Food was limited (a number of items on the menu were unavailable) But otherwise service (food and drink) was good and great atmosphere for the football.

Went there with the family and the staff and everyone were so nice and attentive! The food tasted fresh and was served in a timely manor. Definitely would recommend!

Was pretty quiet on a Saturday afternoon. But over £7 for a pint or perroni is way to much even for central London. Many places within a short distance with much better prices. Not surprising it was so easy to find a table inside.

Only giving it 4/5 only because of the price. 7.20£ for a pint is quite pricey, even for London. Besides that, can't complain

Went for lunch waited 10 mins to be served as new guy was chatting in the end I think a manager popped up and asked us if we wanted a table we had booked but it wasn't busy atall 2 tables so we sat ordered 1 hr later my mac and cheese came out followed by the 5 small dishes and 2 extra we ordered it was a joke an hr I watched and wthe other 2 tables had food already and when it came out all cold we did tell girl she said oh sorry we haven't got tje staff really not my problem we wanted a nice lunch it was OK but stone cold all of it they didn't care less so we paid and left shame but what a waste of money for cold food really not happy and she should of sorted something out for us or a proper sorry maybe knocked something off oh well we go again rubbish

I have a wonderful time at The Finery today. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great drinks. But one man set The Finery apart from the other drinking establishments. His name is Ollie and he ensured we had a tremendous evening. Thank you Ollie.

Good atmosphere with a wide selection of beers, ciders, wines, and spirits . Clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was good . It is central London prices. So if you want a cheap drink this may not be for you. But then it's 2 minutes walk from Oxford circus, so you get what you pay for in terms of location. It did thin out about 9pm once the shopping/work crowd moved on. But overall, I would go back.

Very lively pub, but a good vibe. It's a big space but was very busy on Friday night, so would recommend booking.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! NEVER BEEN TO SUCH A PUB IN THE UK BEFORE! The male bartender that was there on 22nd December 2023, was difficult to deal with. My colleagues and I work in the medical field and wanted to go for a drink after work before the xmas period. The male bartender chose to ID only our group, he also suggested someone ID was expired?! How does the date of birth differ whether the ID is expired or not (As a manager, I know that all my colleagues are over 18 years as I work with them). We were all let into the pub by the bouncers anyways. He had served other people and not asked for their ID only ours, which we had. It is also funny how none of us actually look 18 either! He was being selective with who he was choosing to ID. The other bartender did not do this. I think he could do with some further training. I understand your trying to do your job, but being selective of who you ID, is rude and disrespectful. It’s ethically not correct. I probably would avoid this place going forward and would stick to holding events at THE PHOENIX

The pub is a short distance from Bond Street and Oxford Circus. The decor is clean and modern in the main bar area and downstairs is more intimate. The vibe is very young, so expect loud and busy (especially towards the weekend). It can be hard to converse with the music, but the younger crowd do not seem to be too bothered. The drink prices are typically high compared to local areas with a round of non-spirit drinks averaging between £35-40. The toilet facilities are very poor, with wet floors and paper towels scattered everywhere. The venue is not for me, but others may enjoy it.

Busy Friday afternoon end on November but able to find a table. We ordered 5 sharing dishes between 2 of us which was more than plenty. Wasn't a fan of the Pigs in Blakets with orange glaze but that's personal preference. Atmosphere got a bit more lively as afternoon turned into early evening. Biggest gripe was having to get up to shut the door on several occasions as very draughty but again that's down to the numb nuts that were born in a barn. (Maybe a "Please close the foor" sign could be put to use)

Located just off the main hustle and bustle of Oxford Street lies this lovely Greene King pub. Plenty of varied spaces either in the main bar, in the comfy lounge or downstairs (which you can hire for parties). We popped in for lunch and both had burgers which were fabulously tasty. Service was excellent and Lara really looked after us. A real find and somewhere we will definitely return to. Dog friendly too.

I ordered fish and chips and it was cooked fabulous 🤗 We was served by a wonderful gentleman called Lani who greeted us with a smile and very helpful to help us choose what meal to have

Good range of beers, nice staff, food ok. Wouldn't go back on a day when they were showing the football, was unbelievably loud, great if that's what you are there for, not so much of you just wanted a night out.

