Absolutely blown away by my experience at The Crown in Hastings! The quail was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients really shone through. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the meal even more memorable. A must-visit for anyone in the area looking for an outstanding culinary experience. Can’t wait to come back!

We booked The Gallivant back in July for our wedding anniversary but had to move the date to October due to personal circumstances. All the way through staff were very accommodating and were only too helpful in helping change the date and ensure we were rebooked for the room, dinner and morning yoga. Communication at all times was fantastic!! So we at last stayed at The Gallivant and wow what an experience!! On arrival the staff were so welcoming, booking us in and showing us round the place. The shared spaces, such as the bar the reading room and restaurant are completed to a really high standard and the bedroom was really comfortable with a fantastic shower!! Pre dinner we enjoyed a few glasses of lovely English wines and then had an excellent two course meal which was cooked to perfection! We slept really well in a really cosy comfortable bed and woke to a relaxing yoga class with Katie followed by one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Real shame we only had the one night… I could have easily stayed all weekend. Thanks to all the Gallivant staff for making our stay so memorable!! What a wonderful experience!!

Both myself and my partner had a really wonderful 2 nights at The Gallivant [Complete Gallivant, booked with Mr and Mrs Smith]. We felt taken care of in every way by the staff whom were beyond incredible. The bedroom was large and spacious with a lovely garden/patio to sit out in. It was very clean, and the turn down service at night was a lovely surprise. The stay was everything we had imagined and expected it to be- quiet, cosy, and warm! I was looking for a cottage-like cosy stay, somewhere away from the hustle of the city and the Gallivant was just that. Food was delicious and the breakfast spread was very unique and something we really looked forward to every morning. We were so close to Camber beach as well, and the Gallivant provided wellies/blankets/towels if needed. Special shout out to Oscar and Muli for making us feel so welcome every day- they always had a smile on their faces, went above and beyond to keep guests happy and were such a delight. Thanks to Ruth for the spectacular body treatments too! Nothing to fault here on our stay.

We arrived for a Sunday Lunch after a blowy walk on Camber Sands with our dog. They have a dog friendly area for dining to the side of the main bar dining area which was ok and water for the dog was forthcoming quickly The Menu was disappointingly short! Nibbles - a selection of four but small portions Starters - just three and one special. We were told there was only one serving of the special left (scallops and apparently they only have three anyway) and this went before we could order. The soup on the menu was not available (ran out of parsnips!) and another substituted - tasty but not a good start Mains - choice of six, two meat four fish. The Fish and chips were terrible - Coley a lump of grey substandard fish and very dried out and caraway seed in the batter, which was not a good combination. We used to give Coley to the cat! The chips arrived cold and had to be sent back. How can you get such a simple dish so wrong Slipper sole portions were small and dried out. Broccoli, mostly stem and root vegetables undercooked We complained and two complimentary Crème Brûlée arrived and they were good All in all whole meal massively disappointing and we will not be going back. And it was not cheap by any standards with £25 for fish and chips!

Booked the restaurant for a family dinner as we were visiting the area. Sad to report the food was decidedly underwhelming, we had celeriac soup to start which was so bland, mussels for a main but were the smallest molluscs and portion size I have ever seen and a basque cheesecake for dessert, which was edible. Service was average at best but with the prices being charged expected more, a whole lot more in fact, fell a long way short in terms of flavour, presentation and quality. It completely lacks substance and would suggest that management review what is happening in the restaurant based on our experience.

We celebrated our Golden Wedding anniversary with a weekend break at The Gallivant. Our room was absolutely beautiful with lots of welcome extras and with a secluded outside space. We were lucky to have great weather so we were able to make good use of the space. The staff were really warm and friendly and gave excellent service. We would definitely stay again.

