My experience in this starbucks was so bad that I even cried. I was already so tired and hot and wanted to get a nice iced drink to refresh myself. I ordered an iced chai latte with oat milk which I’ve drank many times before in other starbuckses and I really like it. They got me a hot chai latte and when I said I ordered it iced they just put it in another cup and put some ice in it. When I tried it it had so little chai that it tasted only like oat milk with nothing else. Then immediately after that the ice melted because the drink was hot AND NOT ICED and the taste became even more bland and disgusting. It was so disappointing and I had to throw it away. I’ve never had such bad experience in a starbucks

a guarantee for those who want to drink a coffee...in addition to the desserts and the painstaking organisation...

why are the toilets in starbucks always filthy? no toilet tissue and just looked a mess

Have been coming to this site for the past year. Please move the food order label machine more visible because staff consistently struggle to notice mobile food orders. Would love to change to 5 stars otherwise ⭐

Quite noisy in the basement. Tables are not cleared by guests.

Good if you are ordering drink / food to takeaway, but poor if you want to sit in: Seating is downstairs (not accessible for those with disabilities). The female toilets had no soap or toilet paper - we reported it to staff who provided us with toilet paper but informed us that no soap was available. Uncomfortably hot inside - needs air conditioning.

I accidentally ordered two cups of the same because of the delay in ordering the app. When I came to the store, they gave me two coffee rolls because they couldn't get a refund. Great staff, patiently solving problems for me.

A quick and convenient Coffee shop to visit. The toilet system is ticket oriented which is a bit pointless but never mind.

Very noisy as full of French students and area downstairs had not been cleared for ages as was piled high with dirty used cups paper bags leftover food etc n tables not wiped for ages either.

Starbucks is a world famous brand, so I thought why not try it on the streets of London too. Cozy office, friendly staff. I left very pleased. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

Regardless the coffee of Starbucks always tastes very good, The atmosphere of this branch was cozy. And next to the beautiful Apple market. The area around is vital and joyful which you can pick your cafe from there.. :)

I was able to drink the hot chocolate that James bought me. Please check the code number to use the restroom. I will never forget the kindness and consideration of the James family. Middle school students also say that it is more disappointing to part ways with good people than to end a trip. Hope to see you again!

Avoid due to thieves. I had my phone stolen from this Starbucks branch (man with a beard distracted me with a newspaper and stole my phone) The staff to their credit, despite being very busy were helpful to me. Unfortunately they didn't sound surprised and informed me that this is common in this branch - it does make you think that if they are aware of this, more stringent measures should be in place. I would avoid visiting again due to my experience...just a warning to be vigilant in such a crowded area as thieves operate around this area a lot.

I am utterly disappointed and furious about my recent experience at Starbucks Covent Garden. The incompetence displayed by the barista is beyond belief – they carelessly left the guide inside my thermos and poured my drink over it, resulting in bits of paper melting into my beverage. I explicitly requested the use of my thermos instead of a paper cup at the till, even mentioning the audible menu inside. Yet, I assumed the staff would remove it, only to be shocked later. While waiting for my order, I observed the barista peering into my thermos but took no action. This negligence ruined my drink, and the thought of consuming a 'guide-flavored' coffee is appalling. Adding insult to injury, despite my clear request, the cashier neglected to apply my reward. This level of incompetence is unacceptable, especially during a relatively quiet period. How can someone mistake paper for a consumable item? Starbucks Covent Garden needs to seriously reevaluate its service standards to avoid such appalling blunders in the future.

Went in for a take away hot latte before the theater on a rainy London evening. The place was chill, the service was fast and the coffee was hot.

Was told to help myself to water from the tap by the cashier, and was then told off by another staff member for doing so. Please make up your mind about this

I just want to give a big shoutout to a really lovely employee called Zeehaan (sorry if I’ve misspelled your name girly) she’s was absolutely wonderful! I, being the cluts that I am, dropped my entire coffee on the floor before I even took a sip. I told a member of staff I needed some paper towels to clean it up and this lovely human comes round with the most uplifting and comforting attitude which made me feel so much better after the stupid thing I did. She even went out of her way to get me a new coffee made asap! What an absolute angel of a human. Thanks girl, I hope you always keep that gorgeous smile and amazing personality xx

Nice coffee but place smelt like unwashed flaps

I usually don’t rate a place if it’s horrible, but I can’t help it. I work in the area and there are plenty of times that I come to grab a cup of coffee. Customer service is always awful, I understand they are busy but when im busy working I’m always polite and considerate. Today I popped in to check the new clotted cream cold brew, and as I was waiting for the lady to prepare it, I saw her checking my name on the cup and laugh with her colleague. I find it very unprofessional and rude. Plus 4.65 for a tall coffee?

Visited last night and the staff were unwelcoming. They were loudly speaking to each other, yelling across the room and busy chatting with who sounded to be an ex-worker there. I was standing at the counter trying to pay for a merch but was ignored. Would’ve been nice to be acknowledged or if busy a simple ‘will be with you in a sec’ or something.