As a family group of 5 adults we stopped off after visiting nearby Swingers. The pub had a nice atmosphere plus the drinks and food were reasonably priced. We had fhe 3 starters for £15 - we ordered 6 starters but one of the starters for one of us came out significantly later than the others - the other 4 of us had by this point finished eating - that wasn't really too much of a bother but the person with the hummus, which was tasty, wanted more pitta bread - it had not come with a lot of bread for the size of the hummus so we asked for more - willing to pay for it - but despite it being 15 minutes before the food was due to stop being served the request was refused - a little bit of a shame - not a huge problem.

Best place to have a pint on a Sunday morning. Very kind bar tender.

I'm showing my age. Too loud. Don't go here for a quiet pint. Burger was top notch but smallest portion of chips I have ever seen. They serve Siren ale so not all bad. Staff were great though.

We found this place for lunch it was excellent, we had a couple of sharing dishes and they were great, luckily the staff have us a card so when we visit London again we will know where to go.

The app is risky in a Thursday night... sometimes the drinks just get lost. Also its louder than a nightclub in there, and kept getting louder. So if you want to speak to your mates your there with ... don't go in a Thursday [and I assume Froday] after 6pm.

We (2 ladies of a certain age) needed light food and drinks before an evening appointment and the Finery was recommended by a newspaper seller. We were not disappointed. We ordered the halloumi and chicken sharer and it was just perfect, especially at £14.95. The staff were attentive but not pushy. We also had coffee and wine and were surprised that the prices were less than we expected in central London.

This is a very nice-looking bar restaurant. I was very surprised to see it has a very good space everywhere. Downstairs has a pretty good-looking space for driking and dancing, maybe? The decoration is quite very appealing. Upstairs, there are some long high tables and comfy couches. At the corner, I spotted an intimate-like area next to the stairs. Spite the very high air conditioning and the noise of broken dishes and glasses at least 3 or 4 times (I thought we were in a Greek restaurant 😁) we had a great time. The selection of music was great! 🎶 This place is very near picadilly Circus and Oxford Street. Have a nice drink with your family and friends in this trendy place.

The lady serving at the bar was rude to me, then rude to another guest next to me.

First time I have visited the finery and it was a lovely experience. My family and I visited London for the weekend and we stopped off for a bite to eat and a quick drink! We were recommended the small plates and I’m so glad we were! Everything was just perfect! I was served by Oliver, I believe he was the manager (I hope that’s the right name, my memory is shocking!!) He was ever so helpful and nothing was too much for him. It’s always nice when staff actually take the time to talk. We was also a bit at a loose end so he recommended places to see which was a great touch! Service isn’t just about the food but the whole experience and I can say everything was just lovely. A wonderful end to our day! When we are back in London I will definitely be sure to stop in again!

Clearly don’t know how to stock or staff a bar. Our group had booked out the entire bar for a party and they changed plans on us last minute, didn’t open the bar downstairs at all and hardly had the staff, glassware or even a decent drink selection. Terrible service and the app on the menu doesn’t even reach their system, so don’t try ordering from it, you won’t get your food or drinks. Had to take our party elsewhere. Would never come back.

This place is an absolute embarrassment. I’m guessing the management changed recently? Understaffed, half empty shelves, the QR codes on the menus will charge you but no one gets the order. They’ll cancel your booking, ruin your party with their poor planning. We booked the bar out two separate nights for convention in town with people flying in from all over the world and they were clearly unprepared both nights. Maybe this place is alright for a mediocre weeknight drink, but don’t ask for anything too fancy, like an espresso martini or an old fashioned; they have neither the ingredients nor the knowledge to make basic drinks.

Attended an event where we booked for 250 people, was told only 100 can go in, people left on the street outside being refused entry, management was a joke, after being told if you don’t like it you can all leave so me and 249 people left and found somewhere better hope you didn’t need the £5000 we spent elsewhere, can highly recommend the founders arms, Lucy the manager was amazing 🤩

Waiting 20+ minutes for drinks at the bar and 75 minutes for a portion of chips , the doormen were downright rude werent allowing people in our party to collect their bags to leave. Would not go again.