The sand between your toes. Sky and beach as far as your eyes can see. Wonderful food made with love. Deeply comfortable beds in beautifully thought out bedrooms. The above is their blurb on the homepage. Sadly none of it is true, as the hotel is located on a very busy road which has to be crossed before you get to the huge carpark, then the vertiginous dune before you even glimpse the sea. Food is not wonderful - it’s very ordinary and not well executed - very glad we didn’t opt for the ribeye with a surcharge of £50 for two! I didn’t even know that you could get a chocolate mousse wrong, but it had clearly been sitting in a big bowl for a couple of days then slapped on a plate. It was glutinous and not very chocolatey. Even water is charged for, though it comes in a stone bottle with no branding. The waiting staff are over familiar, one called me ‘my love’ which got my hackles up. They’re well meaning but not very professional. The hotel looks like a motel (which it used to be) and is surrounded by houses - very suburban - and is not how it’s portrayed online. Our bedroom was very near the main road and you could hear traffic noise constantly. We noticed that the twice we made the trek to the beach there were police on the beat which doesn’t fill you with confidence about the area. The room itself was badly maintained with loads of bubbled paintwork on the bedside shelf and one of the sidelights with flexible tubing was broken. The piece de resistance though was the shower - you could open the door to get in but because it was so small the door couldn’t be closed whilst showering so the floor was sopping wet and as the loo was in there it was pretty unpleasant. Clearly lots of people love this place but I would prefer to spend my £800 (one night including dinner and breakfast) somewhere else that isn’t style over substance!

Always wanted to stay here given the reviews so popped in for lunch when visiting Rye. Food was nice but expensive at just under £100 for 2 mains, 2 drinks and 2 coffees. Beware: they charge you £3.50 for tap water (hey it’s filtered!). Service was very friendly but the location is not what I envisaged. It’s on a busy road and to access the beach you have to cross said road and a large car park and then climb a steep sand dune. The only outdoor space at the hotel (apart from its car park) is a crowded terrace of outdoor tables and relaxed seating which must get very busy. Glad I didn’t stay at a cost of £500pn

We were warmly welcomed by Lindsey and her team recently when we visited as a romantic weekend for ourselves. Despite being late for our dinner reservation nothing was too much trouble and every accommodation was made. This theme continued throughout the weekend and we were able to thoroughly relax whether in the garden or in the snug. One particular area of note is the quality of the food and drink on offer. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner on two successive days and each of our meals was excellent. The breakfast consists of two courses with one being a selection of yogurt, granola and fruit to be followed by eggs, bacon or something similar. In the evening there's an enticing selection of fish, meat and other dishes available with some delicious puddings to complete the meal. All of the ingredients are locally sourced as is the vast majority of the wine list and you can taste the difference. In all areas we felt very well looked after and treated as welcome guests. This might be because this is an adults-only hotel, and we left our kids at home, but I couldn't possibly comment! Still our dog very much enjoyed her visit and all of the attention that she received. So that definitely provided the icing on the cake. We're looking forward to returning to The Gallivant in the future as we so much enjoyed being looked after and having the chance to swim in the sea from Camber Sands. You won't be disappointed if you make a booking.

Don’t book a meal online for families, it’s an adult only hotel, which is not clear on the website when you book a meal. We were offered to wait whilst they looked for somewhere we could sit out of the way ‘ But we are fully booked’ and ‘It is clear we are a family hotel’. Which it isn’t at all, and has now made for a difficult evening. Same service we’ve experienced everywhere since arriving, which is to say a mixed bag. Looks like a nice hotel.

The food was really really good. However, there was an early dinner (cheaper) menu that was advertised and I even made a note and called to make sure it was available. When we arrived we were seated and informed that they had stopped using that menu a week prior. This is pretty bad form as they clearly had a note on their system. It ended up being really delicious but expensive and we wouldn’t have chosen to eat there if we had known this as it was a bit outside our price range. Still worth a visit if it’s in your price range but that Post Beach menu is gone

