I’ll come here every Friday when I am having my clinic at the road. The welcome is always warm and friendly, the winter soups warming and delicious, the salads generous and nutritious, the baked potatoes filling and, the icing on the cake, their freshly squeezed orange and apple juices are simply the best. Tessekur ederim 😊.

I was extremely shocked when I asked for a pot of hot water with my tea to be told I would have to pay £1 for extra hot water (I don’t have milk as drink my tea black). I have been to lots of cafes and never been charged for extra hot water .. in fact in the majority of cafes you are given a pot without asking. The waitress was so apologetic and admitted she was embarrassed having to tell customers. I feel it is totally unnecessary and next time I visit Pooley Bridge I’ll take my custom elsewhere.

I have in the past wrote a nice review about this cafe all that ended today I ask for a children egg on toast would happily paid extra for it but was told no i have a medical problem so can not eat much we ordered to drink my was wrong ask for it to be changed then was shout at and told to leave i expanded i had a medical problem and was told i should have just told her .then the manager shout just get out and don't come back well I have never felt so upset in a cafe when into a much nicer cafe and had our lunch leave this place alone

We have visited a couple of times. Lovely fish and chips. I really enjoyed my meal. My mum ordered the gluten free haddock. She thought it was delicious. She has really missed good fish and chips. We will definitely be visiting again 😊

Very busy country pub for a Sunday lunch, lovely to see. Great condition beer, good selection of other drinks. DIY Bloody Mary was a nice touch. Food service was lightning fast, very impressive. The food was as a whole delicious - a couple of niggles, the roast potatoes were bland bland bland, such a shame when everything else was very good. Also, given dessert menus and promptly forgotten about, we had to leave without desserts as our table time ran out (a table of 6, that's a bit of a loss). BUT we all enjoyed our meals very much. Will return

Just visit, no more words are needed, best to book mind as always busy. We just popped in for drinks and they were great.

Just incredibly consistent we’ve been coming here for ten years plus for work Christmas parties, romantic meals and when friends come to see us as our go to place that’s lovely! Came here last night for valentines, food was just superb every course was delicious the staff chefs and owners just do it perfectly And last night was no exception just lush Thanks again everyone

First time visiting The Pantry Fine Foods and as the saying goes, it does what it says (on the tin) ... best summed up as a hint of USA but the best of Brit versions of USA food which remains, better than actual USA scran. It's easy to understand why the place was packed...but the service was, spot on. Go and enjoy the enthusiastic servers and clearly, most capable chefs who worked tirelessly to maintain obvious satisfaction throughout the restaurant.

Came in for a late dinner, was warned of the time service shut multiple times to make sure we could get our orders in on time. Decor and atmosphere was lovely. Wine list was extensive and had great choices. We got quite a few small dishes between us and were all very tasty. Would definitely recommend!

Had delicious main and dessert from the specials menu. Usually eat out at local French bistro but tried here as it’s closer to home. The food was exceptional and very affordable and won out over our usual choice. Great ambience, friendly staff, good wine and beer. We would definitely recommend and will be back very soon.

Nice friendly staff .clean and tidy..toilets.play area.parking onsite..do dinner time menu as well as main menu..plenty of choices on both menus..do kids menu as well..hot and cold food and drinks..desert tea coffee..all types of alcohol and wine..

Tiny portions and bland atmosphere

I didn't stay there so don't know about their rooms but recently had a meal there with 11 family members. They were very busy but the service was brilliant. Very professional staff and everyone enjoyed their meals.
