I go to this place everytime, several times while I visit London, but this time it was very different. The food was great, but when the server approached me she smiled & all of her teeth were black. it certainly turned me off of my food & at the end, I found a hair in my food. Never ever again.

Excellent value for money and very good food (meat and vegetarian and vegan options) . Fixed price for a good meal and all-you-can-eat vegetables. Soft drinks are all-you-can-drink for a fixed price. And a good range of desserts (not part of the fixed-price menu).

Went here a couple of times recently, fairly quiet on weekday lunchtime but all good. Served quickly and food was hot and tasty. Reasonably priced lunch.

Spent whole evening chasing staff round the restaurant. Had finished first plate of food and had to go searching for her before we go our drinks. Waitress also had attitude. Huge . Also booked for special occasion (my 30th) and yet … nobody blinked an eye. Wouldn’t recommend.

As always, very friendly and welcoming here. From when I had a drink at the bar to later having my meal and my server, David, fantastic as always and very accommodating even though the restaurant was very short staffed that night and he was seeing to more guests than usual. Only a couple of minor things I can think of in terms of improvement. Firstly, it was very hot in the restaurant with no windows open or a feel of air conditioning, secondly, toilets could have been a bit cleaner. Overall though a very good and enjoyable visit.

Food is always great here. Service is good. Unfortunately, I had a lot of meat left over and was told you don't give out boxes to take it home. So it was wasted. It's such a shame.

Not sure what's changed but the service is just inept now. Left waiting ages for your bill then left to wait another age for the machine to be brought to you in order to pay. And then they refuse to honour the vouchers from their own companies apps. So you go there expecting to pay one price (because you have a voucher for bogof carvery- or whatever) and are presented with a much higher bill. Even though you asked how to use the voucher upon arrival. And were assured it was as simple as scanning it with your bill By this point though you are so bored/exhausted/late for whatever you have planned next you just pay so you can leave the place. Food quality is great though

Just what you require from a carvery

The food was excellent for a carvery, all cooked perfectly.

Just eaten in in the eagle Jade the waitress was amazing customer service was up there 💯 Has for front of house staff shocking rude when I arrived asked for help with my Wowcher didn’t have the time of day for me me 5 staff members only interested in there selfs Food was good chefs was very good over all all good front of house let them down First impression last

After standing at the entrance waiting to be seated for 5 mins while staff walked past, failing to acknowledge my existence, we were told there would be an hour wait to be seated despite there being dozens of free tables.

Very Poor Services the member of staff told us that we can sit in the comfortable area with the baby because the pram will be in the way and they put us right at the back in between the till and the main entrance for the chef and all the waitress to bring in and out food which was more dangerous for my seven month old baby As a family, we had to take turns to take him out from there because he couldn’t sleep because of the noise off the plates and the kitchen we couldn’t enjoy our meal the place that we have choice, he will be able to sleep and we could move the pram out of the way hopefully the staff will be training better, so this will not happen to a family with young kids.

There was a lovely range of food options, fresh eggs being brought out regularly and someone behind the deck offered to do me scrambled eggs fresh. I was really pleased with the staff and how helpful and attentive they were.

Amazing food as usual and the staff were amazing especially Kelly who went above and beyond during our stay she was brilliant 10 stars just for her.

Great food, very helpful staff! We will be returning and highly recommend.

Beautiful building in a great location, with plenty of parking. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The vegetable self servery was really clean, even though we went on a busy Sunday. The staff were really friendly and helpful without being intrusive. A delight to visit, I highly recommend.

It is so good. All the meats, vegetables and sauces are delicious and healty. I love the combination of vegetables and meats. The desserts are also nice too, especially crumble.

Staff were lovely food tasty an plenty of. Only upset was bill was put in front of us before we had finished drinks.

I order from this place every week and they always have dealt with my order fine all I asked for was to have no carrots and all veg and The lady in the phone was so disgustingly rude and told me I will get what I get and put the phone down on me I called bk and she was still rude this is the last time I ever order from this horrible staffed place

I am writing to say that I am beyond impressed with the staff at Snaresbrook Toby Carvery. I called on the 8th September after I had been forced to cancel my booking with the Enfield Toby Carvery as they were unable to accommodate my party's need to have a table in a step free area of their restaurant. Despite Snaresbrook being extremely busy (evident by the noise in the background), the staff member on the phone (unfortunately I did not get their name), explained the layout of the restaurant and how accessible it was, stating there was a ramp from the carpark and that the majority of the restaurant was on one level. I asked if they had any availability for that evening, and despite the late notice, they were able to accommodate us and made a note that we must be seated in the step free area of the restaurant. When we arrived, there was a bit of a wait for our table, but again, the staff were so helpful, ensuring those in my party with mobility difficulties had seats while they waited. Our server, Ronan (we think that's the right name - the lovely person from Belfast!), was amazing and very friendly. The food was also delicious. I was extremely impressed at the level of service, and I think my group will be moving my birthday dinner to this Toby Carvery from now on. Thank you to all the staff at Snaresbrook who saved my birthday dinner, ensuring I was able to spend my birthday dinner with my family and friends.

The service was very poor unfriendly today from one of the waiters the older woman 25th September 3pm couldn't be bothered to see everything is OK come to the bill slapped it on the table and walk of me and my colleague regular customer in this restaurant 3 or 4 time a month service is going down hill now salt pots need a good clean and half empty to we will be give this restaurant a big miss for a while

Roast potatoes were not good. Hard in the middle. Not up to usual standards but staff always lovely. It just gets too busy.

