Visited jolly rogers after watching TFT reviews.ordered the traditional fish and chips, red donner, masalah fish and scallop. The food was amazing and the price was fair. Bossman was very polite and the service was great. There was a special home made sauce I tried and it was really finger lickin. Highly recommended and will inshallah visit again.

We visited your delightful tea room yesterday after visiting the tulip festival. We had 4 delicious homemade cakes and coffee. Service was exceptional, surroundings were beautiful. We have visited many tea rooms and this is one of the best.

Jonathan, lazlo, Vraj were amazing and made us feel absolutely at home. The drinks were absolutely customized to our taste and tasted absolutely fantastic. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely make sure I come here again

Great food and company What a wonderful evening we spent at The Blue Ship on Saturday night. A truly local, warm and welcoming place. I’ve not been there in too long a time however I felt like I’d not left. The fire was lit and Sophie Bailey, Jackie and I chatted together like old friends while Simon Bailey served up the most delicious Brie wedges followed by the best burgers in Sussex. If you are a regular or not, we are so lucky to have such a great, traditional pub on our doorstep and I for one won’t leave it so long till my next visit. #localbusiness #countrypub — feeling welcome at Blue Ship.

Quite possibly one of the best breakfast rolls I’ve had, coffee was excellent and the service was so welcoming and friendly. I stopped in half way though my Steel Rigg to Lanercost Hadrians wall walk, will be skipping the rest of the way. What a lovely cafe. 100% worth a visit.

Excellent breakfast which comes with toast and preserves. The coffee is good which costs £3.20 and £10.00 for the breakfast.Maybe a little on the expensive side as it's not the biggest breakfast but everything on the plate was so good and so nice to get plum tomatoes instead of fried ones.i would definitely recommend this cafe for breakfast and with the tables outside it's a pleasant place to eat it aswell especially when the weather is like it was today
