Great service. Our waitress was very polite and helpful. Coffee was nice, food was ok. I ordered a full English and it was served cold. Cold scrambled eggs, beans, etc. plates were cold too. It’s a small thing but could have changed that breakfast around just to warm the plates before serving up.

Arrived thirsty at 15.30 on a hot Friday afternoon only to find 15 people waiting for the pub to open. After one guy knocked on the door we were told this pub does not open till 16.00 and the door closed again 🤔😳. Half the people moved on to find somewhere else to buy a pint

We recently visited Salcombe Dairy and were absolutely delighted! The ice cream was rich, creamy, and full of flavour with a wide variety of flavours to choose from —easily some of the best we’ve had. While we were there, we noticed the Easter egg decorating workshop and decided to let the children join in. They had an absolute blast! It was such a fun, creative experience and really well-organised. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. Between the delicious ice cream and the engaging Easter activity, it was a perfect outing for the whole family. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area—especially around the holidays when they run these kinds of events!

Great little farm shop, good stop for coffee and breakfast, a little lacking in stock .Great fresh fish addition .We camped here too , separate business now , campsite was clean and functional and expensive for what it offered £50 for 2 adults 2 dogs a child aged 13 and fire pit and logs ,Quiet site bit of road noise .

Went for breakfast this morning at 9.30am and I was so impressed! The food was delicious and good value for the quality they are offering. The lady who served us was so welcoming and helpful. We had children with us and she was really good with them and tailored our order. The mystery to me is why it was quiet. There was one other table occupied when we we there and as we left at 11am another table was being taken. The Gallery is clearly Barry’s best kept secret and really deserves to be busy because the food and service and surroundings are perfect. I will definitely be back and would recommend it to everyone.

Lovely little café selling hot drinks, cakes and breakfast/brunch. The staff were really nice and helpful! They also have good vegan options, which I really appreciate, especially for such a small town café :) The flapjack was good — not too sugar-y like many flapjacks are. Couldn’t resist also getting some handmade earrings from the range of art/crafts/food gifts on sale.

Service was lovely. Environment was cosy. Menu choices were good. Options are not expensive. Hash browns needed to be more crispy, and the sausages are bland (perhaps change the brand) Guacamole was made to order and needed salt, but took a long time. Something like this can be premade in the morning. Smoothie made fresh and was easy to drink. Would recommend for a cheap brunch!

First time here, another lovely hidden pub away from the main square and worth a visit. Traditional decor was great and all the furnishings- felt like such a warm environment to be in. Felt local and calm. Would return here. Music volume- not too loud or quiet- just right when you enjoy a conversation.
