Astro Cafe in Hillingdon

Exceeded every expectation, came here for breakfast during my first time solo travelling and was greeted very warmly. The food was delicious and perfectly priced

The american pancakes were amazing, however the vegan breakfast was very dissapointing, half the plate was sweet potato and there was only 1 small veggie sausage

Came here twice already, really loving it. The portion is great for the price.

What an amazing find. Fantastic food, wonderful service, nothing was too much trouble. The American pancakes were delicious. A must visit if you are in Bethnal Green.

Great food and Chat with Friends

One of the better cafes in the area. Their food is delicious and looks pleasing too. They make any changes for the breakfasts. Eggs are perfectly cooked. Hash browns are lush. I love that they include some fruit with the breakfast. The only downside was that the pancakes are mediocre, as they are quite dry and I would expect them to be more moist. Therefore, I usually pick options without the pancakes.

The food was incredible: ingredients, presentation, and portion size amazing, all for a reasonable price. Coffee was excellent as well! Highly recommend.

This was highly recommended by the coffee shop next to the yotel (The Beehive), and i can see why! Lovely atmosphere, great food, just an excellent place to get your day going. Can definitely recommend the french toast, but honestly, everything here looked so good, it was such a hard choice xD

This cafe was absolutely amazing!! I am visiting from America, and out of all the restaurants I ate at, this one is one of my favorites! The food was delicious and prepared beautifully. The pictures are exactly how the food looks. The staff was incredibly accommodating to allergies and were very friendly. The cafe also has lovely atmosphere! I would 100% come back here and highly recommend!

This is the BEST place for brunch! I am visiting from the US and this is by far my favorite place on my trip. The portions are huge and well worth the price. Our server was super sweet and accommodated everything we needed!

The food here is absolutely divine even down to the toast! The staff as well are absolutely lovely, especially the lady who served me and my brother, she was so warm and welcoming and as I'm not a fan of tea and coffee she brought me a large orange juice rather than the small glass that came with breakfast. I really haven't had such a lovely breakfast in a long time and I can't wait to pop down London to visit my brother and make him take me for food here again haha.

We came here on a Sunday morning as a "second choice" but soon realised how lucky we were! Astro café has a great menu to choose from and the service is very attentive and super friendly. I had a very tasty vegetarian breakfast which I could hardly finish because the portions there are generous (there were three poached eggs on my plate!). I also enjoyed the atmosphere and will certainly come back to try their scrumptious looking "crodos".

Tourists looking for somewhere for breakfast rather than the travelodge we were staying at. Was not disappointed in the quality of the food , all four breakfasts were different off the menu and were absolutely delicious!

Couldn’t recommend this cafe more!!! We came here for lunch and got the lunch menu of the day. 1 main, 2 sides, a drink, coffee and desert for only €11.50. The food was amazing, parmigeno was delicious. Such beautiful and lovely staff. They went out of their way to explain the menu in English and make sure we understood. Very hospitable and lovely. Chose this place on a whim whilst staying nearby whilst visiting London, their food is delicious and the best coffee I have tried whilst in London (I am usually a coffee snob as we have such good coffee in Australia!). Will be going back again for my morning coffee before I leave London!

Had an iced latte with oat milk and vanilla syrup. It was too watery and didn’t have good flavour. The servers were friendly and their food looks good so I may try it in the future

Whilst visiting London my boyfriend and I were walking down Bethnal Green High Street desperately trying to find somewhere to grab a bite to eat and stumbled across the Astro Cafe. What a great find! Staff were friendly and polite, food was great and such a lovely place inside. Thank you for helping two very hungry people!

Located a stones throw away from Bethnal Green station, Astro Cafe are serving up some of the best breakfast fare you'll come across in London. The food is freshly cooked to order, with the giant fluffy pancakes being the highlight of the menu, the service was impeccable and the vibe was super chilled, despite every table being full. At no point did we feel rushed and were allowed to savour every bite of our delicious meals. Would definitely recommend visiting before they blow up on social media, which will no doubt happen very soon.

Great experience we are French tourists as a couple the prices were very reasonable £14 the menu with a brunch with lots of things it gave me good English memories I loved it and the staff were super nice the opening hours are great Also practical it was very close to our accommodation we loved coming here many mornings we will come back as soon as we return to London!

The full english is such a good deal as it comes with coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Cute little cafe and the staff were nice. However, to get to the toilet you need to go through the kitchen which was a bit strange and a little unhygienic??

10/10 brunch spot near Bethnal Green. Huge selection of sweet and savoury breakkies - the classics to Turkish twists and pancakes/French toast. We had the medi breeze and the American pancakes. Love that they come with a lil pot of fruit and the sweet/savoury pancake combo is a winner for me. Tried to come a few weeks ago and the queue was out the door but tried today and was plenty of tables (Saturday circa 12pm) so think just depends on the day! Highly recommend

I visited here for breakfast with my parents visiting from up North and we all loved it. 1 of the best brekies in London and that’s a bold statement :) The atmosphere is relaxed, the lady running the place is super friendly and service is speedy. All ingredients on the full English were such good quality and it’s a good deal because you get a coffee + OJ with the brekie. Would definitely recommend.

The menue in the Astro Café gives a large variety of different dishes, either porridge, pancakes, sandwiches or classical English breakfast. Coffee and coffee specialties are tasteful, oat milk as alternative available. Smoothies and fresh juices are freshly and yummie. The service is nice and courteous. You have a roof window which lights up the room.

Food was good/ok but the fried egg was a bit overdone , the cherry tomatoes were still hard , the sausage and bacon were OK.mushrooms were perfect ! Coffee was superb as was the freshly squeezed orange juice .

We also had a variety of fresh squeezed juice, espresso, American and chai tea. The home cooking is just amazing - even halal. The service fantastic!!!! Highly recommend. Breakfast is important for us, and I genuinely think this place couldn’t be better! Each and every item on your plate is fresh and delicious. There is a perfect harmony between tastes. The portion sizes are extremely generous, and each plate looks like a piece of art. We tried the Veggie plate and Pancakes, and honestly, we will definitely return to try everything on the menu. Everything looks delish and the staff is super friendly.

Searching for a breakfast cafe near to bethnal Green tube & came across this cafe which was rated very highly. It didn't disappoint. Despite being busy, we got a table & food came promptly. A great mix of breakfast/ brunch options. My pancake breakfast was massive, don't think I'll need to eat all day ☺️

Incredible place. I used to live in Bethnal Green before and used to visit this place once or twice a month. Now I live far away, but I still bring all of my friends here. Excellent service as always. Deffo recommend! I always used to get Full Breakfast, but tried American Style this time and was left amazed.

The quaint little café, just five minutes away from Bethel green station. The perfect stop off before you head out for exploration of the young V&A The food is outstanding . Everything presented beautifully, and the taste is just as exquisite. Went this morning with my family of five, and everybody left satisfied :) Thoroughly suggest to anyone in the area