The gallivant Delightful place next to the beach. Lovely staff. The food was wonderful. The room quaint and comfy with a door opening out to a lovely garden. We were very lucky with the weather and had two wonderful sunny days walking the dog on the beach and taking trips to Rye. Lots of things to do at and around the hotel. We will be back. Highly recommended. The Gallivant Hotel, located just a stone's throw away from the serene beach, is a true gem. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made our stay incredibly pleasant. The hotel’s ambiance is a perfect blend of coastal charm and modern luxury, making it an ideal retreat for those looking to unwind by the sea. The interior of the hotel is beautifully decorated, with cozy sitting areas, a well-stocked bar, and a delightful piano corner that adds a touch of elegance. The dining area is adorned with tasteful artwork and offers a relaxing atmosphere where we enjoyed some of the best meals we've had in a long time. The food, made with love and attention to detail, was absolutely delicious and showcased local ingredients. Our room was a haven of comfort, featuring a deeply comfortable bed and thoughtful amenities. The door opening out to the garden was a lovely touch, allowing us to enjoy the fresh sea breeze right from our room. The garden itself is a peaceful oasis, perfect for morning coffee or an evening drink. One of the highlights of our stay was the daily yoga and the mini Bamford Spa, which left us feeling revived and restored. The Gallivant Hotel's commitment to wellness is evident in their offerings, and it significantly enhanced our experience. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather during our stay, which made our beach walks and trips to the nearby town of Rye even more enjoyable. The hotel's proximity to the beach is a huge plus, especially for those traveling with pets, as we did. Our dog had a fantastic time running along the sandy shores. The Gallivant Hotel also stands out for its community and team culture. The team’s happiness and dedication to guest satisfaction are palpable, contributing to an overall atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. This humanistic approach is reflected in every aspect of the hotel, from the service to the thoughtful details throughout the property. For those looking for an adults-only boutique hotel experience, The Gallivant Hotel is a perfect choice. We were lucky to find a parking slot amongst some quite expensive cars. This indicated the fact that the customers had a few bob. We had an outside table booked but the tables were so close to one another we asked to be moved inside. This wasn't a problem and we had a really nice 4 seater offered to us. The service was efficient and the food good. Nothing to complain about here except that the steak knives weren't serated nor sharp enough. All together a pleasant experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Gallivant. On arrival, we were greeted by the receptionist (Jo I think). She was very welcoming and enthusiastic and took pleasure in explaining everything to us. The decor and general presentation of the hotel was superb: tasteful decoration and furnishings all around, culminating in a stunning room (Wight). We felt perfectly at home, with the beautiful surroundings adding to our feeling of 'being spoilt'. All other aspects of the hotel did not disappoint. Staff and service were all 'spot on'. We simply do not know why there are not more hotels like this. Is it that difficult to offer top quality in ambience, furnishings, art work, food - and so much more? Sadly, The Gallivant is the exception to the general rule. Others could take some lessons on 'how to do it'. Thank you. We will be returning.

Stay at the Gallivant This is a hotel I have wanted to stay at for a while. The stars aligned with the sun 🌞 to allow us the opportunity to book a last minute break on Wednesday 26th June. We were not disappointed 🙂 This is a wonderful boutique hotel just over the road from Camber Sands; away from the hustle and bustle of the beach offering a haven of tranquility and calm. We booked a Snug room as it was last minute. However, Snug doesn’t adequately describe how lovely it is. It is thoughtfully decorated to give the overall impression of peace; the colour scheme and wooden materials matching the rest of the hotel. The tasteful decor matches the wonderful garden outside! This garden is show-stopping.The plants and shingle make it a harmonious place to enjoy an evening drink or quiet read whilst taking in the last rays of sun. (This hotel is dog friendly as well). Our dinner was sublime. My partner started with oysters and I had torched mackerel. Our main was sharing catch of the day - Brill, cooked with fennel. It was delicious. For dessert we shared a choc cremeux. Breakfast was equally excellent. Thoughtfully started with a tray of goodies- freshly squeezed orange and ginger shot, yogurt with homemade granola, berry compote and fresh seasonal fruit. Delicious 😋 Followed by scrambled egg on Sourdough with spinach and mushrooms, my partner had a sausage in brioche as well. All finished with a wonderful cappuccino. But best of all was the service - from the start when I booked with Jo, all members of staff were extremely helpful. The attention to details; like providing towels and cooler bag for the beach. Refillable water for flasks and the turn down service in the evening. The Gallivant oozes caring, attention to detail and class. Thank you 🤩

We would like to congratulate you for creating a unique, relaxing and welcoming environment. It is credit to the hotel that all guests respect the ambience. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. There are two names we would like to mention; Jo greeted us with a genuine smile at check in, and guided us with few tips regarding the local area. Tiffany proved a perfect dinner host with excellent wine recommendations. On a slightly more negative note, we do feel that some of the evening meals did not match what was specified on the menu. The food, however, was very good. While understanding the ethos of rooms being kettle free, we did miss being able to make a cup of tea first thing in the morning! Thank you for providing a happy place which we would not hesitate to recommend.

