Lovely pub. Very friendly atmosphere.

Looking everything you would want in a British pub. Look no further than this pub. Has a great spot for just drinks and an upstairs for a quiet dining experience. We were lucky enough to have Mario as our server. He took great care of us plus our 8 month baby. Would highly recommend this place.

We recently had a private event at the Cellar Bar downstairs at The King's Head. The staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet food we pre-ordered was tasty and came out on time. The venue catered to every need for our event so I would highly recommend.

I went there for the fish and chips and was rather disappointed, the fish seemed quite ordinary to me and they were frozen fries which is a shame.

Great meat pie! Ordered the beef rib, shin and brisket pie. Flaky crust and tasty gravy with a lot of meat. The mashed potatoes and carrots on the side were really good too. Would recommend. Close to Burlington Arcade.

Food was very good and services were cordial and attentive.

We booked the dining room upstairs for a birthday party, and the whole experience could not have been better: the management of the booking and payment beforehand, the buffet food (that we pre-ordered), and how well we were looked after by the bar staff on the day. Add to that the excellent central location of the venue, and the fact that the room itself looks fantastic - and then we filled it with 60 friends, lots of whom have been in touch to say what a great night it was. Thank you to the whole team at the King's Head :-)

This pub it was really organized and people were very welcome, the ambient was cozy and the team were really nice. I went upstairs at the Resturant to order some food and the Matija the guys served us was charming and suggested us the a nice meal and great red wine.

It was a large pub with upstairs and cellar floors. There was a good selection of beers, amicable service, and it was clean. Can be very busy lunch time and evening.

Excellent meal. Tim our server is friendly, professional, expedient, amazing. The steak pie is outstanding. We stopped by by chance and it was so worth it.

It's a pub worth experiencing in the UK. It's a place with a lot of history and a good atmosphere. It was a weekend, so the soccer game was on the screen on both sides, and there were Korean servers, so it was even better because I could order food while listening to detailed explanations. There was a photo of the British poet Shelley. Could it be that he was a regular at that time?!

Magnificent atmosphere in a place that dates back to the 18th century. Very friendly staff. The food, typical English, is great, and the beer (especially the one they brew themselves, Nicholson's) is great. Highly recommended.

Waiting time 40 minutes for really not nice food. We had a salad with chicken- overgrilled, potato's made from paper. Never again!

It has a great atmosphere and perfect before going upstairs to the dining room. I like the bar option first but do also like to have the table all day. The booking was to end at 4pm, I like the fact I can actually book 4 hours, but were told we could stay as the table wasn't needed until 7:30. That was really considerate, as I said we like to stay at "our" we use every year,all day. the food was hot, it was what we ordered, it all came together, we didn't have to wait for drinks. We will be back again next year! I love the place, a really great Great British Pub!

The guy in the bar is extremely rude. Don’t want to work here? Don’t!

I’ve been here a couple times and the atmosphere is by far one of the best around. Second only to that are the amazing staff! The staff are well trained as they had a comprehensive understanding of their menu and drinks! They were super helpful and their hospitality was amazing! Great spot to head over for lunch, after work but especially on the weekends when the atmosphere is the best! I’d recommend booking in advance if you want eat as it can get fully booked! The food is deffo the best around the area! I’d recommend one of their famous pies! The fish one is my personal favourites, but the rabbit one I’ve heard is super tasty also!

This is a brilliant pub with a consistently buzzing atmosphere. I usually pop in on weekdays after work, and it’s always lively. The people here are friendly. It can sometimes be tricky to find a seat, but that’s purely because of how busy it gets, which shows how popular it is. There’s usually people standing outside too because of the busy vibe. The food is really good! I’ve eaten upstairs twice before, and I’d definitely recommend it. The dishes are well-prepared and always quality. The staff are absolutely lovely—always friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful, which makes the experience even better. Works great as my casual spot to relax after work and my weekend place to meet with friends.

A beautifully decorated chromas pin with a warm welcome and decent value for money. The wife and I were in the city doing the last of (her) Christmas shopping. We were headed to Green park and happened upon the king’s head more by accident than design. It was fairy cold and we decided to come in for a swift drink ahead of going for the tube. The pub was warm and festive which felt really appropriate for the area. The staff were polite and efficient without being fussy or invasive. The drinks weren’t cheap but they were in keeping with the area so it’s certainly not overly expensive We pressed on after. Next time we will try a bite to eat
