Nice pub right next to magistrate court

Had breakfast here and it was lovely! Unlimited drinks, love the place as it was quiet around 9am.

The guy said he's a manager but so rude, any cleaning lady has better customer service skills then him. I don't drink my drink with lime which gets put in the bottle. Most of it is always sticking out anyway so it's easily removed. This was exactly the case in 3 rounds of drinks we had today. When the 4th round arrived, lime was pushed in all the way. When I asked "the manager " for one without lime he declined and said the lime SLIPPED inside the bottle???? Would love to see that happening. Bet a clean glove as per health and safety standards wasn't used either. Pleading with him was unfortunately fruitless. He took our drinks and said he'll process refund. The lady behind the bar was clearly trained by "the manager " as she was equally as unapproachable. Only highlight was the poor new guy who was helpful and knew how to interact with customers.

Is a lovely wetherspoons. The food is fresh and nice. The atmosphere is great. The service is really good. Actually is the best wetherspoons in london the people who work there they really care about each guest. Is a clean place and fast food service. Kids friendly.

Great space and friendly staff! So many seats and nice vibes! Recently been refurbished and keeps the classic Spoons vibes but very nice and well kept!

Decent pint had here, served quickly and politely and the brew tasted good.

It's cheap but it's a decent enough pint and plenty to choose from.

Busy place....beer a bit of hit and miss mostly okay....glass stock needs some renovate... nucleated bottled beer glass wasn't working....too much rinse aid building up perhaps........ Still visit occasionally as I am brand loyal to spoons 🙂

Food was cold when arrived. No drinks turned up after 40 minutes. When went to bar to retrieve drinks they had been sitting there for a while as ice was almost melted. Poorly run and very disappointed.

Usually a lively atmosphere with the price advantage of a Wetherspoon pub. The food is good and reasonably priced. The only downside is the poor service. The bar is very often undermanned, leading to a lengthy wait to be served. Ordering via the Wetherspoon app used to be the easier option because priority was given to online orders. At the time of writing in March 2024 though this seems no longer to be the case. Even when only a handful of customers are waiting at the bar, there can be a 10 minute plus wait for drinks ordered via the app.

Prices are relatively cheaper than other pubs. Eat and drink...

Standard weatherspoons had a pizza and the base was still doughy

We have been here many times and the food has always been good. I had to write this review as I ordered lemon and herb chicken, coleslaw and chips. Firstly chips were warm and others were cold but that was not the worst I cut open my chicken and it was raw. I didn't eat it and when the manager came to clear the plates I showed him my chicken. I explained I didn't want a refund I just wanted to bring it to his attention. He then said NEXT TIME WHEN I ORDER ASK FOR IT TO BE CRISPY. Can you believe it!! The chicken was raw. So it'skay to eat it raw but make sure it's crispy is he joking? Won't be going there again.

A place where you can relax and have your good meals.

Have been going there for lunch every 2 weeks with my brother & always been happy with the value for money & quality of the food & drinks. We have recently started to notice the quality and quantity of some dishes going down hill & this time I had american double burger & it was the worst burger I have ever had anywhere, shame

Cheap and cheerful. Good deals on meals including a drink. For the price you can't go wrong!

I walked into the pub and was blocked from getting to the bar by three men engaged in robust discussion. I have been known to use profanity on occasion but it would need to be a lot more incentivised than cheap near out of date beer for me to remain. YMMV

Good cheap yet tidy pub. Rather noisy in the busy nights and can get rowdy on the weekends but keeps the Wetherspoon formula intact.

Can't beat the prices. Carpets finally been changed(long time since I've been in) £5 something for ale and lager, what more is there to say. 🍻

It's a Weatherspoons so you get what you pay for. Cheap drinks and decent service. Average or below average food. Okay crowds. Location close to station and in town center. Nothing more to say.

Good & nice pub, service was good, but now needs attention. When you ask to use the disabled bathroom they find it as a very difficult thing to do.

Slightly disappointed that Management did not reprimanded a customer who was using foul language to someone else when a young child was there with her parents. This happened on the 29th December 2023 at about 9.45am.

Don't go here if you want to take your friends & family to a friendly pub! Party of 5 & majority work in hospitality. 3 of us live in Uxbridge & took our visiting friends there after dinner for a quick, cheapish drink. Embarrassed at how we were spoken to when pointing out that mixer in 2 x gins was not right ehich it wasnt. Condescending & rude doesn't even do justice to what happened. Shame on you!

We never got all our food, items from order were missing and when enquired the waiter started arguing over having already send all the items. After 20 mins of arguing, they said they will send the remaining food, well, never received it. A portion of chips hadn't arrived so when we asked for the chips, they pointed at someone else's chips at the table and said they have those left on the table just eat those. With a table of 12 and having spent plenty on food and drink, they decided to argue over 20 mins for a portion of chips. In the end one person who had only ordered chips to eat ended up walking out without having any food at all. The staff was extremely rude including the manager/supervisor themselves.

We had a very bad experience there. The staff are so rude. We were 12 people and ordered online using the QR code on the menu. We have asked them several times for our food and after more than 1 hour they guy told us wait I only have two hands! They didn't bring one of our chips and after we have told them 6 times the same guy said you have already ate it!! He pointed at the remaining of another chips on the table and said if you want more you can have that! They are so rude. Finally they didn't bring the chips although we have paid for it! Never going there again!