We previously stayed at the Gallivant back in 2021 and really enjoyed our experience. Well, we enjoyed this stay even more than our last - I’m so pleased that 3 years since it’s still being superbly run - I don’t know what took us so long to come back! Fantastic greeting upon check-in, a pleasant surprise of being upgraded to the exact room we stayed in 3 years ago (Irish Sea), friendly customer service, beautiful interior, terrace and gardens, delicious food…and with the close proximity to the beach this might just be my favourite hotel in the entire UK. After a very sub-par experience at a hotel in Battle the night before, I’m so glad we treated ourselves to the Gallivant. We hope to be back to enjoy their hospitality when we stay in the area for our wedding next year!

The hotel itself is really lovely, I absolutely love the decor and I think the drinks and food on the beach offering is great. The location really is second to none. However for me the facilities are lacking, particularly in the room. I’d expect there to be tea and coffee available in the room as a minimum requirement or at least a telephone to phone through to reception to order some. This was something I was super disappointed about, we had a lovely terrace where it would have been great to have a coffee in the morning on. I don’t want to have to leave my room and go to the bar to get coffee, I either want it brought to me or available to make myself. I tried calling reception on my mobile but there was no answer. I would normally choose to stay in hotels with a mini bar and complimentary toiletries like toothbrushes, shower caps etc. For me the value for money just wasn’t there when I think about the cost and level of amenities in the room. The tea / sleep offering again was disappointing- I spent £565 on the gallivant complete and was charged an extra £35 for ribeye and given a £3 tea bag (being generous) for the “sleep set”. For that price I’d also expect a bath in the room. I’ve paid less for hotels with similarly amazing locations and been blown away far more by the offering. For me the gallivant just didn’t have the wow factor in the room. The team overall were excellent. The service was good, we were overcharged a couple of times but when we flagged it, it was rectified and dealt with well. I really wanted to love this place but until these issues are fixed I wouldn’t recommend to a friend or return myself.

There is so much to love at The Gallivant. Let’s start with the not so perfect : The Gallivant is not an imposing or grand residence, in a former life it was a motel. You can hear the road noise as it motors past. Luxury Garden Rooms contain roll top baths and subsequently tiny showers - personally I don’t like baths and would have preferred a large shower and additional space. The shower felt claustrophobic. Housekeeping - it could be better. I noticed dust and debris in and around the bottom of the shutters in the yoga studio whilst in a downward dog. The wooden floor in our bedroom should have been cleaner. More towels, more cotton wool and shower caps etc The Perfect : The atmosphere, The vibe, and The staff!! They are exceptional. Wonderful receptionists, bar staff, yoga practitioners and beauty therapists. There is so much love at The Gallivant, so much thought goes into your stay. Fluffy bath towels for the beach on hand, wellingtons, blankets and beach sundowners, you name it! Complimentary Wine O clock at 5.30 delicious local wines are served with useful descriptions. Honestly I could go on and on. Dogs are adored, welcomed not tolerated. From the moment we arrived we decompressed. In truth, General Manager's from several of the British Five Star Hotels should stay at The Gallivant, they would learn at lot. The Gallivant offers great value and I recommend anyone who is feeling a bit frazzled spend a night or two, you won’t regret it!

The food was really good but the service was poor. Several issues with not being able to get wines on time with our food, and lack of attention and awareness. Maybe having a celebrity chef ( John Torrode) in the private dining room was too much of a distraction for the staff? They also served me pickled walnuts with my cheese, which were not listed an the menu, knowing my partner had a nut allergy. So far from ideal. All in all a pleasant evening but not what we would have expected from a restaurant of this calibre. Although the waiting staff were lovely, it was interesting to hear the amount of times the staff were saying "sorry to keep you waIting", "sorry for the delay" to the tables in the restaurant.

We had a wonderful lunch at The Gallivant today. The food was fresh and interesting, the service was attentive, but not overly so, stylish interiors, but for us it was the garden that bought the biggest delight. It is probably designed by some garden luminary that I should be aware of, but it was a surprise to see such stylish and unusual planting in a hotel garden. Being able to wander around (even in the heat) before lunch and get plenty of inspiration to take home (so many plants I hadn’t seen before) made our visit extra special. We’ve decided to return each season using the changing gardens as an excuse for a special lunch.

