Went with our family. Wonderful service and staff are amazing and so friendly. Gorgeous food and cooked beautifull!! Highly recommend!

Used this shop for years but never again. I ordered cod and chips for four to takeaway, the chips were soggy and greasy and left a nasty after taste. The batter on the fish was also soggy. Most of our dinner ended up in the bin.

The fish and chips were absolutely delicious, with the fish cooked to perfection and the chips crispy and flavorful. It was a great meal!

Disgusting.. possibly the worst portion of chips and gravy I’ve ever eaten.. the chips were warmed up Dry and vile The way over priced gravy was basically a lump of brown stuff. The guy frying the food looks like he needs a good shower Please don’t waste your hard earned cash in here it’s disgusting

Friday 21st June '24 Whilst in Tolworth for my Covid vac. decided to have a meal out. I remembered this restaurant from years back AND was not disappointed. I had cod and chips followed by apple pie and ice cream. The food and service was excellent, I found the whole experience very pleasant and will definitely return if in the area again. Thank you to all the staff

We had dinner here on Thursday night as a family of six. We found the restaurant to be very welcoming. Our waitress was absolutely lovely (sorry I didn’t catch your name)and was happy to chat to my children who were rather excited after a day at Chessington! She encouraged my daughter to try a shrimp and showed her how to peel it. She really helped us to have a lovely relaxed meal. The food was beautiful, lovely fresh fish and nice crispy batter. I had a portion of their curry sauce, which was actually the best I have ever had, followed by a fabulous homemade butterscotch tart. Accompanied by a decently brewed tea which was lovely and strong! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return if we are ever back in the area.

The service is appalling so slow. Nobody acknowledges you when you waiting and on a few occasions food was missing. I don’t know what’s happened they i=used to be so good

Not great. Don’t recommend. Food tasted old, not fresh and staff were not in the mood at all.

2 sausages ordered and paid for, only 1 sent. Chips mostly o.k. but a lot of them burnt, had to through them away. Why no samon for weeks now.

Friendly staff always reasobably priced. But every cod we have ordered tastes good but always tooo oily. Superfish should look at the mixture for the batter . But other than the oily fish , good service and tasty fish.

Very bland food, Batter on chips very soggy and tasteless, prices are a complete rip off! Coke served in a small glass which is smaller than a normal can. My friend who was visiting me was very disappointed. Even Sunshine cafe across the road is more tasty, and that’s saying something.

Great to find a fish shop selling Huss. A good meal. Waiter and waitress very friendly and up for a laugh. We're going back in a few days.

Get a chief who can cook chips properly a disgrace to British fish and chip , change of oil needed never returning 😤 and chips half raw

Even for me as a tourist, this was the best fish & chips. The staff was lovely and I would love to eat there over and over again!

Really good quality fish, freshly prepared, in nice crispy batter with good chips. The mushy peas were excellent too, with a hint of bacon. I had the “fruits de mer”, which is a mix of cod, Huss and haddock; very generous portions, and very tasty. There’s a nice selection of reasonably priced wines. And the staff are all very friendly and helpful.

We went to Superfish Tolworth for a Friday F&C lunch. We hadn't been for over a decade. We used to go regularly to this one and the others too with my Uncle when he lived in Chessington. The decor had certainly been refreshed but the food was just as good as we remembered and they still did the lovely on the house treat of prawns, crusty baguette and butter as an appetiser. Excellent service too. Didn't have room to try the lovely selection of deserts...we'll save that for next time but sooner rather than later! ☺️

Went with my Mum, Sister, sit in at lunch time. The Cod was really nice, as was the Cod Roe my Sister had, very nice to get it straight out of the fryer. The Chips, they are the best chips I have had for years from a Fish & Chip Shop, golden brown and crispy, they were just so nice. The service was excellent, I even got a tub of prawns for my Cat, it was not busy at that time, a nice time to go. I will definitely be going there again.

Even though the restaurant had not long open the fish I received seemed not to be freshly cooked & for £11 the portion size was small.The mushy peas were not fresh green colour more grey green & flavor of both was disappointing. Not even half was eaten thrown in been will not be using again.

It was all delicious. Large portions. Not greasy. Well cooked and delivered on time.

This is a first class fish and chip restaurant and take away cooked in beef dripping the taste is amazing and whenever I'm in and around London i try to pay a visit

Good food and lovely service but a bit pricey for what it is, they do give you small appetizer like fresh prawns and bread to help pad the meal tho which was a nice suprise

£10 for the smallest piece of Huss I've ever seen. Very disappointing compared to the first time we ordered. Chips portion is like there is a potato famin in place lol.Not sure who the portion police are but dinner for two isn't worth £30 tonight a massive rip off. Sorry won't be back

Lovely food. Great to see that there are still fish and chip shops that don't use toxic seed oils (they use beef dripping which is both healthier despite what mainstream and incorrect health advice states plus makes the food tastier). I've been to the Cheam Village branch a few times and usually have cod or haddock but this time I tried the huss and it was so delicious and flavoursome. Thoroughly recommend for anyone who likes fish and chips cooked the correct way.

Didn’t mind at all that it was early as it was super hot and fresh ! They took care to secure both the chips and mushy peas so they wouldn’t spill in the bag on the way over . Great fish&chips and service

Usually really good but ordered 6 cod and chips the other day for some foreign guests and it was clear that the food had been hanging around a while. Stale chips and the fish was dry and chewy. Shame now I’ll have to find another fish and chip place and we’ve been going here for ages. Very disappointed.

The best Fish and Chips in the area, great portions

This was our second time ordering from this fish&chips but unfortunately the quality upon arrival had lessened substantially. I don’t blame the eatery , however it seems that we were the last in our cue to have our order delivered hence the food being soggy and merely warm , whereas last time the fish&chips were hot and still crispy. The mushy pea container also opened up on route and half the portion was all over the container .. Not sure if they overload their drivers with several orders at one time which is luck of the draw for the person who gets theirs last ??

Ordered on line 16 orders for dad birthday I can honestly say best fish chips in ages, the super bites were full of lovely flaky fish unlike other chippys where it’s all batter. The cod was amazing. Oh and the chips were fantastic. We will be back

Food & delivery always great, however, twice in a row I have ordered tartare sauces, first time nothing, the second time tomato ketchup turned up…disappointing waste of £3.20.

"2 large Takeaway fish and chips" cooked by a friendly polite kind man and served to take away @£7.50 in cardboard boxes were large satisfying portions of nicely cooked chips and fish for a cold and grey January Saturday lunch. The door to the restaurant was kept closed, and sanitiser bottles and dispenser were prominently available and visible for customer use in the takeaway area as well as the restaurant entrance. The takeaway area was spotlessly clean. The kind and friendly staff encourages us to return and recommend. Orders can be phoned in for collection.

Fish was small for a LARGE cod and the chips looked like they had been reheated a couple of times had to pop them in the microwave to heat them up definitely NOT worth the £15 + I had to pay
