Absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. Great food and great prices. Got the big fry up, should have taken a pic but just ate it instead. Great.

a very original inn in the centre of Wotton on the edge. the staff are friendly and attentive. the pub is also dog friendly. the atmosphere is warm and inviting after an autumn walk in the area. Food is well priced for the quality of the cooking. It is a good pub menu.

Absolutely outstanding good old fashioned pub, so welcoming staff go above and beyond, everyone talks to you and makes your day, they have a lovely beer garden, best Stella in town and sky and tnt. Highly recommend the lamb.

Great pub with excellent staff friendly locals and in a great location with a large green opposite, Welcomed our Husky after his walk on the green , had a live band in the evening unfortunately a little to late for our visit . Will definitely return when visiting Diss again in the future.

I was on my way to an appointment I was a little nervous for and went into the Oxford road federal to grab a coffee this afternoon, one of the girls working recognised my morph keyring on my bag and was so friendly and gave me a little card for a free coffee. Her and her colleagues kindness really made me remember how nice people can be and forget all about the appointment worries for a while. Myself & 18 pals had Christmas dinner at the Sugarloaf in Newtown Street Luton last night. It was one of the best that l've had. All fresh, no frozen malarkey. Good quality, hot food served by very pleasant attentive staff & a great price too. Give yourself a treat. Take yourself down there for a lovely Christmas time lunch or dinner.

I have a very minor criticism: please use tongs when picking up the cakes and not with bare hands. I got a thumb print in my chocolate cake 🤢

Had a couple of afternoon drinks here yesterday then returned for dinner at night lovely clean pub good food and friendly and attentive staff. Was allowed to use pub carpark while staying in the b&b next door. Would definitely return.

Popped in to the Royal Oak after shopping at the York outlet. Julie the landlady and her husband Paul where very welcoming and friendly. Kian the young barman was helpful and polite. Unfortunately we had to leave before the outdoor pizzeria had warmed up. All in all a very nice village pub.