There is a nice bar in the reception area. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, but it was a Tuesday. We struggled a bit to find something we fancied on the menu, so it would be nice if they had some more options. What we had was good, but it wouldn't have been anything we would typically order. I attended a wedding here at the weekend, and thought it was a very nice venue - the staff were friendly and fairly attentive, the food was delicious (although wasn't keen on the style of service, but that may have been a choice of the bride and groom as the meals were tapas style / shared plates which you had to serve yourself. Could also have been due to reduced staffing numbers due to covid perhaps?) Either way I thought the meals had been cooked and prepared to perfection, and I could see the staff taking care regarding those guests who had allergies/dislikes and discretely coming over to them to advise them of the alternatives that were being served. The annex where we were seated for the wedding breakfast, although had fans over some parts of some of the tables, it did not reach all of us, and we were all taking turns to escape outside for some cooler air, which was a bit of a shame. I chose not to stay over, as I had found an alternative hotel (The Owl) at a fraction of the cost which was local and convenient to walk back to as only a few minutes down the road. If I was in the area again, I would happily dine here.

We have been to 1 to 3 Michelin star restaurants globally which even by their platinum standard allow kids. We have been going to this restaurant Pre-covid but now they have simply lost our business. Just sad to hear of institutions which think children and families are a menace to the community. Unbelievable

After looking around at several restaurants in Camber we booked a table at the Gallivant for our anniversary treat. We were not to be disappointed. On arrival we were greeted by Lindsay who welcomed us and led us through to the lounge area for a pre dinner drink. The lounge area and central bar was very nicely furnished and comfortable. After a short while we were shown to our table which was within the lounge area and not in the main restaurant as we had our little dog with us. Charlie was given a bowl of water and was very settled under the table. We had the mussels and the cuttlefish dishes to start with which were both well seasoned and tasted great. For our main course we decided to share the wood grilled aged Angus porterhouse steak which we both agreed was the best cut of meat we had ever had. Absolutely delicious Throughout our meal we were asked if everything was ok and at the end Lindsay again engaged with us and wished us the rest of a good evening.

We live in Camber and invited two friends from Hastings, a town with many very good restaurant choices of its own which they use. But our friends were stunned by the decor - so familiar to ourselves -and could not stop commenting on it delightful style, furnishings and a wonderful central bar area. We were warmly greeted by our waitress who introduced herself as Anna who asked if we were comfortable and offered the drinks and brunch menus. The menu was varied, appetising and imaginative. Service was efficient and polite and we were checked upon but not obtrusively, sensitive our to chatter, catching up and gossip which was welcome. Our guests said to us it was a great visit and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, especially the presentation and quality of the food...exactly our own experience.

We booked the Gallivant for dinner during our honeymoon - thinking it would be the highlight - but we were rather disappointed. The menu prices suggested fine dining but the dishes served were more reflective of bistro food. Everything seemed to be charred, from the locally caught squid, buried in a bowl of beans, to the monkfish, served on the bone with a very average seafood sauce, and even the hispi cabbage which was quartered, charred and served on a side plate with a scattering of 'crumb' which sprayed onto the table as we tried to cut the cabbage from the stalk! The restaurant lacked atmosphere, not helped by the pianist in the bar, who plonked away the entire evening playing totally inappropriate music, more reminiscent of a late night lounge - could have really done without that! We skipped dessert and retired to the 'lounge' (even closer to the plonking pianist) for coffee - and had to shell out an extra £1.50 for a chocolate truffle to go with coffee. Most restaurants would surely have offered those complimentary?? I haven't even mentioned the outrageously prticed wine list - let's just say we settled for a pre-dinner cocktail and 1 glass of wine...

Hugely disappointing. This was a treat from my daughter. The meal was really poor, under seasoned lamb, not a hint of the taste of a sardine, to top it all the Monk fish was far from fresh and was returned. Even so it cost my daughter over a hundred pound! The chef who prepared our food was is not fit to work in a supposedly quality kitchen. All the hype is very misleading this is not a good restaurant. Avoid at all costs.

Why (oh why?) do we keep returning? Disappointed every time. And when we raise our issues in a kindly and balanced way, we are given empty promises and ignored on every level. I think being absolutely frozen, no fire and lukewarm (very tired) food for my Partners 73rd birthday added insult to injury. As a local Airbnb Host I’m finally forced to take my link (and recommendation) for the Gallivant off my platform. Buck your ideas up Gallivant before dissatisfaction spreads ever wider in the local community!!

