This cozy cafe is about a 20-min walk from Brighton train station. The atmosphere is nice, with plenty of seating, including outdoor options. During busy times, we had to wait for about 15 to 20 mins for a table. We ordered the Dirty Bacon Burger, Forest Fruit Pancake, Matcha Flat White, and Iced Latte. I really enjoyed the pancakes - they had a lovely eggy flavor and a soft texture. However, I was disappointed that they didn't come with fresh fruit, just a berry sauce that felt overly sweet and didn't add the freshness I expected. This mismatch made the dish feel less balanced. The burger was also quite good. Overall, it's a cafe worth trying!

Went there for breakfast, before getting tattoo, have to be honest was only ok ,would of rated it less if it wasn't for Jade, she was so nice ,polite and friendly ,a work colleague of hers should take a leaf out of Jades book ,about politeness .my wife has a few dietary requirements, one can't eat eggs and beans the waitress said we don't do swaps ,in a snooty manner ,food was ok , couldn't wait for the bill ,so we could get out of there , once again Jade was great

Appalling experience. Saw the amazing reviews so thought this place would be great. The beans were freezing and mushroom missing from my plate. When I queried it, the waitress said I told her I had a mushroom allergy, even though I never said that. I had enquired about swapping tomato and mushroom for more of something else, but when she said they don’t do alterations, I said that’s ok I’m happy to have the mushroom and tomatoes. She even asked if I had any allergies and I responded no. The manager was lovely but unfortunately the waitress was a compulsive liar. The rest of the food wasn’t that great. I only ate the eggs and toast. Won’t be back.

This is a relatively large coffee restaurant. They sell all-day breakfast items, hamburgers, pancakes and some desserts, as well as different coffee drinks. Because their store is very large, it definitely has more than 60 seats. If the weather is good, it is recommended to sit outside to enjoy the sunshine and look at the street. Their waiters here are very efficient and polite. I remember that several employees often have happy smiles on their faces. This is really worth recommending. The portions of their meals are quite sufficient. We also tried their hamburgers which tasted delicious. They provide clean restrooms. Although the price is a bit more expensive in this area, it is definitely worth the money.

Stumbled on this cafe and have to say it’s the best brunch place I’ve been to! Delicious food and the iced strawberry matcha was amazing. Loved how local all the food was & that it was labelled that on the menu. Excellent service too. Sat outside the front in the sun. Would absolutely go back next time I’m in Brighton. I had the Ham Hock which had the famous hashbrowns- SO good!

Absolute gem in Brighton. The food slaps and the cappuccino is one of the best you will get. Service was a let down today. We were left sitting with menus for ten minutes before someone took our order. Food came before cutlery and hash browns came a few minutes after food. Small details but so easily rectified with an attentive manager.

Delicious spot for brunch, I had the Chorizo hash, my partner had the American fluffy pancakes. I thoroughly enjoyed my dish. Tasty, well presented, good portion size. Loved the chickpeas and onion running through the dish. I’m not a pancake lover but we’re told they were ok. Service was friendly, we ordered 2 dirty chai’s also delicious. They make their own hot sauce and you definitely should order a sparkling lemonade. Would I go again? I would! You should☺️

Beautiful vegan breakfast, lots of vegan options. Friendly and helpful staff and great oat milk coffee. They gave me water on the table and also the table was decorated nicely. Really clean and tasty place to have breakfast.

One of the best brekkies I’ve had in a long time! Amazing food (and portions) for a very reasonable price. The girl who served us was amazing - warming, friendly and polite! Such a wholesome experience. I will be back!

The food and services are good. Coffee has big room for improvement. Ratio of coffee and milk for cappuccino is not right and tastes too milky.

Genuinely shocked by how delicious the food was. I walk past this place all the time and always notice how busy it is. I finally tried it the other day and it exceeded all expectations - it was so good and I’d 100% go again! Nice options for vegans!!

Absolutely love this cafe! I’m a pretty frequent regular and Chloe is always super friendly and chatty with me and makes me feel very welcome as well as all the other staff. That good never fails to be delightful and the coffee is also amazing! My favourite place to come on a solo lunch date or with a friend :)

You can try the authentic English brunch in this same place. My partner and I went because she already knew it but I can't pass up the opportunity to tell people to come to this place to try the Eggs Benedict. And a good beer. It is a little expensive but they are generous in quantity and the quality of the product is very good. You can tell that they do things with love and hence my 5 stars.

