Paneer masala bites were amazing - was not expecting it to be fresh paneer! + The chilli sauce was really tasty

Made the trip out here after hearing about their Masala Fish. Easy to get to on the Elizabeth line and only a few minutes walk from Seven Kings train station. Went for the smallest portion of Masala Fish Bites, they were incredible (and the biggest fish bites I've ever seen) Spicing was perfect with a decent amount of heat (they also give you some homemade chilli sauce) Will definitely be coming back to try some other menu options in the future.

Bought a large portion of chips from here. Never going back again. The chips smelled really bad. Oil must’ve been old. For the price, the quality is not good.

Their fish is terrible , they don’t serve proper cod. Food Hygeine council officers and Health safety team needs to pay them a visit .

Nice friendly place. Was taken here by my partner as she's always going on about the masala fish. And I have to say it was pretty good. Service was great, along with the banter we received. Thanks for the free pickled onion too brother 👍🏼

This place has gone down hill and more than the food i don't like the new people running this shop. The older man with the white beard was grabbing the fish and sausages in the oven with his hands re-arranging them and then wiping the oil on his top which made me feel really uncomfortable with regards to hygiene. Additionally, new fish was fried and just as they had finished cooking, instead of giving me the new fish they gave me an old one from the oven! Ridiculous.. What was the point of making me wait all that time? There are plenty of fast food options in the area now, this is at the bottom of the list.

Nice food.but the chip portion is very small even if you get a large. Whether I get a small or a large portion of chips it's exactly the same amount- Small!

The owner was shouting at his staff felt sorry for her . Made me feel very uncomfortable

The seven kings fish bar was absolutely brilliant and understood my order the food was cooked to perfection and was really happy with the food and the staff. 10/10 would definitely highly recommend them and order again.

Overcharge at till so be careful. Ordered masala bites meal but they missed my chips. Ordered separate cod and chips only to see after they took the money that could have got a meal including drink for less. If you can get the same products for less they should mention it rather than hope you don't notice. Won't be returning again so very short sighted on their part

The owner makes unnecessary jokes

Decided to try them instead of going to my usual fish and chips which isn’t that far from them. The saveloy was fried where its supposed to be boiled. This made it really dry and over cooked. The chips were also the same. Dry and over cooked. I heard good things about this place but either the place got worse or my friends taste buds are gone.

Was working close in the area First time visit for me got 6 wings and chips unbelievably good the wings was 11/10 Went back next day for 20 wings

Quick clean efficient service and a fantastic environment. The masala fish is brilliant and hugely recommend. The staff are very helpful too and even though it is very busy will take time to guide if needed. Do visit when you get the chance and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Cod taste was decent, cod size was a little less than average and pricey. Chips and vinegar was good. All let down by extra charge when paying with debit card. They ask you if paying with cash or card, then increase price for card.

I’m a regular here but won’t be going to this fish bar anymore. Since the new year, their prices have shot up drastically and I think this is really unfair. I usually get a fish wrap for £5 and today I was charged £6.40-that’s an increase of 28%. Sorry that’s far too much!

Always love the food here. Consistently good and definitely recommended. In my opinion this is the best one in the area. My son loves the fishcakes and I'm always a fan of fish and chips

I have been coming here for a long time. I usually order Masala Fish, paneer bites, chicken wings & large chips. The food is delicious. They only use good quality fresh fish & spice mix. This place can get a bit busy .Its ok for me as their food is worth the wait.

Terrible customer service from staff they sent me a wrong order and I told them I can bring it back if they can just give me what I paid for and they refused that even.

Placed an order over the phone. Was asked to come at 6.15pm. Arrived at 6.15pm still waiting at 6.41pm. Don't bother ringing through with an order, they just end up making it when you come. Pointless

Never eating here again!! Food poisoning all night with just ordering chips!!! Clearly there hygiene breaches in this place!!! Don't recommend!!!

