Deli 98 in Haringey

What an excellent introduction to Kosher food. Whilst having a wonder through Stamford Hill, I went into a nice Jewish supermarket called Carmels. I started chatting with a gentleman in the queue, who told me there was a great deli down the road owned by his friend. 5 minutes later, I’m in a being shown all the options by the owner Ari. He said “I tell you what, I’ll sort you a plate”. We then chatted away as I ate their delicious food. What a lovely wholesome experience. Thank you so much and happy Rosh Hashanah!

Great restaurant - we’ve been back twice in two weeks! Great steaks, pulled beef sandwiches, braised steak etc with fresh salads and side dishes from the deli - it’s very difficult to choose as it all looks so good. The restaurant is very clean - it’s all been refurbished and the service is excellent. Highly recommended.

the worst customer service ever! rude! dont step into the shop! and dont touch those people which serve by the till they are rude and just there for youre money!!!!!!!!!!

The food was incredibly fresh and did not take long in being delivered to our table. Lovely choice and different varieties of fish, chicken, beef mains, plus soup salads and side etc etc. A pleasant atmposphere permeats this place and I always come back again and again for the delicious, tasty and fresh food. It is always a great experience.

The place is plain but very clean, the food is excellent and is beautifully presented and served. The vegetarian in our party was amazed at the wide choice of parve foodstuffs. The vegetable soup, salmon and meat were all outstanding.

I had a great dinner, Zero ambiance but good food, pleasant service, large portions. Traditional Jewish foods with a British flair .i.e. meat doused in gravy. Try the soups. They also deliver to hotels.
