The Westbury in Haringey

Pleasant enough place for a Friday night drink. A couple of cask ales on, but served too cold and always needed a significant top-up. Food looked good, but we did not partake.

Always a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with good-value and tasty food. A hidden gem.

Wonderful meal again! Food is delicious! Service is excellent but not intrusive and atmosphere is very good. We love going to the Westbury! Thank you to the great staff - waiting staff and kitchen staff.

Fantastic! Great vibe, Sunday roast is amazing (massive Yorkshire puddings!), music is lovely and at an ideal volume, a big selection of beers in very reasonable prices, lovely service

Went to what should be our local as this is not far from where we live just don't get the chance to visit very often. Had a wonderful time with the family, very kid friendly. Wonderful service from the staff members who were all very attentive and looked after us through the visit. Sunday roast was lovely too, the Yorkshires are massive (1 minute overdone, but still delicious with the gravy). Will def be going back, hopefully fish supper next time, if available. Best to book table in advance if going for busy period.

Came at the weekend with my toddler and two friends. Had a really tasty burger and chips, homemade vibes. The staff were great.

Great little local pub in Wood Green with a good selection of beer and cider on tap. Very tasty Sunday roast, and also one of the few places that does a lamb roast regularly in London, which I love. Would highly recommend for locals or anyone passing through and looking for a quiet spot for a drink. Staff are always friendly too :)

The best local pub! We love it so much we even held our small Covid-era wedding reception here. The staff couldn’t be nicer and the food is great. Warm atmosphere and always a buzz without being too rammed. Highly recommend the Sunday roast.

Great selection of beers and probably the best roast dinner for miles. Great atmospehere and a nice suntrap of a garden. Offering table service would take this pub from excellent to outstanding.

Idk if a Wednesday afternoon is not a good time but the vibe was totally DOA (dead on arrival) if I was alone in a bad mood I think I’d be satisfied there.

Lovely little local, clean friendly has put door seating. Definitely recommend visiting.

I've been here many times the last two years. It's become our regular place after work. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the food and drink is good quality. I've often stayed much longer than I planned! The beer options rotate but they always have their staples. There's plenty of seating options which cater to different size groups, including comfy seats and a great outdoor area. I gave the westbury a 4 star review before, and I'm not sure why to be honest!

Have been for a Sunday roast probably a dozen times over the past few years and it is always amazing. Great value, big portion, a bit different to other places. There is a veggie wellington AND a vegan nut roast which is more choice than most places - the wellington is amazing. I don't even live nearby but will happily travel for their food. And the staff are lovely! Plus always a nice cider or two available.

I often trundle past here, when it's not open. Finally, I get the chance to pop in. It's quite a pleasant venue. It offers good food and booze. It's not exactly out of the way, but I don't think it gets seriously over crowded. So I think you can always expect this to be a venue to enjoy a quiet drink and chat

The dishes have interesting combinations, but they are tasty. PRAVHA beer is from Staropramen, so it's luxurious. Nice service. And what looks like a mushroom in the picture is an egg with flour fried into that shape.

Rude member of staff not welcoming

Little gem 10 mins walk from wood green station. Booked with ease and the food is generous and of good quality. Suitable for friends, families and small children were welcome. Would recommend.

Came here as I was exploring the area. Two pubs in the Vicinity of Turnpike Underground and believe me this is the one you want to be in. Not the other! Never had food but went out of my way as there was an ale selection. 4-5 on and a selection of awful micro ales that pop up These days. Cold and gassy. Oh well That’s life. The pub itself is airy, modern and Spacious with a seating area at the front . Not sure if there is a garden. The ale I chose was nice and at just over £5 was a bonus for me. I thought that the days went 2 years ago for anything like that but a couple of pubs have changed my mind recently on that. Well done. Definitely worth a stop even though there’s not much round here. I may have another. Cheers!

All four of us had a really brilliant time at The Westbury on Saturday night. We all enjoyed our meals and the happy juice flowed freely! Service levels and general ambience were great too. The 27 Club band were definitely an added bonus - we all loved their playlist and very much hope we'll see/hear them again at the pub soon. Wishing you all a very happy and chocolate filled Easter!

I have to agree with Alan’s review. I’m a regular customer on various nights of the week / weekends and the food and beer are consistently great. However, today’s service (Sunday roast) felt really rushed. 1 hour is not long enough to order, enjoy and finish your meal in comfortable time. I appreciate there is a ‘window’ to allow for turnaround on tables (as someone who has worked in hospitality), but taking individual plates and glasses off the table at 3 minute intervals while some members of your group are still eating is quite rude / you feel like a number and not a guest. Hoping this feedback will help with some minor adjustments to the service model as I do love this pub, and the staff are always very friendly / polite - could just do with being a bit less rushed - especially on Sundays when the whole point is to relax with your family / mates!

Been coming here a lot for the past couple years. Brilliant staff that are always nice as chatty and make the atmosphere very nice. Robert and the new girl Holly in particular make it a really good place to pop in!

