Fantastic restaurant with an amazing menu, definitely can get busy but don't let the queue put you off it moves fast and the food is defined worth it.

Modern cafe. Stopped for coffee, stayed on for lunch. Attentive waiter. I had philby steak baguette.

We ate here twice this weekend & it was perfect both times.

This is my second time here and the food quality and service attitude are both satisfactory. We will definitely come back again.

We came with some friends who have been living in Manchester for a couple of years and by far it is the best place we have had breakfast. Very good service, good quantities and everything very delicious. I recommend savory over sweet, but I've tried the pancakes and they are very good.

One of the best cooked breakfasts I've ever had. We got a full English and a vegan breakfast and both were great. The best fried mushrooms I've ever had on a fry up. We went twice in a row on a short break in Manchester, service was quick even when busy and food came out quickly even after saying a 10 minute wait on foods. Not loads of vegan options but the vegan breakfast was very good.

Really nice cafe, gets very busy especially at weekends. A large selection of food on the menu, only ever been for breakfast and had an omlete, which was well filled with you choice of extras.

Staff were friendly but service was a little slow (even had to ask for the bill a second time after nearly 10 mins after the first ask despite queues outside waiting for tables). Sausage sandwich on sourdough bread was lovely, really enjoyable. Poached eggs on toast came to the table cold. They brought out another plate, put salt on but the salt pot wasn’t crushing the salt, so ended up over the food as rock salt. As food already replaced once wasn’t going to say anything a second time, so picked off what we could and ended up leaving half. Toilets not very clean. The checklist in there says they are checked once a day (not hourly), but the toilet in question hadn’t been checked for over 48 hours, which explained the state it was in. Would happily come back for the sausage sandwich mind.

Been looking forward to going to this place. Always looks busy. Have to say I was really disappointed. Firstly the girl who initially seated us and took the order didn't seem to like her job or us. The other staff who served us were lovely. Food really tasteless. Scrambled eggs looked like raw chicken and were done in the microwave. Grandads sausages were the size of my little finger. I am quite greedy but did not eat a lot of it.

Lovely find just minutes away from the arndale centre. Always come here when visiting Manchester. The coffee is lovely too. V friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Busy Saturday morning but we was seated quickly. Juices were fresh and food was delicious. Only disappointed was the coffee it tasted like they was form vending machine which was quite surprising.

In Manchester for Peter Kaye gig, saw this was recommended on trip advisor so thought we'd give it a try. Brilliant vibe in there, excellent food served hot, friendly staff and friendly customers too, everyone seemed to be enjoying this place! Would highly recommend!

Been here a few times and never fails to please me. We had the bacon sausage and egg on sourdough toast and it was yummy as always! The staff are attentive and friendly and food is fresh and tasty.

My partner and I stumbled upon this and were so glad we did. It was a lovely little find and we will be back again. It offers everything you could want for breakfast and brunch and it's all day too. If you have a late check out and miss breakfast like we did, just go here. I ordered huevos rancheros and it was delicious. The prices are excellent and I was extremely pleased to see there was no service charge forced on us. It gets the full 5 stars from me. 🙂

We've been there several times for breakfast. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and the service was quite good. There's a few tables to sit outside too. Definitely recommended. ☺

5 out of 5 for everything. Service was impeccable. Quick, attentive and good recommendations. Clean and bright, although rather generic decor. Food was amazing. Pancakes were one of the best in Manchester. Will definitely come again and won’t hesitate to bring others. Cafe North highlights that you don’t need to be special or have any insta pull- just serve amazing good quality food and people will come.

Wow! Came after a friend had a brilliant experience here with an accessible waiter called Mark who knew BSL Level 2. It was just mind blowing! Food was tasty and really hot. Perfectly cooked and friends really enjoyed the food!

Lovely Oreo French toast with flat white. I'm Deaf and communicate using app, but made my visit worthwide when member of staff (Mark) Will tell my friends about it.

It was all fine, but nothing special. The smoked salmon had a noticeable defrosted quality which unfortunately impacted the texture, and the eggs were IMO a bit over poached. The servers were completely overwhelmed - not their fault, it was Good Friday and very busy, management should have anticipated and called in more staff. It did mean that the wait times to be seated, order and pay, were longer than you'd hope. Everyone was friendly and it was a nice, bustling spot to sit. I'd consider coming back for just a coffee.

