Good food, good atmosphere and cheap! 4 plates 1 dessert a bottle of wine and 2 cocktails only for 60£ I’ll repeat soon :) I recommend the mousaka If you’re Spanish o Mediterranean is a perfect place to spend time with friends

It’s midweek and there are restrictions on where and how you can enjoy food and drink....well if you head over to Bistro1 you’ll find a warm welcome and tasty food. Special mention to Ilmaz for taking care of us but the whole team were good.

Usé la oferta de Groupon para cenar aquí. Era un poco escéptico, ya que parecía muy buena relación calidad-precio. ¡Nos sorprendió gratamente! ! ! Excelente vino, excelente comida, excelente servicio, excelente ubicación. Nada lujoso, solo comida básica y hogareña (solo hay hamburguesas disponibles en la oferta de Groupon) pero por el dinero que pagamos, ¡no me puedo quejar! Definitivamente lo recomendaría si está buscando pasar una noche en el corazón del Soho con un presupuesto limitado.

Fui con mi novia a una comida de Groupon que tenía dos platos y una botella de vino. Los entrantes estaban bien, pero nada especial. Nuestros platos principales que nos permitieron eran hamburguesas que estaban bien. La comida venía con "vino de la casa", que parecía ser una especie de jugo de uva mezclado con un alcohol abrumador muy fuerte que venía en una botella sin etiqueta con un color y sabor extraños. No bebas el "vino". Es horrible. Nos sentíamos extremadamente intoxicados como si bebiéramos vodka y no vino. EVITAR.

We had a lovely lunch which cost £9.90 for 2 courses, with a good choice of dishes . You could add a sweet for an extra £2, which the three of us did! The wine by the glass is also very reasonably priced. The menu, at least the first two courses, include some Turkish dishes. I particularly enjoyed my meze. However, there are also plenty of non Turkish dishes. I was slightly disappointed that no Turkish sweets were offered, although I enjoyed my Tarte Tatin . Service was friendly and efficient

Luego quiso pedir un desierto, pero no estaba segura de cuál. Después de una conversación con el personal, probó Creme Caramel, pero no le gustó. Bistro 1 offers a ridiculously good value set menu, with generous portion sizes, a good number of choices, and the three of us all enjoyed the taste of our dishes. Service is friendly and helpful and the decor with the lights is cute.

Stumbled upon this restaurant after not wanting the mass catering of many nearby restaurants so this was perfect. Small, charming restaurant, pleasant welcoming staff, swift serving of delicious food for our table of five. Would definitely recommend and return if next in area.

Booked a table at this restaurant for a friends birthday. The welcome at the door was warm and friendly. The service was excellent and matched the food. The ambiance and the atmosphere of this restaurant was calming and warm.What a wonderful little restaurant. I would highly recommend and I will definitely be returning.

Another delicious meal here at this cosy restaurant. The humous is a winner with everyone and the shish dishes were favoursome and need to be sampled. Great friendly service too.

This was a great find on our recent trip to London. We didn’t really expect much but we were pleasantly surprised. Nice tasting food and a lovely atmosphere. Lamb was probably he nicest I have tasted ever. Price was very reasonable. Seating area is a little tight but other than that all great. Service was very good. Would definitely re- visit.

We love eating in Bistro1. The food is lovely and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The Atmosphere is relaxed and with Mediterranean food and lighting, you feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of London!

This is a cosy restaurant with delicious Mediterranean food, decent house wine and great ambiance. Been here before and will revisit. Recommend the mixed meze starter. Chicken or lamb shish...a delight.

Wandered in off the street, table quickly available, very welcoming, no pressure or hassle, cosy feel on two levels, wide selection and good value fixed price meals. Very enjoyable couple of hours.

I have been going to the Bistro 1 to eat since there was a location on Southhampton St. It was always really good. However when I visited two years ago. Frith St. Looked a bit run down. I am now very happy to say that Frist St location is refurbished and the food was excellent. We really enjoyed our dinner. The service was great and the ambience was lovely. Will be back soon!

