Came in on Saturday for a meal, Rohan was fantastic!

Came on Saturday for a few drinks and some food, Rohan was quick on bus feet and a great server! Good time!

Neighborhood bar vibe. Ended up here on a Thursday late afternoon and the bar got busy quickly. Looked like a lot of local customers who just got out of work or school. Bar staff super friendly. Food and drinks came out quickly.

Service was appalling waitress clearly didn’t want to be there manager was disrespectful I pointed out that I was incorrectly charged as there menus stated a different price definitely will not be returning and do not recommend at all

The food is good. I had the famous fish and chips. I don't know where else I've had this dish, but I found it very tasty. The vegetarian snack was good too. The place is pleasant, you can talk, and the ambient noise doesn't bother you. The staff is attentive, but the smell of the bathrooms leaves a little to be desired. The local beer was at the right temperature.

Walkers of Whitehall- you have outdone yourself again! Our team had a great party, with some delicious party food and plenty of drinks! Their party packages were great, everyone had enough food and drink to go round. The team were awesome. The Vault downstairs is beautiful. If you're having a party I would strongly recommend booking here. Booking was super smooth and easy.

Popped in on a busy Thursday for a quick after work drink. The team were lovely, they even found me a table. Brilliant atmosphere with great music. Tried a scotch egg and a sausage roll, both were amazing. Great pub off the beaten path of Whitehall. Would definitely reccomend if you're in the area.

Great little pub down a little side ally steeped in history 3 min walk from trafalgar Square, you walk in and it actually smells like a pub should smell, great real ale.

Nice venue, food was good. Lovely friendly staff. Only thing a bit off putting we could see the chef putting the Yorkshire pudding on the plate without using gloves or utensils. Good quality Sunday lunch.

Everything you could need in a gastr pub. Good food, good service and great wine. Wait time was very little and the food was exceptional. The service was great and the staff very friendly. Couldnt recommend enough. We were served by Mark and he really couldnt do enough for us. We didnt feel rushed or anything. Definitely going back there.

Had a private booking at Bank vault downstairs and they were very helpful in ensuring we got what we needed. Managed to tailor private booking to requirements, including dietary considerations. Rowan and Jessie looked after my guests and they did an amazing job with our requirements. Food was lovely and we had a splendid time!

Came here for a lunch and was very disappointed. The waitress was very unhelpful and the food was really awful.

Food was tasteless and inedible! Not sure if we were unlucky but wouldn’t go here again to eat. Service was slow and the waitress was rude. The pub itself is nice inside and has a nice atmosphere.

The place is a real English pub. Selected atmosphere, retro-revivalist decor, eclectic background music ranging from jazz, bossa nova to pop, soft rock. The food, especially the starters, is very diverse and very... tasty, well prepared. The atmosphere is top notch, the service is super welcoming, very attentive and surprisingly friendly. I became a fan.

Nothing really especial. The food is ordered, the pot pie, is indeed small for one person and is considerably smaller then fish and chips and is more expensive. It felt like a pre ready meal. Just an average put with potential for much more.

Antony welcomed us with great service and conversation. Questions from Yanks were answered with great zeal and understanding. Great exchange and great food.

One of my favorite places in London to have a drink, right in the center, beautiful and with a great atmosphere.

Lovely venue, always friendly service and very accommodating. We visited for our work Christmas drinks and had a great time. Special shout out to Zigie (probably spelled incorrectly) for sticking with our group making sure all requests were promptly looked after. Thank you and see you soon.

Great recommendation for a Sunday in the heart of London. A proper Sunday roast at a very good price. We always expect to pay high in London, but the prices for a roast wasn’t much more than one in Sheffield. Staff were warm and friendly and had plenty of banter with us. I have seen a few negative reviews. It is a busy pub and the staff worked hard. It’s a shame people have no patience, when having to wait a few minutes more. Will definitely be going again. Ticked back away from the road, it doesn't get as much tourist foot fall. Nice spot for a quick beer when taking guests to trafalgar square.

Kind of dull in the bar area where we just had a pint. The restaurant on the lower floor seemed better.

By far the best meal I’ve had in London. The chicken pie was amazing and the mashed potatoes were deliciously fluffy.

Went on a Thursday night around 9pm for drinks with some friends, and it was very crowded and loud. Great pub atmosphere if you’re looking for something like that.

Great location (Hidden Gem) Thankfully, not "Normal" Pub food. Staff are friendly, funny, and very welcoming. Food was amazing, fresh and full of flavour. Highly recommend

This pub is really family-friendly and cozy. We took grilled chicken sandwiches which were great, served with some chips or pomme frites. I recommend it, + not to far from Big Ben.

We enjoyed the afternoon here, it’s a lovely quiet spot tucked off the main road. The food was excellent, we had sausages and mash, and the service was thoughtful and accommodating. Nice happen upon a pub that wasn’t totally crowded in the afternoon.

We found this little gem of a pub purely by chance when we left the Trafalgar Theatre matinee performance of The 39 Steps. Looking across the road we espied The Walkers of Whitehall Pub sign on the left side of a passageway directly opposite the theatre. We're so glad we did. The bar staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, especially when considering the frenetic crowds just a minutes stroll in Whitehall. I recommend the fish and chips with an accompaniment of minted mushy peas. 10/10.