This place could make a great joke

Mixed grill portions were tiny. Food is generally good value for money. Tables need cleaning

Sat in man crèche with grandson for a couple of hours. Very pleasant experience.

this pub ha shad many managers over its time but in recent times there seems to be a culture of not admitting people after a certain time,even if that is up to two hours before closing.when the place is open until 1am and orders can be placed right up to then,it doesnt make sense to A stop letting people in at 11pm and B telling people who have just purchased drinks that they have just ten minutes to drink them.they are forgetting that they are there to make money,not alienate custom

Dose get busy. Had problems in the kitchen but still managed to offer a limited menu. Excellent staff, food and beers.

The chips taste like genghis khan’s fart and what I imagine would be reminiscent of his body count also.Especially as you can count as many flies as you have chips on your plate. Don’t come if you’re looking for good food. Atmosphere is alright… if you like individuals as bland as the food.

Bizarrely no tartar sauce sachets were to be had anywhere in the pub and the mayonnaise had also all run out (both were due in the next delivery). The duty manager however seemed to take pity on us and dutifully made sure the chef's last mayo bottle was retrieved from the kitchen for us. We had fish and chips and both were cooked to perfection. Like all Wetherspoons it does the annoying thing of showing pump clips of beers that have run out.

Omg, it’s pre Covid since I was last in this shabby run down Spoons, and it’s hard to believe how far it has gone downhill since then. Main problem is the cask ales, mostly either nonexistent or flat - in CAMRA terms this is the bottom of the barrel. Customers are dodgy and one aggressive moron is asked to leave while we are there. But another massive problem is the gents toilets, awash with liquid, and a single yellow warning sign floating above the sea of liquid. The only small saving grace is that some of the staff (not all) are friendly and helpful. This pub seems to be massively understaffed, and maybe just one additional staff member could help solve some of the many problems which this sadly neglected pub has?!! It feels like it could be an ok pub, just needs some TLC and some support from the behemoth Wetherspoon bureaucracy?!!

It's a wheatherspoons , we stopped for breakfast and a couple of drinks . Inexpensive and enjoyable but I do wish for Wheatherspoons to be able to deliver hot fried eggs with breakfast .

Everything is cheap here! They could pay more attention to the order that people are served in though. This problem reduces my visits and ends them immediately when it happens.

Great traditional medium sized pub with good quality food and very reasonable pricing, well pretty cheap to be honest. Can get noisy and rowdy at times. During busy times you will struggle to find a table. Drinks are excellent with wide range.

i usually have really good things to say about this pub but yesterday i was really let down i was sitting out side the pub with my group of mates smoking a cigarette and one of the new mangers bared me for no reason first she said i was drunk then she decided to change her mind and said i was smoking weed when i was not im really disappointed with how the pubs getting ran

Ran out of serviettes had to wait for food,which was only average Typical southern beer flat as a fart and tasteless .

All of the staff are very friendly and helpful

My recent visit to Wetherspoons left much to be desired. I opted for their traditional breakfast, hoping for a satisfying start to my day. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of my expectations. The eggs served with the breakfast were disappointingly soggy, lacking the desired texture and taste. It was a letdown, as a well-prepared egg can make a significant difference in the overall enjoyment of a breakfast meal. Adding to the disappointment was the lack of cups for hot beverages. It's surprising that a well-established establishment like Wetherspoons would run out of cups, leaving patrons with no choice but to use takeaway paper cups. Not only did this compromise the experience, but it also contributed to unnecessary waste, which I found disheartening. On a positive note, the ambiance and service were acceptable, and the staff was friendly. However, these positives were overshadowed by the culinary and service shortcomings. In the future, I hope Wetherspoons addresses these issues to maintain their reputation as a reliable choice for a decent meal and service. Until then, I might think twice before returning for another meal. There are other dining options in the area that may offer a more satisfying experience overall.

Really absurdely great value. The food was MUCH better than what I expected for the price. I had steak, my companion had boneless chicken. None of it was "fine cuisine". But it was properly cooked food (steak not overcooked) with very decent quality at a ridiculously cheap price.

Decent Wetherspoon’s pub near Uxbridge Station. Six cask ales on handpump when I visited. A few tables outside. The building the pub occupies was Pearson’s menswear shop. The firm was originally founded as a tailor’s, hence the reference in the name to good yarn.

my sons took me there for fathers day , food very good, worthingtons very good, dead mans finger pinapple rum surprisingly good

Typical Spoons, can't fault the service, didn't try the food, just lacks in atmosphere. Used to be the place to go Friday/Saturday when I was growing up! Uxbridge has many more pubs with a much better atmosphere the only thing that should pulk you to spoons is the prices.

Did not stay as usual for Watford branch understaffed

The service was amazing, the food was lovely but was so put off by the large amount of fruit flies in the dining area, we even moved tables but still had the same problem. Hopefully its a short term problem they can get fixed.

Typical spoons, not far from the station

Great staff. Food is reasonably priced and a decent number of tables. But the food is VERY average - like the toast isn't toasted much, the chips are flabby and the plates are cold, so the food cools quickly.
