The best restaurants serving British food in London

Came here at lunchtime for something to eat. It wasn't busy but was left standing waiting to be seated. I could see lots of empty tables, I waited for 5 minutes but decided to leave as staff didn't appear to be interested.

Lovely experience. The outside is prettily landscaped with planters and great seating, live music and a pizza tent. The staff very friendly and welcoming, good service and good food. Very enjoyable evening.

Their espresso martini is a must. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and cosy set up

Lovely lunch at the Wet Fish Cafe. Limited fresh fish courses but food is of a high standard , delicious and very good value.One of our party has food allergies and the staff were so helpful and considerate in accommodating her. Thank you Wet Fish Cafe.

Mothers day was made so much easier for it was the first time without my mother 👩

Lovely pub. Excellent beer. Nice to see a proper London pub in the area, where you don't feel pressured to eat.

Came in Sunday night for quiz night. Had some lovely bar snacks before the quiz started and they were absolutely amazing. The staff were so friendly and really helpful, and it was a really enjoyable night. Can’t wait to come back next week.

We went very early, at 10am before a 12.15 kick off at Craven Cottage so there was no food on offer which we knew before we went and that was fine with us all. They did me a very reasonably priced Buck's Fizz which was delicious and perfect for the time of day.

Had a lovely time here on the roof terrace celebrating my birthday with colleagues. Our Brazilian waiter was very attentive and friendly. We had a beautiful space organised for us and everything went very smoothly

stopped for a quick bite and a pint on saturday . obviously was difficult to get a seat outside because of how nice the weather was but i really enjoyed their chilli fries (small portion for the price but filled a small hole) . also very friendly staff and ice cold pints :) (vegan friend found the vegan burger slightly disappointing but the cheeseburger was apparently a lot nicer)

A very beautiful restaurant, with excellent cuisine and a well-thought-out interior. I really like how they cook here and in general, relaxing here.