Amazing food, beer and service!

Been to a lot of restaurants in my life, never had to send the food back twice before. Not sure what was worse, the couldn’t care less service or the burnt dry burger…

Popped in with friends for a post-theatre drink on Saturday night (17 August). There was an unfortunate problem with one of the drinks and it was handled very well by the female manager. Professionally resolved and with style. This manager and the barman are real assets to this pub.

Arrived at 8pm with a 13 year old girl, we ordered and paid in advance. We sit down, collect the three waters and wait for the food. After a few fractions of a second they notice the little girl and tell us to go away. Moral of the story they give me a cash refund of 80 pounds instead of 100. We leave the pub with three bottles of water in hand. 20 pounds three bottles of water that we hadn't even opened. I would have expected a full refund, I wasn't wrong, they were wrong to let me sit down to eat.

Came here for a spot of lunch when sight seeing. Service was shocking, advertised a traditional Sunday lunch and it was poor at best. Was here for about two hours and we simply ate the food and left. We were given a free round of drinks as an apology for the delay on the food. When it came it was inedible. No one came to check back so we simply paid and left. There’s plenty of places to choose in London and I choose somewhere else.

I went here about two weeks ago as a group of 10 people. We found it difficult to find somewhere to eat for a late lunch and for a party of 10. As, I approached the bar they were really friendly and were able to accommodate us on two tables near by. I had the fish and fat chips with minted mushy peas, it was, fantastic! Lovely and hot and tasty. Great presentation and they were really helpful and friendly. My phone had run out of charge and they even gave me an android phone charger. My daughters had the burger and chips and they were very happy with their meal. I would certainly recommend this pub and it had a great atmosphere. We sat downstairs which was very cosy.

It's become a tradition over the past 6 years for us to visit Walkers of Whitehall each time we're in London, as we've had great experiences every time. This time they apparently had no bitter left on tap, and no plans to attach any new kegs for the evening, which was on odd disappointment. However our server Alice was more than charming and accomodating and went out of her way to see that we had a good experience, including early access to the Trafalgar Room where we like to sit. We should have probably listened to the food recommendations we asked of her, as our own choices turned out to be fairly mediocre. What would have been a 2/5 rating this visit was boosted to 4/5 thanks to the serviceminded professionalism of the staff. But it feels really odd to go to an English pub that can't serve a single pint of bitter.

We came tonight to celebrate my friend, and to have some drinks and a dinner. We were absolutely horribly treated. The bartender met us with a sour face when we sat and wanted to order. The fact that we weren’t wanted there as guests was when he refused sell me pint of cider after I showed him my valid BRP where he could see that I am 31. Unacceptable

To escape from the crowds watching a protest march we walked down a lane and came across this pub. It seemed small from the outside but has many more seats downstairs. We managed to get seats upstairs which is typical British Pub which was enjoyed by my granddaughter who had never had a meal in a pub. The staff were friendly and the young man who served our drinks poured the best shandy I have had for a long time. All our party ordered something different and were all 100% satisfied even Miss Fussy. All in all a great find to rest from the crowds. Will go back again if in London.

It is from what our guest told us one of the best place for the famous fish and ships. Have to say that it was great and the ambient is just incredible.

Very rude service and we wanted fish&chips and they had run out of it. We had booked a table and they hadn't prepared it and wanted to put us upstairs in the high tables, where there is no space for plates and we wouldn't have been able to put the baby chair there.

A little gem in the bustling busy heart of London. The Guinness. Hubby said best pint of Guinness he has ever had. Very lovely and interesting pub!

I had lunch for the tour. It was roast chicken. It was delicious.

If you’re looking for a charming dining experience, look no further than Walker's of Whitehall. Their menu is typical English culinary fare, offering an good selection of dishes that cater to different tastes and preferences. Our selection was the Scotch Eggs, Chicken liver pate, and the Chicken Schnitzel, which were all delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making this America's visit a true pleasure. I looked at several other places and chose this because it was down a quiet alley, and the atmosphere was very quiet and intimate at a very busy time of day.

I hope for all people in London that these are not truly the best Fish'n Chips in London (as advertised). I understand that doing a job in service is not the greatest thing in the world and I do not expect happy faces every, but you also do not have to act as if your mum just died

Stopped in with a couple of friends on a Saturday afternoon, around 1pm. It looked like a cozy place and had fish & chips, so we decided to check it out. Service did start off slow and stayed that way. Food was really good, but they were out of espresso for espresso martinis, no cheeseburgers, and Lillet for the Lillet Spritz. Maybe we just visited on an off day. Probably won't be back though.

Very cool place. The Scottish Egg was amazing. The house made tartar sauce went great with the fish and chips. The fish was a smidge bland but nothing to balk at.

I have to say this is without a doubt the worst food I've ever tasted I ordered a vegetarian curry. The curry sauce was literally two teaspoons of some watery god knows what Served with pita bread and rice No point oven the bitter bread and rice cos there was no curry sauce Awful
