De Burgh Arms in Hillingdon

We had a really good meal at S and E at the De Burgh. The helpful staff talked us through the North Indian specialities and all the food was delicious.

I love this pub, it's a friendly vibe, has good beer, amazing indian food and the staff are lovely! i've been a couple of times now and will be back again, it's our favourite pub in the area. It also has a pool table and there's always good music

nice - one of the curries was very good - this is a historic place - where Genevieve wasa filmed - one curry was just about ok - the other was very good - very close to West Drayton station which was a bonus

Had a mixed grill and chilli chicken. Chilli chicken was ok

Awful place with rude b... at the bar.. I got in after spending two hours on the public bus as the traffic was horrible. The awful b shouted at and stopping me from using a loo. I wish her to be in the same situation. I knew this place is gross but she only proved that this place should be closed down and staff like her should be made unemployed.

A pub with delicious Indian food. Beer is less IPA. We have a rich menu of delicious Indian food such as Chickin Tikka and Ramb Chops.

Me and my coworkers went for a curry and it was really good. We were all very pleased by the food, the quality and the portions were excellent. Also very lovely woman who welcomed us and gave great service. Thank you! (Also there was three of us who are veggies and there are alot of options)

The pub is very run down and the prices are extortionate take a hard hat with you as the building falling down

First time in the area. Just thought I’d give it a go. Not disappointed in the slightest I love spice food and this was perfect. Great pub, great food. Would recommend.

This is most adorable mix of traditional English pub atmosphere and drinks and delicious Indian menu! I tasted 5 different menu items and all were fantastic. Can’t wait to come back.

Dirty No ice - same issue for 3 months now. Mice in the restaurant. Toilets are never cleaned! Extremely overpriced. Staff rude and uninviting. Anyone visiting will get ill due to the lack of hygiene in there. Place needs pulling down

Had been going here for some time with my crowd but owners took offence to us having an opinion on how there prices are high, I'd say avoid like the plague lease holders are rude judgemental and like to share gossip on there customers with other customers. Toilets are filthy and the pub needs a good clean especially for the price of drinks an food here. Run down and shabby and opinionated staff does not make for a good a place to go hence we had been avoiding place for a while I've seen them turn people away very rudely and heard they charged a person a pound for use of toilet Disgusting pub run a mile worse pub in west drayton honestly the other side of train Bridge is a better pub where you will get better service and attitude

5 stars great customer service from suki and Edith I cannot highly recommend enough the best place in west drayton if you fancy some Indian food also pints are unbelievable I highly recommend

Traditional local pub, drinks were cold, people friendly, toilets need attention.

Bar prices were a tad high but the food made it well worth it .... the food and service was of such a high quality it puts the local restaurants to shame

Very friendly and efficient couple run this establishment helped by affable and enthusiastic staff. The bar reminds me of the famous CHEERS bar in Boston USA - the bar where every body knows your name! Highly recommended....

Good Pub. Cheap 🍺🍺!! Friendly Staff. Food available. Free WiFi. TV. Pool table. Outside Smoking area. Ideal place to stop for a Pint if your waiting for your train or moored up on the canal,only a few minutes walk.

Polite staff, good beer and reasonably priced, will return.

Met the most kind people. We were outside trying to navigate travel, when we were invited in and helped to get a cab. We so appreciated the kindness these strangers showed us.

Bar staff aren't the most friendly, the beer was awful, people call it a dump and it's clear to see why

First time there I only popped out and I ended up being out out 😂 Absolutely loved the place from the moment I walked in. It has everything you could possibly want from a pub. The most important thing for me is feeling comfortable and I felt that the moment I walked in. They have a pool table, juke box, serve hot food and a live band every month. The staff are friendly and welcoming and so were the customers. I went in the afternoon and ended up staying until the final bell. Will definitely be going back but next time I'll actually be going out out 😊

The food in this place is excellent. The Biriyani is the best I’ve had in London for £5. Can’t get better, must try !

Great food.. Cheap drinks.. But the service is racist.... The bartenders think they own the pub rather than listening to their owners... Guys pick up humanity in thus pub.... Local resident and frequent visitor... Disgusted with the new staff...

New management focused on a nice pub + kitchen environment. Tried the Lamb Chops, XL portion by the way, with a nice Scenic Ridge Shiraz. Price/quality is 5 stars. The pub has some of the friendliest faces around combined with a very loose and peaceful crowd. All that's left now is the live music experience,being Friday, which usually is about good old Rock and Blues .