This fish shop is always immaculately clean and the fish is always fried whilst you wait so you know it is fresh. Plus the owner is a lovely guy who is fair and when we had something we were not happy with he refunded us.

Sooooo Super Masala Fish Always

Good service, cooked fresh to order so you may have to wait. Chips were nice but a bit on the small side for a large portion. Only down side for us was they cook the masala fish in the same fryer as the normal fish which means it leaves a slightly chilli/spicy taste on the fish which isn't very nice, as if I wanted that I would have ordered masala fish. Shame this was what let them down...

Today I went to @sevenkingsfishbar They made me feel so so welcome and everyone was so friendly! They kindly gave me and my family, mushy peas, vegi nuggets, Southern fried fish bites, Chicken Nuggets, Fish Bites, Fresh Salad, Chips, Breaded Garlic Mushrooms, homemade- Masala Paneer & Jalapeño Bites, Masala fish bites, Masala vegetable bites, Curry Sauce, Chilli Sauce, a Mixed Shish Kebab & a Chilli Doner Kebab. All of the food was absolutely unbelievable and the flavours amazing. All of the masala items are homemade by @sevenkingsfishbar themselves. Their chilli sauce and curry sauce is also made by them too. There are 3 batters to choose from @sevenkingsfishbar Plain, Masala Batter & Southern Fried Coating. The chilli sauce comes with the whole masala bites range of fish, Veg and Paneer and you can have anything in masala batter if you ask them. Everything in @sevenkingsfishbar can either be ordered plain or in masala. Their burgers are also amazing and homemade ! Kebabs and Shish can be ordered plain or for an extra cost- spicy. This involves cooking them in fresh Thorka 🔥I seriously cannot fault any of @sevenkingsfishbar food it was all so delicious the batter of all the food was perfect, everything so fresh cooked in front of me & the masala range was something new to me and it’s definitely a winner for me. They didn’t get the good fish and chips 2021 award for nothing. I tried this place for the first time and was so pleased with the quality I'm adding a review here as well as on Just Eat! I had masala fish bites with chips and curry sauce and it was all so good. I ordered on a Friday and expected a long wait, but it arrived on time, and was hot and fresh. Well pleased.

Is this place Halal As there are many Muslims visiting these place And leaving Review Comment saw quite few items in menu which put question in mind if its halal, there's No sign outside as well 🤔 I won't be surprised if I ask for Halal Certificate

Food is good. But they can't get the order right and they take super long. Should order a day before and staff are all screaming and shouting but the food is good !

Went there last week having heard good things about it in the past few years. Not from the area so had to travel to pick up the food, and all I can say is I was not disappointed at all. Met whom I believe to be the owner - Dipsy - lovely bloke, great service and great banter. To top it off the food was amazing - fresh, and so beautifully spiced! Must try the masala bites (I had chicken) - can't beat it with some fresh chips. Will definitely be visiting again!

Y make a phone order if u make people wait the same time that they would have waited if they got to the shop I have pointed this out many time but they still keep on doing this on the plus side they have nice food .good friendly staff but please sort this out

Perfectly fried fresh fish to made to order only, you won't find an overcooked, dry or soggy fish here or a cod thats been festering. Simply the best fish and chips I have found in ilford. Granted you have to wait for your fish but they cook it when you ask for it. Its left to stand vertically just for the right time so the batter is crispy and your fish isn't dripping with oil. Haven't had fish like this since I lived in Hackney! Great job guys!!! 5 stars and more all the way!

It's my first time coming here and the owners are so polite, despite it being busy. The chips are fat and perfect! Some a little mushy (the way I love) and you can find the most delicious crunchy bits at the bottom 🤤. They make their own chilli sauce which was full of flavour. I'm yet to try more off the menu, but what I did try was delicious. This is the place to come for your cheat day!

Nice place for fish and chips, if you like spice, try the masala fish! Recommend the home made Chilli sauce. Note to the owners- the fish comes out very greasy compared to other chip shops, please try to reduce this, otherwise 5 star.