We decided to pop in and try this. We were passing and it looked clean. We did not read any reviews before hand and it was late afternoon so not busy.

We booked Bistro 1 for a family & friends get together for 13 people. Service was excellent and the 2 course lunch menu is such great value for money and tasty too. Chicken shish is delicious!

Very friendly staff. Quick service and great value at £14.90 for two courses. Tasty food and good size portions. You won’t get better value for money in this area. Two courses, sparkling water and service came to £36!

We wandered around Soho for what felt like forever trying to choose between way too many places to eat, before Bistro1 swung it based on the incredibly jolly chap pulling customers in from the street plus the gorgeous lights we could see hanging up.

Visited with a friend. Really lively noisy atmosphere, very welcoming and friendly team. The place was packed but it was a Saturday night. The food was good without being outstanding but then the price was amazing for a central London venue.

Nice place to enjoy a great dinner outside. Staff friendly, good food quickly served. The stuffed pancake with goat cheese and spinach was delicious. I recommend this place.

Another great family celebration at this characterful restaurant. Unbeatable value at £11-90 for a delicious three course lunch and wines and spirits etc at very reasonable prices for central London. Very friendly and efficient staff, and our bill for 4 people including house white, mineral water, diet cokes and two Turkish coffees came in at £80! Highly recommended

I have been recently in there with my family.Ordered filo pastry stuff called “Borek” for start,it was lovely.And had meatballs for main,it was better than i expected honestly,Juicy and tender !!! I definitelly will be back soon !!! Thanks guys for your hospitality !!

Just left this restaurant avoid at all cost toilets filthy had the vegetarian moussaka could have filled a hole in a wall with it,absolutely disgusting left most of it as it was inedible, one of those places where waiters take away uneaten plates of food and don’t bother to ask why, hmmmmm, maybe if you’re a meat eater you might have a different viewpoint but I’d advise vegetarians to avoid

Amazing food! Lamb was so tender and chicken curry full of flavour. With a lunch time menu of 2 courses for £9.90, you really cannot go wrong. Food is worth so much more!!

Can’t recommend this restaurant enough - the grilled sardines and lamb kebab are second to none. Really warm and friendly staff too. Can’t get a better value meal in Soho.

Dinner was amazing. Staff was harried and when we asked one person for something he said they were out. When another person asked he had it delivered by the guy who told us they were out. Every time we asked for something the answer was originally no until we said we would pay.

Had a quick lunch from the "set menu". The food was very good and the service friendly. In terms of value-for-money it is excellent and well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Popped into bistro 1 for the very clear sign outside the restaurant stating “special offer 2 cocktails for £14” on ordering they then state that this offer excludes weekends. On asking the bold gentleman in his black and grey shirt and pointing him to the sign he states “well I’m telling you it’s only weekends, I’m telling you!” Won’t be visiting here again, very poor attitude and false advertising. Also added the service charge without asking which I’m sure is standard in London but I certainly wouldn’t of given it if asked!

I have visited the Bistro many times and we have always had a delicious meal. I just recently ran the London Marathon and afterwards organised a meal with family and friends. We had an excellent meal which was made even better by the surperb service provided by our friendly waiter Moray. Can’t wait to visit again

Went here between watching shows, and it was such a lovely place for a family meal. The food is really reasonable and extremely tasty with generous portions! The staff are friendly and accommodating, and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend!

We were able to get an early evening booking, 5.30pm for seven people before going to see Les Miserables at the Queens Theatre, which was only round the corner. There is also a large seating area in the basement, but we were on the ground floor. Lovely lighting in the form of Turkish glass lamps of all colours, really pretty. We had a mixture of starters, deep fried brie, calamari, Turkish sausages and for main courses we chose a steak sandwich, meat moussaka, vegetarian filled pancake, and two chicken burgers and one bacon cheese burger, the latter for the teenagers. We did not have any desserts as we were all very full after our main courses. Very busy restaurant all the time we were there. It is open from morning to night and we had the impression it was a very popular venue.

