The food is absolutely brilliant for the local chippy, all freshly cooked and always correct. This place is now our No1 chip shop and is the best in yeovil

Tried this Fish and Chip shop for the first time this evening and was delighted by the quality of the food and the pleasant nature of all the staff. Telephoned through our order and collected in the clean, tidy shop . Fish, chips, fish cake , chip's and curry sauce were all lovely and the pea fritter was probably the best I have ever tasted. The menu has loads more options than most Fish and Chip shops and we will definitely be returning very soon.

I read a recent review that wasn't very positive (you can't please everyone I suppose!), however my experience was overwhelmingly good. Ordered three lots of fish and chips along with fish cake and chips. The fish was cooked in a fantastic batter, light, crispy and non greasy. The chef (owner) tested the tempreture of the fish to make sure it was cooked to perfection. The chips were also very good. My daughter had the fish cakes and was not dissapointed. I for one will be revisting this fish and chip shop and have highly recommended it too!

Waited so long for our food. It wasn't very nice either. Chips were cold, peas were tasteless , the only thi g going for it was the white of the cod. Rest note brilliant.

Cranford Avenue
A great experience once again. 5th time at The Avenue and it never fails to deliver first class food and service. The students are a credit to the college. Their enthusiasm and attention to detail make the experience a real pleasure. We thoughally enjoyed the lunch and experience as usual and can't wait to return in the very near future.

Easton SquareMixed review: A warm and friendly welcome, clean and tidy. Day one: breakfast was lovely, all appeared freshly cooked so it took a little longer, the food was nice and of great value. Feel like there was a whole can of beans for the 'beans on toast' and it was piping hot. The pot of tea was plentiful The 'coffee' milkshake was more like warm milk, not the best. Day two: ordered the thick shake this time - meant to be with ice cream and so thought that would make it cooler and tastier - wrong, it was the same as the previous visit with cream and sprinkles - not the best (if you want a nice thick iced coffee, visit the White Stones cafe). The food took a bit longer again as it was Sunday and busy. The mushroom on toast was cold but we were on a time crunch, so we couldn't send it back. The taste was nice, just cold and the black pudding was a bit on the rubbery side. Everyone else enjoyed theirs.

11A Trinity StreetWe stopped by Portland as tourists from the USA. We got a scone, slice of cake, and two coffees, and they were some of the best we’ve had in Europe! The staff were friendly and helpful too.

Blue CafeEasily accommodated 8 of us on a busy wet day. Great breakfast all around, milkshakes amazing. Service friendly and speedy. Can’t get better value.