Another Starbucks in London to be disappointed with. Watered down Chai Tea Latte with some syrup being passed as “chai”, and the grande size being insisted on as being 20 oz for a Venti one, when it is clearly not.

Friday evening 8pm. Not friendly at all. Asked for a take away cup as a favour as I just work next door and often go for coffee or cake during my break. The girl was just looking so confused and when she realised I wasn’t buying anything on this occasion she just refused, twice. Clearly they have no idea what customer service means. Luckily Santa Nata is just opposite and they’re the loveliest. The positive out of this is a new spot for break time.

Classico Starbucks in posizione centrale, servizio abbastanza lento e prezzi medio-alti come sempre. Posti a sedere nel seminterrato pochi e senza finestre, solo un bagno funzionante quindi con lunga fila da fare. Nota positiva è la presenza di prese che rendono questo posto una buona tappa per ricaricare un po’ le batterie.

There is an unkind staff. A friendly staff told me to wait for the bread to heat.But after a while, another staff got angry at me for asking why I was standing. and She was annoyed by my poor English. The pleasant evening was upsetting.

This place is mostly for taking your coffee away, as the café is very small. In a line for ordering, you are bumping into people that have already ordered, or that are choosing some snack form a fridge on the opposite side than where the cash desk is. So really, take away.

Worst Starbucks I have been too. Staff were miserable, no customer service skills. The guy on bar assuming to be the manager was rude - moaning about his job.. that’s what you want to hear as a customer! Gave me my drinks by sliding them over without a thank you. Ordered a tea and when asked where it was he then found it behind him (been sitting there for a while) and slid it across yet again. No apology or regard for his mistake. Cafe was filthy. Sat for 30 minutes and not once was it cleaned. Appalling representation of the company.

We went to this branch on Thursday evening, at around 7:20pm. Bought the coffees and something to eat thinking we can sit down in the seating area downstairs since the shop was closing at 10pm, or at least what the timings online says. After we already bought everything we were told by barista that they're closing downstairs already, so take away only. Almost 3 hours before the shop closes? Barista was very rude too.

Staff here seems to be getting worse to worse. They stop serving at 9:30pm and tells you they are closed and takes off their opening hours sign by the door. Constantly moans about how they hate pumpkin spice latte despite the long queue. All very rude and probably the most unhygienic starbucks I’ve ever come across. Seven Dials branch is 100% nicer and pleasant.

I went there today with my friend to get some coffee to go. We both got wrong drinks and the staff was really unpleasant. She was even angry at me. When I asked for some requests, she kept saying "no!". It was really rude. Her name was Xinyu. I think that Starbucks needs to train their staffs regularly.

Great locations and open super early! Only downside! The seatings are in basement downstairs with no windows. The other issue is that the staff do not wipe the table as they should. Sticky tables. The downstairs seating is comfy, great music and charge points everywhere. There isn’t much coffee point before 9 in Covent Garden so you do not have much choice.

Their service is poor. The employee didn’t respect the line . They let three people to order before me and when it became my turn she close the till and left

Was in the Starbucks in London Covent gardens today. The girl behind the desk was extremely rude to not only us as customers but also her co workers. I asked politely for tables to be put outside as it is 37 degree heat and I had traveled from Scotland and wanted to enjoy some sunshine. She was completely unapproachable and her attitude was not anything that should be put in front of a customers eye. I’m not usually one to complain, myself a coffee shop owner, a small business runner, this attitude was completely unacceptable. However, there was one lovely member of staff. His name was sahib. A very very very polite member of staff and an asset to the shop. He was completely willing to put the table outside and he done it with a smile on his face. Thank you for that. At the end of the day, I was asking for a table to sit outside and the girls continuous attitude after me asking was shocking.

Trash left on the tables. Crew nowhere to be found. At least coffee was okay.

Waited 30 minutes for a grande caramel macchiato. Asked the girl serving the drinks about my drink and she just ignored me and gave attitude……..

I ordered regular americano with soy milk, after 5min waiting received frappucino, after a refund and reorder (being asked twice if Im sure I want hot americano with milk) I received an ice coffee… not very happy

The two girls that worked at this location were incompetent and rude. For being in the service industry, they sure don't understand how to serve people well. They got the drinks wrong. Gave ugly looks when I asked if a drink was mine because no one else was claiming it. It turned out they got the drink wrong for other people. It was all a very annoying way to start my morning. Hire new people that are pleasant and competent.

The worst Starbucks in London. There was too much foam and I’ve never heard of a barista blending a matcha latte in a blender. When I asked the barista why there was so much foam he said this is the method they use. I’ve been to many Starbucks in London and not once did they blend it. Ordered 2 coffees from Starbucks 2 minutes away at 0933. Coffee arrived at 1056.

Worst service ever, 4 employees chatting and we are only customers. Had to ask if they were serving and acted like we were bothering them. We came in out of rain at 7:45 they close is at 10. As we get our order they blocked the stairs to seating, claiming have to start cleaning for closing. Rude and obnoxious!!!