We ate here before going to the theatre, 2 courses for £14.90 made it a reasonably priced meal, the food was absolutely delicious. We both had a fish starter and a fish main and the food was well presented and piping hot. What a great find, I will definitely return.

We always visit Bistro 1 whenever we go to London. The food is always good as is the choice of menu and the price. The staff are so helpful and friendly. We have made friends with Amir who has been there many years he always makes us welcome as did Noray (who is a newer member of staff). Semih was very efficient as well as friendly. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We ate there the two days we were in London. Looking forward to the next time. Keep up the good work!

We visited this restaurant on a travel zoo deal and were really impressed. The food and service were excellent. We were served by Noray and he was really nice and friendly. They also had a waiter who had started that day and he was excellent too.

Sono a Londra con un amico per divertimento. Eravamo a Soho per un Japo e siamo stati coinvolti da un uragano di nome Norai. Esce questo uomo bello in carne con il suo savoir faire ci convince ad entrare. Locale molto carino con dei lampadari molto scenografici.

The owner of this restaurant gave us a very friendly welcome which was a good start. Service excellent, food really good and overall a very pleasant afternoon. We were even offered a drink on the house but unfortunately we had to leave for our show. Will definitely be returning in the not too distant future.

Came here for dinner with family before seeing Rich Hall at the Leicester Square theatre. Haven't been for a while and unchanged since we last came, which is good. Food value for money. Husband very happy with his sardines. lots of V and VE for daughter. Free glass of wine/beer with two courses - see their website. I must admit I forgot about this place for a while but having now been re-acquainted it's back on my list of reasonable and friendly London eateries. OK it's not fine dining but the moussaka hits the spot and who can refuse deep fried brie....

Exceptional value and food quality. Delightful staff, and you even get bread and olives included! Look no further for an excellent lunch or dinner in the heart of Soho, and ideally situated for a meal before attending a West End show.

Really enjoyed our first visit to Bistro 1 when we went to see Aladdin at Prince Edward Theatre - quite quiet at 12.00 when we went in but was nearly full when we left - Enjoyed Mixed Mezes Hummus Falafel Tzatziki Dolma (stuffed vine leaves), Borek (Filo Pastry filled with Feta) and Kisir (Bulgur Wheat with Tomato and Parsely) One Melon starter - Beef Bourgignon on Mash, Sea Bream with Salad, Flattened Lamb Sandwich in Seeded Bread Roll with Chips - Tea and two cappuccinos before and after - all for £48.00 - good value, excellent food, friendly staff- well worth a visit!!

We had lunch at the Bistro on Saturday. A warm welcome, amazing ambiance, delicious food, best wine, caring service. A two course lunch for £6.90! Yes it is true £6.90, including Boeuf Bourguignon! The best place to eat in London with an extensive menu.

Siamo entrati perché da fuori sembrava molto carino. Accolti molto bene da una ragazza molto carina e sorridente. Il cibo non era buono purtroppo. Salmone accettabile con delle verdure che nemmeno erano state scongelate bene, carne così così... Gli starters non eccezionali. Due starters due piatti due bicchieri di vino... Cinquanta pound. Peccato per il cibo.

We have been visiting Bistro 1 for around twenty years-sadly this is the last out of four branches that we have visited. Friendly staff, exceptionally well priced food that has always delivered. There is a good range of Mediterranean food and extra olives and bread for the table. Always worth a visit.

Great Mediterranean food. Good deals for 2 course and 3 course meals. Had the lamb kebabs and they were delicious. Plenty of chilli sauce! Tiramisu for dessert. The service was excellent. Choice of indoor and outdoor seating. Located on Frith Street in the heart of Soho.