Tuve el placer de visitar finalmente Moksha Caffe esta tarde, junto a un amigo que estaba igualmente ansioso (ambos éramos novatos en la escena de Moksha Caffe) El café en sí era brillante, ventilado y absolutamente hermoso. Inicialmente estábamos sentados en una mesa para dos personas hacia la parte delantera del café, sin embargo, las mesas estaban tan juntas, que nos sentimos un poco incómodos. Le pregunté a nuestro servidor si podíamos sentarnos hacia atrás en una de las cabinas donde era más tranquilo, que no era ningún problema. Mi amigo y yo habíamos visitado solo para bebidas. El café era fabuloso y servida en una taza hermosa. Puede ser un pequeño detalle para algunas personas, pero en mi opinión siempre es un punto alto cuando un café rompe la barrera más allá del tradicional blanco en tazas y platillos blancos. Sin duda volveré a visitar Moksha Caffe de nuevo. La comida en el menú suena delicioso. Ojalá supiera el nombre de nuestro servidor hoy. Ella era increíblemente amable, amable y hablador. Tal tipo de atención al cliente, sin estar de más, hace tanta diferencia cuando hay cientos de otros cafés por ahí compitiendo por su costumbre. ¡Gracias!

Great service and a varied menu

Whether it lives up to the hype is up to you, but they certainly serve a great brunch! There tends to be a queue outside so make sure you are there early if you want to grab a seat! The brunch was very tasty, with lots of unique options that clearly have fun with the concept. It’s nice to see some different items other than avo and eggs, and the new combinations to try were welcomed. I had a mushroom bruschetta, and it was grand. Every element was so tasty and cooked perfectly (no squeaky mushrooms!), and although I felt not all of it went together as one, I throughly enjoyed devouring it. The perfected matcha as they call it was almost that, perfect! Coconut milk and a sweet and creamy matcha was a delicious pairing to my food. As brunch places go, it’s definitely up there for the better matchas in Brighton. Service was swift and attentive, looking after me well despite the crowds!

One of the very best breakfast venues I’ve ever been to! The menu is amazing and the food exceeded my expectations that were already quite high! I had the Huevos Rancheros, which was simply the best I’ve ever had! And the coffee was superb! I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Oh. And I forgot to mention the hash browns! Stunning!

Writing as a vegan, this is a little gem. I had a lovely vegan shakshouka with the hash browns as a side. Packed full of tang and yummy flavours whilst feeling healthy and fresh. I was very impressed with my lunch and will be coming back to this restaurant again to try out the rest of the menu!

I've been to Moksha umpteen times and they're consistently good at what they do.

Moksha’s reputation is absolutely deserved. I had the Korean tofu burger; she had poached eggs with flatbread; we both had the famous hash browns. Everything was scrumptious. The vegetarian and vegan options were plentiful and amazing. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Had the HUEVOS RANCHEROS, that chorizo was devine, nice smoky and spicy flavours. Shakshuka nice and light and the Dirty Hock Burger was very tasty. Decent chunk of meaty ham! Homemade hash browns, definitely taste the difference from your processed stuff! Service was top notch!! Will be back for more of that chorizo.

El personal era muy eficiente y genuinamente muy alegre y servicial. Definitivamente uno de los mejores de su tipo en la ciudad como pudo verse por la fila de pacientes de sería clientes esperando una mesa vacante en una mañana helada.

Visited friends in Brighton and this was the best brunch spot I could have hoped for! I actually really like that they don't accept reservations so it's walk in. A group of 6 of us managed to easily get a table at 1130 on a Sunday morning. However there was a long queue by 1230 so make sure you get there earlier rather than later! I had the blueberry pancakes and a side of homemade hash browns. Both dishes were delicious and worth the money. The hash browns weren't greasy and they were perfectly crispy. The blueberry pancakes were good value for money and were 3 thick pancakes. They were fluffy and not doughy like some other places. The blueberries were also cooked into the pancakes too rather than just on the side, which was delicious.

Love this place. Vegan nduja made my day today!

