I went to the ridings cafe with my mum today There today I had a latte which I really enjoyed It was one of the best latte I have ever had Also I had a raspberry crumble which I also really enjoyed it was one of the best rasberry crumble I have ever had in the whole wide world The staff that work there are very kind lovely friendly The service there is very good amazing wonderful I had a very lovely experience there today at ridings cafe This place gets it's very first 5 out of 5 star rating by me Enjoy reading your google review by me Have a lovely rest of your day 5 stars all around

Food was nice and service was good

Passing by on our travels and popped in for Sunday lunch. Being an ex caterer in the RAF, I would just like to thank all your staff for a lovely experience. The food was delicious and I can’t praise the young lady chef enough. Obviously put a lot of heart and soul into it. In these days of buying puddings in, I’d like to commend her on the traditional, homemade no less 👌, desert. Delicious. Thank you to all the staff for a very pleasant lunch.

Llegué a la caja, el chef, que era agradable en realidad salió a preguntarme lo que quería y me dijo que había una mesa lista que aprecio. La mujer, por otro lado, ni siquiera me miró, sino que empezó a escribir mi pedido. Cuando me distraje momentáneamente, ella ni siquiera tenía los modales de decir: "Disculpe amor/señor, pero eso son seis libras por favor", en cambio me repitieron "seis libras" tres veces de una manera agresiva y rápida. De todas formas, me senté a esperar el desayuno y seguro que la mujer sale de la cocina con la comida; antes de que recibiera el plato, simplemente se calienta. Por el contrario, ella podría haber dicho cortésmente "Cuidado amor / señor, la comida está bastante caliente", o algo dicho de una manera que demuestra que en realidad quería que me quedara a comer.

A great relaxed atmosphere. A brilliant breakfast. I had the regular breakfast and the fried bread made my day! Loved the coffee too .

What a disappointment went with a friend for breakfast we booked a table as we know it gets busy on a Saturday. We order toast with a oat milk Mocha. The Mocha tasted like dishwater No flavor to it definitely did not have much of the way of chocolates in it asked the lady if she could add some more chocolates which she did reluctantly telling us will it was with oat milk we alway have oat milk Mocha when we go out so know when ones not right. We then ate our toast to have the plates whipped away the moment the last mouthful want in . As we sat and talk and finished our coffee the place was busy but not full the moment we'd put the cups down they were whipped away to and the next thing we know the guy was standing there with the card machine wanting us to pay and be gone. Now I get it's Saturday and that it does get busy but like I said before there were tables empty and we won't even asked if we'd like anything else. Needless to say we won't be going back

Popped in for Sunday lunch before work. Excellent food. Great, friendly service. Left feeling stuffed. Will definitely eat there again.

I went for lunch with my friend and thought it was lovely. The oatcake with goats cheese and red onion marmalade was superb. We were able to sit outside in the sunshine which made the experience even more pleasant. I shall definitely return with my family. We have only recently moved to the area so I am delighted to have found The Old Barn.

I went today at 8/01/2024,I went as a friend had told me about how helpful the owners are with people who are struggling with the basics like food and it took a lot of courage to ask for help.However when I arrived and I arrived in the specified time I was not even able to explain why I was there when I was just told were closed and the person then completely ignored me,I know I'm not entitled to hand outs this is a service which they do not have to provide however because I came to use the service does not mean I am not entitled to be treated how they would like to be treated and from what my friend told me they were the most caring empathetic people who work there but this was not what I found I understand people can have a bad day but it made me feel embarrassed and ashamed that I had come.

The most amazing fish and chips locally. Plus you get other great things like pie saveloy's etc. Customer service is just the best friendly fast and good overall chat.

Lovely cafe with the best food and sweetest staff, my favourite place to come with my kids on the wellingborough road. I have been here 4 times since moving to this part of northampton, each time with my young children and we were always well looked after.

Great welcoming and friendly place. Food and drink here is well worthy of our regular visits! Their salt beef bagels are consistently delicious and a must try!

Emma and Nick are very welcoming and their food is amazing !!! I recently òcelebrated my Birthday with the Family at home with Emma's take away menu. We thoroughly enjoyed the shin beef in red wine, along with very delicous vegetables and very tasty chocolate marquis. Over many years we have ordered most of the menu and it's always beautifully prepared and very delicious!! Thank you so much for helping me out This is a 5 ***** review !!!!!!! Helen

A really good experience, not been here for a while but is as good as ever. Food was excellent, big portions, good value for money, really tasty. Good choice of drinks, with a good value bottle of Merlot for less than £20. Service very good throughout with a friendly welcome, nice ambience, old school but attractive.