Had a group of friends with me in London and met some other friend in Bistro..... 11 all together, Food was great.... Recommend the meatballs and they served us quickly accommodated the group questions and dietary needs very well..... All happy. Two course meal for £16 per head in Soho is very good..... Portions great as was the atmosphere and service...... I would go there again. My only complaint was the rather smelly gents toilet.....

A great place to get a wide range of mediterranean foods all of which looked and tasted amazing. The set menus are full of great choices and the staff were attentive informative anf friendly. The price for a london restrurant are amazing. The atmosphere is freindly and welcoming. If youy are in this area of London you will not go far wrong if you eat here,we cetainly will be using iut agagin and again.

Estivemos neste restaurante para o jantar. Eles tem bons preços para menu completo de 2 ou 3 pratos. Pedi uma entrada de brie à milanesa com geléia de frutas vermelhas maravilhoso. E como prato principal pedi Moussaka vegetariana que também estava saborosa. Os pratos são bem servidos.

It’s a cheap restaurant with, what seemed to be, a good menu. The service was awful. Staff was running through the restaurant, and manager was shouting at everyone constantly. The food arrived very quickly but it was very dry and not tasteful. It even came without a side dish. Wouldn’t recommend going here!

We ate here before going to see Aladdin. The menu was varied and, for this area, very reasonably priced. Our food arrived quickly and was tasty, even though our food arrived fast we weren't made to feel rushed to eat and leave, there was a very nice amotmosphere and we liked the decor too. We would definitely eat here again.

I'm not going to bore everyone with what we ate and all that kind of stuff. We had the 3 course meal, bottle of fizz and a cocktail each and it came to under £80. For me that's not bad, especially in London on a night out.

Mi fiesta cada uno tenía diferentes platos principales y cada uno fue decepcionante. El lugar necesita un replanteamiento!

Tuvimos una cena temprana aquí en el intervalo de Harry Potter / Cursed child y disfrutamos la comida. A un precio razonable (para Londres) con un buen menú y un personal atento. Sí, es bastante compacto, sin embargo, la brecha entre las tablas significa que aún podría tener una conversación privada. Lovely post theatre show lunch. The waiters and waitresses couldn’t have been more accommodating of our group of 8 adults and 8 kids age 6-9. Booking was easy, atmosphere lively, food tasty, definitely recommended.

Have walked past this place on and off for years but saw a Groupon voucher deal so decided to give it a go.

A large group of us visited for a late lunch on Saturday. The lunch time menu was very reasonably priced and there was a great choice. Something for everybody. Our group ranged from 16-63 and everybody enjoyed what they chose to eat.

2 courses for £14.90 or 3 for £16.90 Good sized portions, delicious food and lovely staff. Lovely cocktails as well.

Today I went here at 9am opening. They were late opening but I was willing to wait. Unfortunately the owner refused to serve me. When j asked when they would be ready to serve she just refused saying she had to fix the tables. I was very disappointed in her rude behaviour as I was nice and willing to return. She just flat out refused my business. In turkey people are so friendly and lovely...guess this bunch have been in London too long and lost the charm.

Very tasty food offering good value but, but, but such a pity about the Scores on Doors rating so although we have enjoyed our visits we will not be going back until they improve their rating

On a whistle-stop two day tour of London I pre-booked Bistro 1 based on prior feedback and general food options for a family of four, with two older teenagers.

Consistently good menu and quality. Excellent customer service, friendly and attentive staff. Quick service, but not too fast. Always a squeeze, but that's how they keep the prices extremely competitive for a central London restaurant. The pudding we ordered was a little slow in coming, so when it came we got a complementary Amaretto shot. Nice! Love the meat Moussaka!

We visited Saturday afternoon in between cursed child part one and two - pleased we booked as everywhere was busy. Menu offered something for everyone (even my fussy husband !) table of 4 - we all raved about our food and was surprised how reasonably the bill was. The only down side was that it is quiet small and tables were very close to one another but would defiantly visit again - I highly recommend this restaurant