Very delicious food! After previous experiences at other places I was very skeptical about Sunday roast, but this place completely changed my attitude. Very well seasoned juicy chicken. Delicious additions. Edible portions. Great raspberry beer. The service was very nice and smiling. I highly recommend it ❤️

Quiet, clean, good variety. Love this pub.

Stopped in for Sunday lunch. The staff were friendly and sat us down quite quickly. Food came out and was hot, but the roast spuds were under done. We felt rushed to finish as the staff were clearing the table of empty plates while other members of our party were still eating.

Very quiet night (Monday). Staff night out for us. Had a great time, made very welcome by the bartender (we didn't get his name, but so friendly, long hair and very cool and funky attire - deserves a raise!). We only had a mixture of starters but the food was great pub food. Would come back again, we had Guinness on draft, rose, and juice. No hot drinks and limited desserts. But they do cocktails which I'm sure we will sample next time we come, on a Monday as that's the only day the majority of us have off! Thank you.

Really nice local pub with good vibes. Food is typical pub food but staff are quite attentive and friendly. They serve a number of ales and lagers. There is also space outdoors for smokes and to hang out. Overall quite a gem compared to other pubs in the area.

Overall enjoyed the experience. Service was attentive, speedy and friendly and overall the pub has a local, relaxed feel. Quite a few kids and dogs running around inside, but I’m ok with that. Disappointing toilet, no toilet roll (I did not need it but another guest may have required it-regular toilet checks should be factored into the daily schedules). A pint is circa £5 which isn’t bad at all. Sunday roast I paid £17 for: Positives: tasty gravy, good Yorkshire puddings although a little hotter, would have been good. Vegetables well cooked though. Negatives: despite the meat you order e.g. chicken vs beef vs pork all have the same gravy which is a bit odd. Chicken should come with chicken gravy, beef with beef gravy etc. braised cabbage has a good flavour but far too much sugar added (assuming it is sugar). Only 2 roast potatoes which is a bit mean. All in all, I did enjoy it, not the best but not the worst I would give it: Food Taste: 7/10 Food Quality: 7/10 Food Value for money: 6/10 I will be back again, but not too sure I would go for roast dinner again in light of the above.

From being greeted, seated and fed I cannot fault this team! Food amazing with great atmosphere…my only downer is I would have stayed for a few more post dinner drinks but were were time poor as our slot was coming to an end, I don’t like the time limit as I eat incredibly slowly. Other thank that …would deffo do it again !!!!!!! Great pub

Warm family friendly resto-bar. The atmosphere is laid back, and the staff is super nice. There’s a piano in there and some people were playing. They do live music on Saturday. (This must be good) The food is actually good. And they have a decent wine list for wine lover. I recommend the westbury if you’re in the area.

The best vegetarian Sunday lunch I can remember. Everything perfect especially the spinach wellington. Nice staff and reasonable prices for food and drink. The meat eaters were very happy too.

Food good, bit too much mint in Shepard's Pie otherwise tasty. Steak pie was rhe standout meal of 6. Quiet evening and service good.

Went today and had a roast with my family and all really enjoyed our food 10/10 would come back. A wide range of beers and ales to pick from and once again very good service. Great place reccomend.

Me and my family had a fantastic experience at the Westbury Pub today! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the waitress was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. I especially enjoyed the Sunday roast and the red wine. I can't wait to return and make more great memories at this wonderful pub!

Great pub. Fantastic outside space with sun into the evening. One thing they need to address is the pint glasses. I've been 3 times this week and had to moan about how filthy they are. Please please please have a look at your glasses they are a mess. Particularly bad are the Deven most cider ones from my experience. Hopefully an easy fix and the pub would be a 5 star for me.

Found this place on Tripadvisor as were pretty close by. I had the triple meat roast and my wife had beef. The other two family members who were with us had pork. All of the mentioned roasts came with a huge Yorkshire pudding and we had some crackling in a separate bowl for us all to share. We sat in the terrace outside which is a great sun trap that has an awning that retracts or comes out on request. The beer selection is huge with some great small brewery IPA’s and real ales. We were all very pleased with our food, the service was prompt and all staff very friendly and welcoming. We all agreed that we would be more than happy to return in the future.

Local pub/restaurant. We had a Sunday roast, and definitely loved it! It was our first Sunday roast, and every Sunday, thinking about Sunday roast. Service was really nice, they took care of our table carefully, and friendly. And best Pimms cocktail ever! After this we wanted to make this cocktail at home, but it didn’t work well 😅 I’m wondering what the recipe is! Definitely recommended.

Only went on for a couple of drinks . It was very expensive compared to other places in and around the A10 area. The foods look nice..

Our local pub, and it’s a hidden gem in north London, great food and drinks.The bar staff are all amazing, from the managers, but a special shout-out to Sean, he’s always made us feel so accommodated, knows what drink we want before we walk in, which for me makes all the difference. I can only recommend this as one of the best places in north London