My family and I visited for brunch following a stop over locally. It’s an unassuming cafe in a great location. I defy anyone not to find something they like on the menu. We had French toast with strawberries and Nutella, pancakes with fruit, toast with bacon, a fruit bowl and a panini. All lovely. No complaints over the drinks either. My cousin likes her americano very strong and I like my cappuccino weak - the staff were accommodating 😊 The walls were covered with pictures of bands and local areas - all reasonably priced in nice frames - I bought one the remember our trip by. Will revisit

I have been going to this place since it opened. No nonsense caffe with good food and pleasant staff. Don’t know why people. Queue round the corner at federal this place another level spot on brekky again.

Recently visited this cafe for breakfast and appreciated the variety of breakfast options available. We tried the egg benedict and shakshuka, which were decent but not particularly memorable. The coffee was also average. Overall, it's a decent spot for breakfast with a couple of options to choose from.

First visit, had a great impression. Went on Monday morning so it wasn’t busy. I ate the granola bowl and it was yummy. The yoghurt was very thick. And the cappuccino was actually hot. I usually don’t trust independent cafes with making good coffee but this one was well made. The music choice is good too; not too loud, nor too quiet. I’d be open to coming here again in the future to try another food.

Didn't have food just coffees and other drinks. They were nice coffees and other drinks. I think my sister in law had a peppermint tea or something weird. She liked it very much.

Tasty food, great location,nice ambience, descent prices.

The cappuccino coffee is very smooth and sweet. The restaurant is equipped with a full-length floor-to-ceiling glass window on the triangular window on the road. The wide view adds a lot to the restaurant. The entire restaurant is not crowded, and the arrangement of tables and chairs adds to the texture of the restaurant.

We met friends here for breakfast. Our first visit. The large breakfast, poached eggs on toast, sausage muffin and poached eggs and smoked salmon were excellent. The staff were friendly and there was a good atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Will definitely call again

Nice food as always with more choices than other cafes in the area while prices were reasonable. Value for money indeed. The cafe was busy but not as busy as some others with long queues. This was good as we could stay there long and no staff would urge you to check the bill. Cafe north has always been and is still my favourite.

I would like to say how very kind the staff were today iv been struggling to make ends meet and I haven't eaten in 48 hours the staff gave me a sandwich and I can't express how grateful I am I hope you all have a wonderful life and I am truly grateful for them thanks so much . Thomas

Had a lovely brunch yesterday. Such friendly and prompt service. Simple bacon and egg sandwich on bloomer toast for the hubby and eggs benedict for me. Both were excellent 👌 We would definitely visit again.

One of the best places to have breakfast at Manchester. We had veg & vegan breakfast. Very courteous staff & food service. The ambience too is superb.

Came here for brunch. The food was delicious but unfortunately the same could not be said for the service. We was sat ignored for ages. Don’t think I will return.

Saturday brunch hot spot. We were queuing out the door for a good 15 minutes, but it was worth the wait. Excellent menu selection. I went for the poached eggs with spinach and added halloumi and a hash brown. It was very tasty. Also helped my friend finished off the pancakes with blueberries, maple syrup and bacon. The pancakes were so light and tasty, would definitely have those myself on a future visit! 👌🏻

I've been going to Café North for over 5 years. Staff are always there and helpful. Though the value isn't as great when I first visited, it still is great value for money, particularly for the location. I've had several items on the menu that have all been tasty. The small menu changes have been fine, although I am disappointed in the changes to the Avocado on Toast - the sliced Chilli really bought the dish together. They don't use Yorkshire tea, which personally isn't for me. The coffee and the juices are superb.

Was in Manchester for a long weekend went here for breakfast on 3 consecutive days, great place food and service cannot be faulted , would highly recommend

Very friendly environment and staff, the food came fast. The food was tasty and fresh 🙂 I just felt that the soup wasn’t a soup and the americano was not Arabica. If it wasn’t then I recommend to change it 😊 otherwise it’s very lovely place and people 👍

I had a meal here this morning, I was told that with vegetarian breakfast to avoid the sausages but the quorn burgers were ok to eat as they didn't contain gluten. This was in fact a lie, I'm now experiencing severe pain and having a gluten flare up. Please educate your staff on what products have gluten in as you can severally harm people and their bodies.

Brilliant food, great portion size and the service is on point! What more do you want? This place is definitely worth a visit.

Really nice place for breakfast... So much to choose from, couldn't make my mind up. The cooked breakfast was lovely, vegetarian options as well. I had the pancakes with crispy bacon and blueberries, it was nice. Coffee was really good It's quite a large space and has a really nice atmosphere, service was good

Lovely place for brunch! I had the soup of the day which was delicious and really good value for money. The cafe is large so even when it’s busy, you still get a good sense of your own space, it’s a nice atmosphere! The service was also incredibly welcoming and friendly
