Very lovely & fresh meal at The Chessington Oak this afternoon - staff are lovely & friendly as usual. Laura was our sever this afternoon very professional and efficient

Came here on a weekend to have some food and drink with a few mates and i must say i am very pleased once again. The food was delicious and is reasonably priced too, they have a very wide range on food from skillets to burgers to the good old classics like bangers and mash and fish and chips. my mate had a classic mixed grill and the steak was cooked to perfection which we was very pleased about and i had the big beef which was i must say one of the best burgers i’ve had. They also have a wide range of drinks from draughts to bottles and even have good 0% options. The parking was very easy as it’s free all you do is just pop your registration in on the tablets at the bar. The staff were very friendly and approachable, they were polite and were smiling too. I am over the moon with my visit so a very big thank you to Tom, Carlos and the team. 5*

Been coming to the Chessington to oak for a very long time now and I must say the pub is absolutely amazing. The staff are very friendly and polite and the prices are very reasonable. They have a good range of draught beers and the food is absolutely amazing. I will definitely keep coming here as it's very friendly and a very nice pub. They have a pool table and two dart boards as well to keep you occupied so A massive thank you to Tom carlos and the team for making my visits exceptional. 10/10

We came as we were staying nearby. We scanned the qr code and ordered. When we had ordered there was a wait, drinks came out first. We had ordered 2 meals for adults and 2 kids meals. When ordering I requested the childrens ice cream to come with their meal. It didn't come with the meals. The meals were nice, I had a burger and chips, there wasn't many chips and no salad at all. The kids enjoyed theirs. Then when we ordered another drink each and puddings for adults, they gave us the wrong pudding, they took it back and then realised it wasn't ours it was another table. I asked about the childrens puddings as we had finished ours. They brought the kids out and once they had finished, we left. Staff seemed friendly and approachable. They said they were busy that evening but there wasn't many diners?

Great sizzling pub, plenty of affordable food. Great steaks. Quick service. Friendly staff.

Typical pub. Menu looks decent with plenty of options. We didn’t eat on this occasion. Atmosphere is typical of the current climate - everything seems a little run down with less and less people going to pubs these days. Usual things you expect from a pub that serves the local community. Nothing bad to say about this pub.

There was 17 of us for birthday dinner celebration. Unfortunately due to sickness they were short staffed, but the staff were amazing, they worked so hard. Food and service brilliant.

Me and my family had a really lovely experience today at The Chessington Oak. The bar, tables, pub and loos were spotlessly clean and service by Jack at the bar was as always, friendly, knew my usual order and chatty. We ordered food and I had specific requirements that were met perfectly by the chef Kenny. The food was hot, fresh and tasted great. Thanks guys.

We take our great grandson's on Tuesdays they are 8yrs & 7yrs, they like it their, its good food and the staff are great, Sophie is always there to help. and she doesn't mind the boys trying to play pool.

A truly nice and cozy place to grab a munch. Nice music, discrete in the background, modern deco and great variety of food options. Mac & cheese strongly recommended for kids. My daughter is really picky with it normally but gobbled this one down nicely 🥰 great opportunity to treat yourself to a glorious mixed grill at a sensible price too! The rice was fluffy and lovely..good portions of roasted veg too. The staff lovely and accommodating throughout. My salmon was overcooked and they offered to swap it when they checked on us 🙏🏼 all drinks at fab temperature and overall cleanliness and spot on 🦄🌈 the ordering app quite user-friendly, but you need to be precise with the product name to find the right menu listing 🙆🏻

good place for a casual night out with mates. Good prices and good service. have a good pool table as well as darts and show the football on the tv. had a good atmosphere and everyone was friendly.

Just 5 min walk from Chessington North Station. We had dinner at Chessington Oak. Waited for some 10-15min for our food. Both adult food and cocktails, as well as kids food were delicious, reasonably priced and the portions were decent.

Sadly food really gone down hill last few months, last weeks meal undercooked , wrong portion size just really unpleasant meal sadly as liked this little find ,

My wife and I had lunch here recently and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the speed of service. The staff were great as well. We will certainly return. BUT, be careful to give your car registration number at the bar or (like me) you will receive a demand for £80 from a parking firm. Fortunately, the pub manager made it go away.