This meal was to die for. We were dining as a group of four, so we we lucky enough to try a range of options on the menu! The highlights: pickled mussels, hispi cabbage, lamb chops (local Romney Marsh lamb), pork chops and monk fish (to share between 2). Plus, the desserts were to die for - I couldn't pick a favourite so I recommend trying all three: baked custard and poached rhubarb, dark chocolate mousse with coffee ice cream and the poached pear with pear sorbet. Can't wait for our next trip back.

The decor is excellent. We haven’t been for many years and the rebuild has been done very well. Comfortable lounge area, roaring fire and beautifully decorated for Christmas However the meal turned into a nightmare. We sat down at 1.15 and finally got our staters at 2.30 pm. One soup was cold and had to be sent back, one starter forgotten altogether. I still can’t work out why the service was so bad. There were plenty of staff milling around and hardly anyone else in the restaurant. The food was OK. The menu makes you feel you are going to get something unusual but it is just flamboyant descriptions for standard dishes. It was pretty obvious by the end of the meal that we were not impressed, they knocked the missing starter off the bill but an apology from whoever is on charge would have gone a long way. The American waitress did a lot of eye rolling. Such a shame as it is a lovely venue and we are really not difficult to please. In fact we didn’t knock the service off the bill, which we should have done. It wouldn’t take much to make this place outstanding. Before the rebuild the service was always friendly and efficient

We had high hopes for lunch with friends in what we had heard was a stylish and good boutique hotel with a fine restaurant. The style is there, but service confused and food possibly the worst we have eaten ever, certainly this year. My overcooked fish floated in a cold mess of tomatoes, my partners ribeye (at £28) meant to be medium, was a bloody, gristle and sinew filled shocker. Admittedly, after a complaint the ribeye was replaced with a better serving, but the original should never have been allowed to leave the kitchen and by the time the second arrived we had all finished eating. The dining room was empty and one wondered if the chef had gone home, leaving the pot washer to cook! A spoilt afternoon, never to be repeated.

Visited on the evening of 28th August and first impressions good, a small restaurant with nice bright decor, didn’t appear very busy. Waited fifteen minutes for somebody to come to our table and we were asked if we were ready to order. I said we would like to order some drinks, which we then waited another fifteen minutes for. Starters and main course were very good, desserts were good but presentation was bland. We ordered a second round of drinks which never came, asked again and about fifteen minutes later they finally arrived.

We went with high expectations and were disappointed. Our welcome was friendly and the bar area well appointed and attractive. But the service was amateur - the carafe of white wine for the first course arrived after we had eaten it. Our waitress had to check the name of the red three times and then could not find it. The wine waiter solved the puzzle. It was good ,but expensive for what it was.

We stopped here with our family to have breakfast. There are no signs to alert you that families are not welcome, however, upon requesting a table the waiter demanded to know how old my son was. I was quite taken aback and told him he was 9, at which point he said, “we don’t accept children under 10”. I explained he would be 10 later this month. There were no other people dining and the weather was fair, so we were surprised that he had made such an issue for 2 weeks.

It was to be the end of a weekend in London for RHS Chelsea lunch at the Gallivant. I had read all about it in a glossy magazine but..... what a shame...... what a disappointment. Such lovely local produce, the beef was outstanding but sadly was supported by inefficient staff who were clearly flailing around unsupported by a team and more importantly by the lack of a team manager. It wasn’t over busy even on bank holiday weekend but yet It took them an hour and a half to serve two courses and two bottles of water.

Lovely little pub, nice food, great service. Not a gastro pub though and location is only convenient if you're driving or are based somewhere really local. Food was good, Guiness not so good (watery and way more bitter than usual), wine was lovely. Nice play area to keep the kids entertained.

Went especially for my sons birthday. Ordered a roast that we were all looks forward to and it was awful:( The chicken looked liked it was microwaved, so rubbery I put it in my bag to give to my dig. Even then I couldnt cut it without scissors in the end ! Everything looked limp and just nit nice . Didn't eat mine and left hungry . Just sad for my son as he was looking forward to it. I explained to the bar manager the situation as he insisted I told him what was wrong with the food , in front of other customers. He apologised and understood the issue . Won't ever go back