Went there with my husband to play pool and to have a nice evening. Out of nowhere he got attacked by another customer. The management did not care and did not help my husband who was bleeding. In the end the guy who attacked my husband was just send out even after my request to call the police and waiting for them to arrive. Very poor management, overwhelmed with this pub, does not care for their customers. Reported the management to the police. Please don't go there. No peaceful environment!

Talk about cleaniness. I’m kicking my self to why I got off at West Drayton too early to get a drink at this place. Place is shambles. Dirty seats dirty deco. Owner dont care, he serves you for your mixers on one mixer charge with all custom. Some excuse sorry my dasher ain’t working so I’m using the same can in the fridge. My double whiskey drink was flat. As he must’ve used the same can for the last 4-5 drinks.

Enjoying my drink 🍹 sitting outside in the fresh air, on this fairly hot summer - 26 Celsius - Friday afternoon. The music is very loud. The area outside can do with some seats cleaning or may be a sort of green instead of asphalt. Staff are good.

How on earth are places like this still operating in 2016. Not sure I have ever been in such a dirty pub in my life. From the gaffer taped carpets to revolting toilets this place takes filthy to another level so how the council allows food to be served here I really don't know but how anyone could eat here leaves me speechless

The pub is ok for the guys to congregate and have a few but not the sort of place to take the wife or girlfriend for an evenings socialising.

Compare the view of the de Burgh Arms from stills of the 1953 film Genevieve with just a couple of photos taken on my visit earlier this month. Look at the door - "Toilets are for the use of customer' only" (Why the apostrophe?), "No dogs allowed" (I would prefer the company of dogs), "No food and drinks allowed from outside" (That's understood in any bar or restaurant - there's no need for a sign), "Toilets are for the use of customers only" (Again! How many naff signs do you want?), "Management reserve the right to refuse entry/serve without giving a reason" (I would count it as a badge of honour to be refused service here) and another, illegible from the photo, long-winded notice with what looks like threatening language (Perhaps readers will be able to make it out from the photo).So, being a miserable git of the first order, I decided to test the water. "May I use your toilet?". The response ... "If you are wanting to use the toilet, that will be £1.50"! These must be the most expensive toilets in Britain so I was expecting rotating, self-cleaning toilet seats, as found on the continent, along with other luxurious odds and sods. Nothing of the sort, just a bog standard, dirty lavatory (as I rather expected).And perhaps the "Rooms from £20" and the "Sunday roast - £5" (see photo) are bargains but I would imagine not. In life, in general, you get what you pay for and I dread to think what horrors the animal products on offer here (or rather the animals themselves) have suffered.

Enjoying my drink ( Fosters no head ) on this relatively sunny afternoon while waiting for the Slovenia : England football game at 19:45. Staff and the manager / owner are very good as usual.

Enjoying our drinks on this nice Summer Sunday fresh evening ( not very hot like ) I'm thought that the minimum charge for credit card payment is £10. The barman was a gentleman , he just carved me for what we drank. Recommended.

Me encuentro con mi amigo esta noche para tomar una copa y elegimos el este lugar porque era una ubicación conveniente. Fui dentro y sentó un minuto antes de usar el baño. Yo estaba parado por el gerente, estoy suponiendo que exigía compro una bebida antes de usar el baño. Me dijo que estaba esperando a que mi amigo antes de empezar comprar rondas y de mala gana, me dejaron ir. Mi amigo estaba tomando el autobús y familiarizarse con el lugar y era un poco tarde en llegar. Me llamaron de nuevo para las direcciones y traté de salir, así que podía verlos/describir el lugar mejor, pero me habían encerrado dentro y me señaló el jardín de la cerveza. Que diría cerró la puerta en mí. No podía ver mucho desde allí, así que volví a ir al frente de nuevo. Mientras estoy en el teléfono, el mismo hombre viene y me dice que quiere dejar porque no quiero comprar una bebida. Que no voy a volver. Todavía estoy en el teléfono y Estoy indignado con esto, mi amigo todo. audiencia Él abre la puerta y me dice, simplemente ve a salir. Miro a la chica detrás de él y preguntar si él es serio, con varios patrones dentro del bar. Me dijo que este era terrible servicio al cliente y él me dijo que "sólo callaba. Salir y no regresar"