We came for our Christmas meal and had the 3 courses for £16.95. The staff were friendly and the food was good and of course, great value. However, it took almost 3 hours for us to receive our 3 courses. It would have taken even longer if we didn't stand waiting by the bar for our dessert, which we took to go. Although we booked and pre-ordered, we had to order again on arrival and the kitchen couldn't find one of the desserts, so it seemed a bit pointless. We ordered 2 veggie burgers with dairy cheese and no onion. Both came with onion and one had vegan cheese. Not a terrible evening, but won't rush back.

Once again I am very happy with my experience at the chessington oak, the staff were very friendly and polite the pub had very pretty Christmas decorations. We came and dined for two and ordered a mega mixed grill and the boss burger which were absolutely fantastic, my steak was cooked to perfection and the prices are very reasonable. Carlos, Tom and the crew were very helpful and made my time here wonderful, would definitely recommend and will be back soon

I recently visited this pub and had a fantastic experience! The place was impressively clean and organized, which made for a really welcoming atmosphere. Tom, the bar staff, was especially kind and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. His friendly demeanor added to the overall positive vibe of the pub. The Chessington oak is a very welcoming pub from the outaide and in, the staff and also the regulars. The food was excellent and didn't need to wait too long, however the staff are very good at communicating and if there is a wait on food they will keep you updated as much as possible, the drinks and food are very reasonably priced and have a wide range of draughts and bottles. They even have a wide range of kids food and drinks as they have they're own menu. They show most sports from football to even f1 so I must say due to the new management the pub has improved massively so thanks to Carlos, Tom and the team for a very pleasant experience. 10/10

Attending with my two children on a night a big football match was playing - I was a little dubious. However cannot recommend enough great family-friendly environment. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great watching the football with children present. Would definitely recommend it and look forward to attending again.

Really great food, kind staff and a lovely pub all around!

Waited 45 minutes, then asked how long food would be as there as no one else eating. Was told they were plating up. 20 minutes later most of the food come, and 10 minutes after the rest. Burger was burnt, chicken was burnt, and steak that was medium to well done was rare. Hair on the plate of one meal. No one come to even ask if we were OK with the meals. Raised concerns to be told sorry nothing we can do. Worst meal I have ever had and regret going anywhere near the place.

Lovely meal, very welcoming staff. Able to eat being gluten free, dairy free AND vegetarian! Not just ‘eat’ but it was very tasty. Good prices. Were helpful putting a candle in my daughters’ pudding for her birthday. My free from pudding was gorgeous. Lovely generous helpings in the sundaes. Perfect for after a day in the theme park too before the journey home and skip the traffic.

When I came here the pub was very tidy and clean, the staff very nice and welcoming the food is amazing and on point and they have got a high range of drinks that are all reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend

I thought it had a very rough atmosphere service was very slow we booked but they did not check mine and my 3 year olds birthday on the computer also the meal we ordered was missing items and my child meal was supposed to come with a pudding never arrived

Where to start well positives 1 star for friendly staff but there it ends. Went in for a family meal on a Thursday evening cue very drunk locals, copius swearing and tepid food. Now topped off with a Euro car parks parking fine - no obvious signage in car park, no obvious signage in the pub, no advice from bar staff. May be better at lunchtime but evenings for family I'd swerve. Oh and I'd walk unless you want a very expensive bite to eat.

I go to this pub on a regular basis whether it be lunch/dinner with the family or drinks with my friends it’s the best place to be! The food is amazing and the atmosphere is a vibe especially when they have bingo night and karaoke

This is a great pub, with a huge selection of drinks and food. Steak was cooked to perfection and fish and chips spot on! Does have a nice chill restaurant side and bar/sports side. Good atmosphere and good service

All was good until we ordered the food. Not only did we have to wait over an hour because they forgot our order, the food that arrived was disgusting. A good place for a pint, but do yourself a favour and do not eat there.

Just had the best steak I've had at any pub! Cooked to perfection 👌 on a busy night. Everyone's plates were clean

Went for dinner before bingo where Karen is so good at putting this together every other Thursday and there was a birthday in which the bar staff made such an effort to make it more special. Food is really good. Lauren is so so good at her job and really makes a karaoke night more fun as she is so good at getting involved with not only loving her job but to give all customers her time and laughs with them all.

