Visited 2 days in a row. Stunning food. Clean, spacious seating. Friendly and prompt service. Free parking outside. Highly recommended.

Nice cosy small pub on the most famous street in York.

Normally go to the one in StarCity. Tried this one and it never missed. Quality of desserts and shakes were 10/10. Wouldn’t think twice about visiting this place again!

Lovely service. Great food. Had the poached eggs and avocado on corn cakes. The eggs were a little overcooked, and where replaced straight away, no fuss, no questions asked. Great service.

Seriously tasty fish and chips. Both cod and haddock were of a generous size, beautifully flaky and white, and with crisp but not overly greasy batter. Chips were spot on too.

We stayed at the 2 mills cottage just over two weeks ago with our little family as we were travelling 4 hours for a little holiday get away and eloping in secret! The cottage is absolutely stunning and so comfortable, ourselves and our children did not want to leave. We had food at the Ley arms on our first evening and it was gorgeous and very filling! The staff were lovely and really helpful too We had such a magical time (and the weather was really on our side!) We cannot wait to come back soon and so glad such a stunning place can be a part of our memories but also somewhere beautiful for us to continue to visit as a special place, thank you! Xx

A wonderful pub, great home cooked food using local produce and selection of beers on tap with friendly service. Will return.

Simply outstanding!! From the moment you are greeted to happily offering a generous tip " The Shack " in Falmouth is a must for all sea food lovers! The food, the flavours, the portion sizes, the choice, the price.. all just great value! If it was closer this would be our local go to most weekends. Nothing to fault here! Had drinks here, they were nice, but lost stars as no where to change baby and getting advised to change on toilet floor isn’t good enough.
