Very nice!! Lovely little “diner” experience to be had here. It’s not umm really a diner as no table service to order food but… Really enjoyed it & definitely going again.

Fab little place and one of the only ones open on railway road called in for breakfast and got Nutella waffles and large decaf tea. Fab portion sizes and prices can’t get a large brew for under £2 in most places now but you can here. They’ve got an amazing menu with lots to choose from and good veggie options at an affordable price point. Love the interior feels like a proper diner lovely comfy seating with plenty space and very clean. Staff were lovely and couldn’t do more to help. Would deffo be coming back!

The food was ok! It filled a hole. I crave pie a lot so it hit a spot. And the plate portion was nice and big! Always see people raving about it online so had to try it. May try it again to try a diff meal.

Make sure you bring a woolly hat and warm jacket as they won't put heating on. It was really cold inside. We had to leave without finishing our breakfast as the next table little monkey was behaving so badly. I don't blame the owners or staff for that. Only parents of that child are to blame. My sandwich was ok. My girlfriends English breakfast was average.

Called in today 22nd nov for a small breakfast and tea. The food was delicious. Nice decorated, clean cafe. I have to point out that the lady behind the counter, who took my order, with the dark hair in a bun and glasses, is an absolute credit to the place.

Do not order takeout breakfast. They put it in a soggy cardboard box, by the time it’s home the cardboard has melted onto the food 😷 soggy gross bad quality won’t be coming again!!!!

Discovered this place last Saturday. The breakfast was great and nice and quick service.

Called in for breakfast yesterday had to wait 50 minutes for food even tho the cafe had some empty seats and most in there were eating, had to change to take away as we ran out of time, ordered 2 small breakfasts with well done bacon and 1 had mushrooms, when we opened the trays the bacon was pink and stringy which I hate, definitely not well done and the mushrooms were mostly stems that looked awful

1st time at the diner, takeaway breakfast was excellent, good value, top food, lovely staff, recomended. Will visit again soon. Thank you.😉

Would if been 5 star if beans and mushrooms hotter, tea bag left in cup !! ...Good breakfast though 👍

The hash browns were rubbery and had too much onion, the bread was very chewy, beans were fine, bacon was good, eggs were okay, mushrooms were fine. Either way definitely wouldn't be returning for more.

Cracking diner, a real Leigh gem

If you're in the leigh area and fancy a breaky go here you won't be disappointed. They do a really nice cappuccino as well.

9 of us went for breakfast. Everyone loved their food. Very good value too. Really clean and friendly. Can recommend the mega breakfast, the omelette and the children's menu.

Not had a really nice English breakfast for ages, I had the " three of a kind" can't eat like I used to so this was very filling, very clean and modern environment, drinks are relatively cheap compared to most coffee places and tastes great (caramel latte) Would highly recommend 👍🏻

Vee slow staff our drinks didn't come until 15mins after ordering food an 45 minute wait for food then toast came had we had nearly eaten our breakfast.

Waited 2 hours for a breakfast and coffee both arrived cold charged £15 absolute joke it was dinner time by the time it arrived.

Amazing food, reasonably priced, friendly staff - they need to learn how to make STRONG milky coffee's though, they are always boiling hot/undrinkable for 20 minutes. Best food around by miles! EDIT:. Gone way downhill, ask for well done and it's still always barely cooked. Currently waited 35 mins for a coffee that's still not come! And the shop isn't rammed! Wow.

Both of our breakfasts were undercooked, all of it almost raw tbh had to throw it in the bin. Pancakes were burned, asked for honey on them and got Nutella. Wasn't that nice tbh. Shame really as the place looks nice, but looks are deceiving.

My son treated me today to a takeout breakfast from Uncle Ste's .... (am not well anymore so barely go anywhere so treats consist of takeout's etc) never eaten from here before !!! And oh my goodness my son wasn't wrong about the food!! So well cooked such great quality food products and damn so so tasty!! Everything was perfect!! AND GREAT CHOICES AND FANTASTIC VALUE FOR MONEY..And it's now one of my new favourite places to eat!! The food was so fresh and Hot!! ( my son Had a Maccys recently delivered and it was stone cold and tasted horrible even ended up throwing it away!) So Uncle Ste's you now have a major fan!! Thank you .. My friends are coming stay with me soon from Staffordshire I can't wait for them to taste your DELICIOUS food! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆+ !!

Called in for Sunday breakfast And ordered 2 Sunday lunches to take away! After 30 mins of waiting our breakfasts arrived, unfortunately I ordered poached eggs instead of the usual fried . Big mistake they where well under cooked and still raw putting us both off the breakfast. Trying to be optimistic I got home checked the Sunday lunches I ordered and to my dismay one of them was completely wrong!! Fuming is not the word !! The place closed half an hour ago!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 . We will try somewhere different next week.

Used to come here often but haven’t for a while. Have to say the staff and food hasn’t changed but the decor has had an uplift with new tables and chairs. Very nice. Always been good value

Great lunch with a friend. Tables weren’t cleared quickly and needed cleaning. Booth we were in was a bit tight on space. Food was great though - hunters chicken v tasty. Nice chips as well. Service was friendly enough.

It was a busy Saturday morning but the service was very quick. Also the kitchen area that we could see looked clean. However it was very noisy with loud music blaring out on top of all the other hustle and bustle of the place. The staff were not exactly friendly or helpful and the food was mediocre, poor quality and quite greasy.

I got a english breakfast delivered with a milkshake and fresh orange juice. it was nice and still quite warm on arrival. will be ordering again next time i have a sunday hangover.

Went for a breakfast today and was greeted very friendly and politely. It was great to see it busy and people supporting local businesses. The wait on the food was not long at all despite it being busy and it was hot, fresh and very filling. ( I had the mega breakfast). A great team of three who serve hot great food quickly and with a smile. Will be visiting again.

Just been sampling the delights at the revamped Uncle Ste’s Diner. The revamp looks stunning, a lot of work has obviously gone into this project and well worth the effort. The owners are really friendly and helpful and the food, what can I say.........delicious as always. I’ve only lived in Leigh 4 years and only had GREAT meals at Uncle Ste’s Diner. From sandwiches and light meals, full English breakfasts, roast dinners and everything in between, never been disappointed. Get yourself down to Railway Road, Leigh and see for yourself. As they say, “The proof of the pudding..........”

Mega breakfast was amazingly filling. All the food was well priced and good to eat. Everyone walks outwith full bellies.

The newly refurbished diner is still as good as before with great food and friendly service. This is the best breakfast I've had outside of my own kitchen.
