10/10 brunch spot near Bethnal Green. Huge selection of sweet and savoury breakkies - the classics to Turkish twists and pancakes/French toast. We had the medi breeze and the American pancakes. Love that they come with a lil pot of fruit and the sweet/savoury pancake combo is a winner for me. Tried to come a few weeks ago and the queue was out the door but tried today and was plenty of tables (Saturday circa 12pm) so think just depends on the day! Highly recommend

The menue in the Astro Café gives a large variety of different dishes, either porridge, pancakes, sandwiches or classical English breakfast. Coffee and coffee specialties are tasteful, oat milk as alternative available. Smoothies and fresh juices are freshly and yummie. The service is nice and courteous. You have a roof window which lights up the room.

I visited here for breakfast with my parents visiting from up North and we all loved it. 1 of the best brekies in London and that’s a bold statement :) The atmosphere is relaxed, the lady running the place is super friendly and service is speedy. All ingredients on the full English were such good quality and it’s a good deal because you get a coffee + OJ with the brekie. Would definitely recommend.

Closes an hour before the time says. Change the closing time to when service stops, like every other restaurant in the world, idiots.

Food was good/ok but the fried egg was a bit overdone , the cherry tomatoes were still hard , the sausage and bacon were OK.mushrooms were perfect ! Coffee was superb as was the freshly squeezed orange juice .

Absolutely AMAZING service and best food we’ve ever had. The pancakes were so fluffy, French toast delicious, omelette very hardy, and avocado toast fantastic. We also had a variety of fresh squeezed juice, espresso, American and chai tea. The home cooking is just amazing - even halal. The service fantastic!!!! Highly recommend. Hands down best breakfast we’ve ever had !

Breakfast is important for us, and I genuinely think this place couldn’t be better! Each and every item on your plate is fresh and delicious. There is a perfect harmony between tastes. The portion sizes are extremely generous, and each plate looks like a piece of art. We tried the Veggie plate and Pancakes, and honestly, we will definitely return to try everything on the menu. Everything looks delish and the staff is super friendly.

Went because of the stunning reviews but was very disappointed. The food was excessively greasy. It's very weird that you've got to walk through the kitchen to go to the toilet, too.

Searching for a breakfast cafe near to bethnal Green tube & came across this cafe which was rated very highly. It didn't disappoint. Despite being busy, we got a table & food came promptly. A great mix of breakfast/ brunch options. My pancake breakfast was massive, don't think I'll need to eat all day ☺️

Incredible place. I used to live in Bethnal Green before and used to visit this place once or twice a month. Now I live far away, but I still bring all of my friends here. Excellent service as always. Deffo recommend! I always used to get Full Breakfast, but tried American Style this time and was left amazed.

It’s not very often that I give a venue 5 stars, but this restaurant truly deserves it. The food is great, the staff very kind and you get real quality for your money. We’ve actually been here multiple times during our stay in Shoreditch. If you’re looking for a great breakfast or lunch: this is your place to be!

Hands down best french toast I ever had! The staff are also so lovely and the cafe has such a nice cozy feel. Free WiFi available too. Definitely a hidden gem in Bethnal Green and will be coming back. 😊

The quaint little café, just five minutes away from Bethel green station. The perfect stop off before you head out for exploration of the young V&A The food is outstanding . Everything presented beautifully, and the taste is just as exquisite. Went this morning with my family of five, and everybody left satisfied :) Thoroughly suggest to anyone in the area

Found this little cafe just over the road from an air B&B myself and some friends were staying at for a gig and what and amazing little cafe it is, the breakfast was some of the best I have ever seen served, everything on your plate looks absolutely delicious and tastes it too the presentation of the food is excellent and it taste as good as it looks all decent quality items here I only wish I had taken more pictures of our groups food. The service here is also absolutely top notch its not often you can just turn up to a small place like this with a party of 8 and be welcomed with open arms. Cannot wait to come back.

Excellent full English breakfast which is good value and has fresh ingredients - comes with a coffee and orange juice and I swap out the mushroom for feta. Extremely busy on weekends but worth checking out

Astro is one of my favourite cafes in Bethnal Green. I’ve eaten in for brunch was which amazing and I regularly get coffee and pastries to go. They have the best almond croissants! Everyone working there is lovely. Would highly recommend!

Small venue but comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. Meals and snacks okay but a little pricey.

Amazing!! Absolute loved this place. Looks small from the outside but quite a few tables available. Staff is super friendly, fast service, food delicious, big portions and affordable. Option to swap one item on the dish for another one. Many vegetarian options available. I'll definitely be coming again to try the waffles. :) Only - is that you have to go through the kitchen to visit the bathrooms but otherwise amazing.

I discovered this café by chance and thought it looked really cute. Once we went inside we were surprised how much space this cafe has! It was so comfortable and we were treated so well! We had the loveliest brunch here and it’s a must have. It was very affordable and just so aesthetic and delicious 🥰 I would come here time and time again

Came in here by chance yesterday morning as I was passing, looking for somewhere to eat. Came back again this morning, and I'll be coming back every morning for the next week. It's the best breakfast place I've been to by a long way. I recommend the poached eggs and smashed avocado on sourdough with the spice chorizo. Great cafe. Great service.

I came in Astro cafe often or when I can , alone or with friends . And I Always find here very qualities food , nice portions, and I always leave the place full ! Hi guys and girls. Went with my Dad to this place ordered my breakfast which was 2 scrambled egg on toast ordered at 10.30 an by 10.55 still hadn't arrived! Absolutely appalling:( The waitress served 4 tables and completely forgot bout us. Do not go here 😒

SUBERB Cafe. As soon as you step in you are greeted kindly. Cosy and quaint, Astro Café is easily one of my favourite places to eat. Great portion sizes, loads of variety, lovely coffees (try their Oat Milk Mochas!!!) and delicious food. Staff are lovely, attentive and often remember your faces. 10/10.

My partner and I love this place, it has become our favorite brunch choice every weekend the service is superb, warm and friendly and the food is the best, great pancakes and brunch choices.

The coffee are always great quality and the orange juice is freshly squeezed. I always enjoy the American pancake and get it every time I’m here. The service is good and staff are always attentive even during busy periods.