Staff always nice and work as well as they can under pressure. We come here for the football games, and on nice days as the seating area outside is nice and open. Was served by Jack several times, and was pleasantly surprised at his knowledge of every regular customer’s orders and attention to detail. Would highly recommend!

Would absolutely give it a no star. The main point of this place is to have drink and food. After an hour wait which it wasn’t busy either and only being served the kids meals, 10 minutes later questioned where the adult meals are, they had been forgotten. Gave up and had a refund on the adult meals.

Im a regular & im always more happy when i visit when im served by young Val he is a great character behind the bar making drinks & on hand to help his colleagues... many times has handled difficult situations impressively acting way above his pay grade. The food top class for the price & the loyalty scheme is a great thing to be using! Happy days all round

We celebrated a birthday there, and I must say, the service was truly exceptional. Despite the bustling atmosphere and the fact that one staff member (Val) was managing the floor alongside two new starters, he went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. He frequently checked in on us, making sure we were enjoying ourselves and asking if we needed anything. The cocktails he crafted were nothing short of amazing, and his friendly banter kept us laughing throughout the evening. We left with smiles on our faces, grateful for such a memorable night.

I came in yesterday for a meal with 2 friends. Was told a wait time of 45 mins for food.. bit long but was happy to wait. I’d asked for 3 drinks & the bartender had to get the supervisor from delivering food to make the drinks. He whipped up 3 killer cocktails & appreciated our patience explaining as the bar staff are new… Food came out a bit later than 45 mins but we were offered a free side or drink for waiting.. instead we asked for a takeaway box as we had places to be after… good food, nice drinks but you could see this was service was a 1 man show & could do with an extra pair of hands. Nice vibe in the bar area / pool table where we sat.. will be back again.

I just flew back to the uk yesterday, popped in with my son for a bite to eat and a drink or two. There was one bar staff member young guy in his early 20s who actually knew what he was doing. I saw he had to be dragged back from serving tables because the other two bar staff members were swimming in orders and we wasn’t getting served I think he was a supervisor as he was all over the bar and flirt handling orders taking food to tables making sure everyone was served and got their food. My question is to management and owners why would you only have 1 person who actually knows what their doing in front of house? I presume a lack of care by the owners but service was good my son ordered a burger came out well.

Attended the Chessington Oak for a 60th birthday party also had great entertainment with the ub40 night on Saturday 3rd August 2024 - the staff were professional and pub was kept up to clean standards, the birthday girl had a fab night also. The buffet food was very good selection - Will be returning for day to day food and drinks on a normal day/evening😊

Great if you want to take turns watching each other eat or pick 4 different meals because there wasn't much in stock. Followed by 2hr wait for food, the couple behind us were waiting 45mins for ice cream! On the upside, I learnt a few new swear words from the guy stomping around delivering food. The bar maid was nice and polite, and the other staff were friendly enough just a shame the other fella had the customer service skills of spitting cobra. Better off at beefeater

Food was absolutely fine but having a server swearing, in front of my kids ain't on. Young lad, early 20's. Wasn't our fault they were low on staff but to be swearing when delivering drinks to the table and at the bar is disgusting. We spent a lot of money, with 10 people dining and was shocked at the service. As we are staying around here for two days we came back the next day because the food was good, hoping it was just an off day, the same server was in a better mood, still not great but certainly better but the wait on food was over 1 1/2hrs!

We had dinner here last weekend as a large group (9 adults, 5 kids and a baby) after a day at Chessington World of Adventures. I appreciate that they were able to accommodate us on a Saturday night as nowhere else near the theme park was able to. The service was excellent - our server Jack was rushed off his feet attending to us and the chef Carlos did a good job keeping up with so many different dishes. Food was decent, standard family pub fare and hit the spot after a long day. I think everyone was happy.

First time visit for this lovely pub Went with wife and her sister and brother Order two fish and chips, one scampi and chips and I had medium rare steak We all could not fault the well presented dishes and they all very much enjoyed For dessert we had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream and also my brother-in-law and sister-in-law had the chocolate sundae They were all fabulous and could not be faulted Will definitely return to this well run establishment