Updated Review: We've been going to this pub regularly for over a decade. It's got a great location, good space and always has a good selection of drinks and food. We had a little strange experience on our most recent visit though that could deter us in future, if we do visit again we can reassess. There were some minor slips: an app ordered drink didn't arrive and a bar ordered replacement had lipstick on the glass rim. The pub is clearly doing well in terms of attracting patrons. The real upset was at the end of the evening. We were visiting with a newborn (quiet, immobile, clean and just overjoyed to hear and see a new environment). We sat in the corner out of the way and were sharing our table with a couple to maximise space for the venue - no problem. We had food and drinks whilst bar staff came and left our table to clear plates etc. The pub as always had a good vibe, no rowdy crowds and well mannered patrons. We were wrapping up about to leave just giving our baby a bottle before we left. A barman came to our table and said that we needed to leave as we had a child - no problem we advised that we were on our way out anyway and weren't informed of a cutoff time for children at any point. We noticed the barman immediately gesturing our way with security and within minutes we had a hi vis security guard standing over us ushering us out. The situation was amicable yet intimidating. The venue, staff, security and Greene King appeared both inconsiderate and ill-mannered, unable to judge a situation. Had we been different people this behavior could almost certainly have resulted in a provocation which is not in line with the expectations of a managed venue. We highly rate Greene King as a brand due to its ability to adapt, understand and tailor the experience to patrons - this experience is not in keeping with the investments of the brand. Perhaps the venue could take some learnings (1) to inform patrons of any cutoff time for children (note that we had an infant, this isn't a child running around screaming) (2) learn to better judge a situation, if patrons are advised to leave, are amicable and are wrapping up - a hi vis intimidating security guard is certainly not the best solution (3) the security guard may certainly be effective with a naughtier type but perhaps could take on some feedback on how to talk to and work with polite families. Unhelpfull manager and staff. Kitchen "closed" as there were "too many of us", even though the booking was made 3months ago and they knew what to expect. Clearly too lazy to want the money. There was barely 150ppl in the venue and manager+security blatently lied that it is at full capacity and refused to let anymore of our party in. Whoever was in waited on avarage of 40mins for their drink to arrive. Absolutely mindblowing how someone in hospitality would be happy with just 20ppl in their bar instead of the 200+ that will spend their money their. We were told "If you don't like it, you can leave!"

Absolutely disrespectfull. Kitchen closed as soon as they saw more than 10 people walk in. Refused to let more people of our group in althou there was clearly space. Just nasty how you would not want paying customers.

I came here with a group of others and we had booked the basement bar. The bar let the organisers know days before that they would not open that bar and we'd need to go up and down stairs for drinks. This took nobody's fitness levels into consideration. When ordering food, the wait (at time of writing), was at least 60mins; ci sidering a booking for a large group was made, they should have been prepared for this. Im not blaming the general barstaff, this is obviously coming from above them.

Really lovely place and atmosphere. However the food wasn’t that great, had the fried chicken and chips. The chicken was super Salty, which ruined the taste but the texture was lovely. I thought the portion of chips would be bigger but it looked no more than a handful. To top it off the chicken was served on a piece of dry semi toasted bread? Not sure why it was there in the first place.

My husband and I found this lovely pub by mistake and very pleased we did, it was Wednesday 28th around 1.30pm, although it was quiet this did not detract from the friendly warm welcome we received. We ordered our drinks and was asked to take a seat, and the drinks were bought to us which was nice. The barman was smiley and chatty, and made us feel very at ease. We ordered Burger and Nashville chicken, Both of which were delicious and highly recommended. A very clean spacious bar, with exceptional service from the bar man.. Thank you

Myself and friends visited this venue on Sunday 4th June, I have been here before and wanted to treat my friends while in the west end. I was not disappointed to find our favourite barman Shane on shift, he's always so welcoming and full and fun and witty banter. The drinks were flowing so we ordered the small plates, and they were scrummy. Always a warm welcome and great atmosphere. In the words of Arnie, 'I'll be back' Keep up the great work guys...

Glasses had a weird taste to them after ordering a cider, asked for a replacement & was looked at like I was an alien. Place is cool & a good hiding spot close to the station. Staff seemed a little offish.

Great little spot, central in the West End but feels like a friendly local with nice staff - we chatted to the manager Shane who was very welcoming and told us his favourites on the menu. Traditional pub choices and both of us thought the food was well cooked and good portions. Clean and tidy and a useful pitstop when shopping in town.

Popped in for lunch and drinks on a day up London. Shane and the team we're fantastic. Shane especially made us feel very welcome and looked after us. Food was so nice. Highly recommend going! We will 100% be back 😊
