The best restaurants serving British food in London

Dreadful place, I came in, it's a self-service type of place, you have to find a menu yourself when queue to the bar to place an order. I asked for a glass of wine that was £8 on the menu and they tried to charge me £11.90 for it. I asked why and none seemed to be able to explain, neither did they apologies. The staff behind the counter was pretty rude so I left.

They cook the best skinless cod, away from the seaside, that can be found locally but the CHIPs!!! By the time you sit down to eat them at home, they become dry and shrivelled and there are just so many of them, that we don't have plates big enough. I recommend asking for lots of salt and vinegar in the hope the moisture sweats some plumpness into them while they are wrapped up. The Fish still wins out over the local competition, where some places are still cash only, a disgrace in this day and age.

A superb choice amongst the hubub of Leicester Square. Blink and you may miss the understated doorway. But don't! Have been a number if times as it never disappoints. Cheese, wine, Ham & Cheese Pie or whatever else on the menu. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra visita, el anfitrión explicó el menú y tuvo una velada encantadora. Teníamos el Baba Ghanouj, Arayes como el Mezze de arranque, y el Cordero Shawarma y el Cordero Kofta. Teníamos una botella de vino tinto Massaya Classic del Líbano. Gran valor y servicio realmente amable.

Los servidores eran amables, pero estaba esperando conseguir alguna buena comida pub, pero estaba muy decepcionado con las 2 aplicaciones que pedimos, así que nos fuimos rápidamente. Parece un buen lugar para tomar una copa, pero no si estás buscando comida.

Food was okay, garlic cheese pizza bread was the winner! Staff were very attentive with the cutlery they couldn’t give us enough and were happy to just bring more and more.

The Victoria Paddington was a lovely pub experience. Dinner was delightful and the pub is so nice. Very local and yet welcoming. Upstairs the theatre and library are also very nice. We definitely will be back.

Los tres encontramos este hermoso restaurante mientras paseábamos por Covent Garden el domingo por la noche. Tuvimos una comida fantástica, una cena asada que superó con creces nuestras expectativas. Las porciones eran generosas, deliciosas, perfectamente cocinadas y bien presentadas. Había un cantante de ópera afuera y nos sentamos en la ventana con una gran vista. Lo más destacado fue nuestro servidor Stanimir que nos dio un servicio excepcional. Él era amable, profesional, eficiente e hizo un esfuerzo adicional para arreglar que mi sobrina ajustara la opción vegetariana a su gusto. Él estaba muy ocupado y era cortés con todos los clientes y nos pareció servicial y encantado de hablar con él. Nous avons pris un English Breakfast dans ce pub et ce fut le meilleur petit déjeuner de tout notre séjour en Angleterre. Généreux et fait avec des produits de qualité. Bon rapport qualité/prix. L’accueil fut bon et le décors charmant. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !
