A polished, elegant Afternoon Tea experience. Welcoming and professional team serving quality produce with a few tasty surprises. All presented with style and panache.

I popped in here today and I’m sorry but disappointed in what was on offer. I didn’t find them particularly welcoming. My baguette (Brie, cranberry) had limited filling. The daily soup (parsnips and chilli) wasn’t very flavourful. The baguette that cake with the soup I don’t think they could have put any less butter on it. I was the only customer, cane in during lunchtime and they seems distracted/rushed. Just a shame but sorry won’t be going back. The baguettes were fresh and they were good.

Visited honeybees to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We had a lovely afternoon tea, the cakes were so good! Staff were friendly and we had good service. I would certainly recommend.

The variety of international street food options creates a delightful blend, set within a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. It's great value for the quality offered. Don't miss out on the must-try Malaysia laksa and tantalizing Thai dishes!

WHAT A GEM OF A PLACE. Exceptional waitress service, going that extra mile, apart from being totally professional, the waitress, even cut the tops of the sachet tops off, making them easy to remove contents. We ordered two large cod and chips, curry sauce and two cans of soft , well chilled drinks. The food looked amazing when it arrived at our table. Lovely light crispy battered cod plentiful non greasey chips. The curry sauce was second to none. If you have not eaten here, you really don't know what you are missing. High quality fish. Spotlessly clean restaurant, staff equally well presented. Clean toilet, Can't recommend this place highly enough. Best fish we have had in years. Just excellent all round. Thankyou.

Lovely quality English breakfast & choice of homemade cakes. Large portions. Excellent value. Chocolate fudge included with tea & coffee, which is a lovely touch. Looks like a husband/wife team. Husband very welcoming & attentive, but wife on the two occasions we have visited was so narky towards her husband, the constant bickering very off putting.

Lovely village with lots of walks around BUT residents don't like visitors parking, especially silly lady at No1 (5th house on left), so please park legally when you visit, ldeally outside No1, bless...

Just before Christmas we visited this restaurant and had an exceptional meal. We decided to return for birthday celebrations so last night six of us arrived expecting more of the same. What a transformation! Style over substance is now the order of the day! I had a crayfish salad for starters, three mouthful and it's gone. For the main course three of us had lambshank and three had haddock parcels. The lambshank were plonked in a bowl with a few pieces of random vegetables floating in the bottom. The haddock looked nice but also was insubstantial. No set course menu so a la carte prices which represented poor value for money. Won't be rushing back here!!!

Stumbled across this place next to the opticians and needed to kill time. Only popped in for a drink and was greeted by lovely staff who offered a broad range of drinks including smoothies and milkshakes and special lattes. The lady recommended a milkshake and I chose the pineapple milkshake. Sounds like an odd choice but this was the best milkshake I’ve ever had. It was perfectly creamy and icy and the pineapple almost made it taste like caramel or something from my childhood. If I could drink this every day for dessert I would. I hope they are open the next time I find myself in the area

A really enjoyable meal. The restaurant is very small but this enables the one front of house staff member to be fully hands on and attentive without being overbearing. The set menu was excellent with each dish very carefully prepared and well presented and great care was taken to ensure that our gluten free member was catered for accordingly. Two of our group had the pairing wines which were well chosen and presented with a most knowledgeable verbal description. My only gripe is the fact that alongside certain of the set menu courses you are offered additional items to supplement your meal and which inevitably leaves one to question at the outset whether the menu offers sufficient food ( it does!) I do believe therefore that a set menu should be precisely that albeit of course you can offer alternatives for one or more of the courses.

From the outside this place doesn’t look much. However once you get inside it is a hidden gem, the service is friendly and warm and the choice of food is amazing. The presentation of the food is wonderful as is the quality and the price. A wide range of different foods means there should always be something for you. It is not expensive and absolutely should be a place you add to visit
