Popped in her on the way to St James park for a quick pint. Very cosy in the bar area and the proprietress was very friendly and chatty. Good selections of drinks and although I didn’t go upstairs but I believe there was seating. The gents toilet is downs small flight of step where the ladies is up a flight of steps. It was a hot day but the pub was very cool. Nice refreshing pint helped as well. Would go back.

This pub is not for you if you’re averse to funding bigotry and cruelty. My family visited here and now one of our indelible London memories will be this bartender making multiple homophobic slurs at a member of our family who was in no way provoking it. Then, gently given the opportunity to walk it back, he doubled down. Shame on Red Lion for tolerating, thereby implicitly endorsing, this behaviour.
