onion and when we received them, one had no salad like we asked but mine was covered in onion. Very disappointing

my order was late, missing items, my childs meal didn't arrive and the rest of the food didn't taste right. I order from you very often so I am quite disappointed.

Utterly dreadful. No food after 2hrs and 50 mins. Have submitted a refund request as I now have to place another order and wait. Phoned restaurant after an hour and 40 mins who just lied and said it would be with me shortly. Avoid if you want anything to eat.

2nd time I have had late delivery this place use to be good

ordered food at 17.50 was informed by just eat, delivered at 19.10. food eventually arrived at 20.05 stone cold. had to be thrown in bin. usually a good place to order. website not answering the phone. terrible service. verypoor quality. whole family starving. I have had to cook more food and kids went to bed upset. so disappointed. This needs to be sorted out...

Appreciate the gesture to deliver for a single order of a tenner but the food when it arrived was 'COLD' and took well over an hour to arrive. I specifically asked for extra salad and pickled jalapeno peppers but just 2 in pack! BUT it was the meat that really let me down. Inspite of the hour plus long wait, if the meat was tender and succulent, it would've more than made up for all else. However the meat contained in the order was overdone and chewy .... like 'left-overs' were put in the box delivered to me. Needless to say, most disappointed as I was really looking forward to the meal. The tenner spent could've been put to much better use, regrettably do I say as I rarely ever order out. A treat but not so in the end. But the delivery man was polite and pleasant. It's the only reason I gave it 2*. For the delivery man's helpful manner, I would give 4*. However small an order may be, if the food is hot and flavoursome, you will have returning customers and a positive review posted online.

Passing through while delivering in the area paid £7.50 for a large kabab and it was absolutely brilliant for that price it was huge and tasted great will be visiting again

Hot stuff in Reading down the wonderful Oxford road is full of south Asian delicacies. The menu is jam packed as you can see from the photo. I just heard the lovely language of an Urdu dialect which is a form of Punjabi. It sounds lovely. Decor is very nice. Tv screens also show what options are available. Good water. Very cold. Very welcoming man at the desk. Interested in slimming world. Nice. Very nice place. Definitely recommend.

I didn't get any poppadoms with my order even though it was 18f, I even got a burger to get the price above 15 for the free poppadom