Don't often come to Brighton looked up few places to eat. Found this little place. Ordered moksha breakfast and a fresh orange juice, was absolutely the best breakfast iv had out in a long time! And love attention to detail water on table and stokes ketchup which to me is best you can get. The service was good and staff were friendly and didn't have to wait long for my food atall. Would definitely return for food again and recommend!

Really enjoyed it. £1.50 for extra maple syrup seems a bit steep.

Needed a coffee, while the car was charging, and ended up having a breakfast. Great venue, great fresh food, and great service.

Atmosphere and service was nice, but I had Eggs Benedict and it was pretty underwhelming, surprised by the high reviews. The Hollandaise was tasteless, the muffin was very dry and frustratingly, they don’t do any substitutions - which I can understand- but their Eggs Benedict has bacon instead of Ham Hock. Bacon not right for Benedict, too salty. And doesn’t cut up well. But when you also have Ham Hock right there ON THE MENU two options down is it that big a deal to switch up the dish to the way it’s SUPPOSED to be? Or even have the option? My partner said the hash browns were good but I didn’t try them.

The food is always great, the perfect brunch spot for dates, hangovers or just doing work on a laptop. The service is always spot on, staff have always been lovely, always pleasantly greeted. The food is just a tad pricier than I would hope for, however is definetly worth it - all the dishes are fairly above average. It’s difficult to justify the coffee prices as it seems pretty mediocre, however all are solid drinks so you won’t be left dissapointed. Great atmosphere that isn’t too quiet or too loud, no anxiety in this relaxing cozy cafe :)

This is a brilliant spot for brunch in central Brighton. There's something on the menu for everyone and it's generally very popular with good service. BUT! Last time I was there I asked for toast rather than flatbread with my shakshuka. I got charged an extra £4 for 2 pieces of dry toast which is honestly an outrageous rip off. This appeared as "toast and preserves" on the bill even though it didn't even come with butter never mind any preserves. When I complained to the server she said this is just the done thing and everyone knows. As it's not on the menu as an extra I asked how anyone was supposed to know this and she said it's "word of mouth" and shrugged it off. Look, I'm happy for a restaurant to charge a reasonable amount for extras but please can you put it on the menu to at least let customers know. Also £4 for two pieces of dry toast is an absolute rip off and the whole experience has made me think twice if I want to eat here again. Not cool Moksha, not cool at all.

THE TURKISH EGGS!! Wow the Turkish eggs are absolutely banging. I could have had 4 servings - do not sleep on the Turkish eggs. I’ve been here twice and both times have been amazing. The service is pretty good and the food is amazing. So far I’d recommend the shakshuka & Turkish eggs (as you can tell I’m a big fan). We also had the Huevos Benedictos which is great (very generous with the chorizo), and the blueberry pancakes were fluffy and moist too.

Un buen hallazgo para el brunch después de una mañana de viaje. El personal era amable y servicial. Lugar muy concurrido (no aceptan reservas) La comida y las bebidas eran geniales. La comida estaba caliente, fresca y deliciosa. Grandes porciones, también. El marido tenía panqueques con tocino y jarabe de arce. Tomé un bollo de jamón con mermelada de chile, huevo, queso y hachís marrón. También compartimos el hachís especial marrón del día. Mis únicas quejas son - el café estaba muy frío, tuve que envolver mi bufanda alrededor de mí mismo para mantener el calor. No había suficiente arce para panqueques, tenía que pedir extra, que era £ 1. 50 .

Wow Este lugar está tan ocupado que la gente tiene que hacer cola afuera para esperar a que se siente. Lo dice todo realmente, ya que este es un gran lugar para visitar para el desayuno, el brunch o el almuerzo. Ambiente animado Maravillosas deliciosas opciones de comida y porciones muy generosas. Solo observación el personal podría haber sido un poco más amable y menos abrupto, pero simplemente lo dejamos en el lugar que está tan ocupado.

Food was tasteless and they brought it barely warmed, also you cant swap anything, non existing service but the service charge already included in the bill, table felt sticky , cutlery full of fingerprints and sticky

What separates the Moksha from other cafes is the originality of the menu, the tofu Benedict is not something I see in exclusively vegan cafes, it’s different and delicious. Definitely my go to breakfast/lunch spot right now
