We went to Havester in Gidea Park, Romford. The food...dinner and dessert was amazing, the atmosphere was 10/10 and the staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning. Our server Kimberley was really nice and attentive even though they were super busy.

Not family friendly. We popped in for an early dinner to avoid the pub being too busy. We have 2 kids, one requiring a high chair. Unfortunately, we were told by the pub they only have 3 high chairs and they said they couldn't do anything if they were being used. We also overheard the bar staff telling another staff member to throw away one high chair as it was broken! Very unfriendly feeling pub for families. Shame, as the pub is situated in a very family community area.

An absolute gem of a pub! The staff are incredible; so warm and welcoming, making us feel like family every time we visit. As a parent, I’m quite picky about where I take my child, but this place is fantastic—family-friendly with a great atmosphere. It’s rare to find somewhere that ticks all the boxes for quality food, great service, and a welcoming vibe, but this pub does it effortlessly. Highly recommend!

Es un pub ideal para usar si vas a asistir a un evento en The Roundhouse. Personal amable y eficiente. Limpio pub recientemente reformado con mucha historia. Encantador pub y tuvimos una maravillosa cena de pastel y puré. Nos topamos con una banda que se preparaba para tocar algunas canciones... ¡eran muy buenas!

Nos reunimos con unos amigos en el Astronomo para almorzar, no es nuestra primera vez. Hay un montón de opciones en la zona, pero este pub es especial, increíble elección de comida bien cocinada para todos los gustos. Un gran saludo al manager Lorenzo y su equipo, es el anfitrión perfecto, siempre a mano con una sonrisa en la cara. No puedo esperar a nuestra próxima visita en primavera.

food is good but is being let down by horrible staff and rude management. Ordered last many months ago and the experience was so bad that this is me righting a bad review months later. Absolute clueless ignorant people working there who don't have the slightest or simply don't care about what the customer wants or thinks of them or if they care about repeat business.
