Bread And Marmalade Cafe in Redbridge

This wonderful Cafe is great to sit in as it’s comfortable, bright and with friendly staff. Ideal for breakfast and home cooked lunches washed down with hot, fresh tea and coffee. Cold drinks are sold too. It has an excellent view with outside seating if you prefer the open air. Highly recommended whether dining solo or for meeting friends.

Unfortunately had a bad experience here this has never happened before we arrived and the owner came to take our order which was a bit unusual as he is the cook.When the order arrived not only was it wrong but the children’s toasted sandwiches and there grandma was burnt and the order was wrong. The owner took issue with this and and a heated arguments issued he became very agitated and was standing behind my sons mother my son asked to go so we could eat our food but he carried on my son was annoyed because it seemed he had an issue with us my son took issue and wrongfully during the heated discussion insulted guy who was standing behind his mother now clenching his fist and swearing in in Turkish .Bottom line who serves young children burnt food I am not sure what his problem was we left and he said we were banned.Will never go again anyway the lemon seed is better both in food and hospitality

After many visits the food was consistently excellent and the service similarly excellent and very friendly. Surprisingly reasonable prices. Best cafe/restaurant around. Enjoyed the attractive decor and beautiful view looking outside. What a really lovely place to eat!

I'm very conservative when giving 5 stars, but here at "Bread and Marmalade" I whole heartedly give them 5 stars. We were staying around the corner for the weekend and came 4 times for breakfast. It was an absolute pleasure - the food was excellent, the service absolutely charming and sitting outside so relaxing. Anybody who would like a real English breakfast should drop by here!

A wonder little mom and pop place offering extremely friendly service and good food. If I lived here, this would be my go to breakfast café.

Best local restaurant Nothing too much trouble.Try the rock cake with butter and jam. Friendly family service 👍

I had been for brunch before & was pleasantly surprised how good it was. This time we had light lunch. The food was cooked to my request. It was good portion & tasty. The service was excellent. The place was convenient for commuters for either take away or eat. There are tables & chairs outside which was well utilised. It’s nice to have an independent cafe providing service to the community. I recommend Bread & Marmalade cafe for meeting up with friends & families.