Visited this Toby Carvery as their reviews were best in the area. Very clean and very attentive staff who served us right away. Carvery was plentiful and the server gave generous amount of meat and the veg options gravies were appealing and plentiful with very clean sering areas which is a massive plus. The seated area was comfortable and the drinks were given quickly. The pudding was nice as had apple pie and custard and sticky toffee pudding with portion sizes plentiful also. Parking is easy with the registration system. Would recommend to go 100%

Been here several times and every time we were served by a different person but every single person was so so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Food is always great but the customer service here is the key reason we keep coming back.

The food was delicious, though my mum needed to ask for it to be heated up a bit, the gravy brought enough warmth to mine. The service was generally ok, but would have been better if the server didn't forget us a couple of times in the location we were in. We had a kids eat free voucher and was told anything on the child's menu was free. However we were charged for the two children's desserts on the bill. Overall we enjoyed the food and walked away with full bellies at a reasonable price.

I have been coming here for YEARS and it has always been excellent EVERY SINGLE TIME! Food is amazing, service is always amazing and their roast dinners are generally well priced for the portion sizes and quality. Highly recommend by me and my Georgian 🇬🇪 girlfriend who tried a roast dinner for the first time and gave it a 9.5/10

Had a lovely meal with friends but did not know about the parking arrangement. Logging car reg at reception. Nobody told me and I was so excited to be with friends I didn’t notice. Now I have received a parking fine of £100. Cannot contact restaurant about this. I’m devastated by 5his.

We decided to visit Toby Carvery on the spur of the moment. Booked a table, arrived a bit early but were shown to our table on time despite the carvery being very busy. Had a very nice meal and drinks, left pleasantly full and happy.

Always a great place to go for a roast dinner

I was really disappointed. I thought my roast was tough, my vegetables overdone, my Yorkshire pudding soggy... Of course, you are trying to accommodate a lot of people and I should've known better, but still, it was disappointing. Our server was lovely.

Amazing service and attention to detail by Chef Sam and his colleague Becka. Have been many times before but on this occasion Chef Sam’s friendly service and hospitality has been above and beyond. Had an amazing night with some friends and built up an appetite and Toby carvery really fills you up, the food was lovely and well needed after a hard day, all the staff were amazing from the lady at the front desk to the lady who poured out our beers but Sam and Ronan really added that special touch, we will defiantly be returning, even while typing this I am so stuffed, you really do get value for your money and the food feels like a home cooked meal.

Lamb roast small and tough. Roast potatoes not very crisp. Yorkshire pudding cold and tough.

Vegan options are great and I was super happy that the mashed potato is now made with vegan marge, it was delicious. My vegetarian partner really liked her meal and my meat eating friend loved his meal too. It's delicious and extremely good value for money. Staff at Snaresbrook were super friendly and helpful. I really need to visit more often!

I have been to many carvery but this is the best. The food moist and the vegetables are great. The staff are very helpful and notified me on the discounts available. I love coming here.

Usually my visit to the venue is really good. However, this time, the staff did little to control a very disruptive group of women with children, who when politely asked by staff & diners to stop the children running around & playing ball in the restaurant & disturbing everyone & becoming louder & more dangerous, we're met with vile verbal abuse & threats of physical harm. A man was threatened & wanted police called, this was averted at the last minute as they left with a tirade of verbal threats & expletives! It was a tshocking scene & the staff had no control of the situation & people could have got hurt. Very disappointing.

We went here for my mum birthday and when I tell you the food was good and seasoned even the gravy had a nice textured. The dessert was so lovely and I enjoyed it all I will be back and that is a promise bringing my partner this time.

Not up to my standard for ale but a good roast dinner nonetheless. A bit quieter than I expected.

Wish I remembered the name of the lady who served us because she was lovely. I've shockingly never been to a Toby but had a great experience. It's cheap and delicious. The lady who served us told us about the app so I downloaded it and got a nice discount from signing up.

The one thing that spoiled it for me was flies. There were a couple flying around over the veg, and a very persistent one in the corner where were eating. I didn't dare take my eyes off my plate in case it landed. I kept brushing it away but it wasn't having it. They definitely need to get an electronic zapper, or several as it's a big place

Always great. Good alcohol-free drink options. The barman Charlie took time to explain what was available.

It truly is the home of the British Roast. The roast dinners/lunches have been consistently of a good standard. No frills Roast with plenty of sides and option to upgrade to a larger portion (at additional cost). Plenty of deals on the internet sometimes giving up to 50 per cent off. Download the app for additional deals/discounts. The staff have always been friendly. Book ahead to ensure a table. Parking is plentiful but need to enter registration details at the pub to avoid fine. The bar area closes very early in the evening which is a pity. The bar has very little atmosphere and been subsumed by the dining experience. There is disabled access. Toilets are clean. If you are lucky you will see the feline patron, Fred sulking around the property.

Not sure how a pub next to a travelodge in the London area can be closed at 10pm on a Saturday night in summer. Neither did the 12 people outside who also wanted access. Went to a pub down the road instead that was rammed.

Dry bland meat not much on your plate. Veg is dried out under a hot lamp. Soggy Yorkshire pudding. Generally unappealing food and nothing like the pictures. I have taken most of it home for dog let’s see what he thinks of it

This is the second time she has served us and she never falter with her exceptional customer service. From the moment we arrived, her warm and welcoming attitude stood out, making us feel immediately at ease. Jodie-Ann's knowledge of the menu was impressive. She provided insightful recommendations that perfectly matched our tastes and dietary needs. Her attentiveness was also noteworthy; she anticipated our needs without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were always full and our requests promptly addressed. What really set Jodie-Ann apart was her ability to personalise our experience. She remembered our names and preferences, adding a special touch that made us feel valued. Despite the restaurant being busy, she managed everything with remarkable efficiency and calm. In summary, Jodie-Ann’s exceptional service made our visit here memorable again as well as the gentleman named Ross at the front desk adding to our experience and catering to our every need by letting us watch the football .
