£21 quid for a "fry up" and £3.25 for a can of coke poured into a glass! Disgraceful. The ingredients cost around a fiver. Unbelievable that they get away with ripping their customers off like this.

I’ll start by saying they obviously have very nice, well made food here and the staff were friendly etc. but personally I did not have a good experience. Mainly I just don’t really understand? The experience started with us waiting at the front for a table without anyone acknowledging us for ten mins, despite quite a few staff members walking past. When we were seated, I ordered a ham hock burger and asked for it without the egg and cheese because I personally don’t like them - I was simply told the kitchen didn’t operate this way? They explained that if it was for an allergy then they’d adapt it but since it was preference that they wouldn’t. This for me was confusing as it seemed contradictory because it was only my reasoning that meant it couldn’t happen, unless it’s pre-made (it didn’t seem like it was for the price). I was asking for less of the elements for the same price, which I stated I was happy with. In response, I was told I couldn’t order it. So then it was a case of ordering something at least £5 more, if not more than that because there were no cheaper options on the menu. In the end I ordered a side of hash browns which never arrived, it seems they forgot, I heard the waiter say about them and go to chase them but they still never came in the half an hour after that. The people I was eating with finished their meals and we had a time constraint so I had nothing in the end. They were very apologetic about this and they did take some money off the bill so I am very thankful for that and I fully understand mistakes happen. Basically if you’re not an annoying fussy eater like me then you’ll probably have a really nice meal and a nice time but if you have any preferences or pickiness about food but no related allergy then you’re a bit screwed.

Great service and good prices. Pro: 1. The service from the waiters/waitress is above and beyond. They were clearly busy, but still managed to give a nice vibe. 2. High quality food. We ordered the Shakshuka and Eggs Benedict, plus coffee and got full for pretty much all afternoon. 3. The prices are slightly lower than the average coffee places around Brighton. Cons: 1. It can get busy. We went during Sunday and had to queue for around 10 mins. Idk If you can book in advance, if yes, do it!

We, a family of 4, ate at Moksha for brunch in the late morning on a Tuesday. Having seen it on Tripadvisor beforehand and been encouraged by the reviews to give it a go, we were delighted that this advice proved to be true. We ordered two dirty bacon burgers (one of them having fries as an add-on), a stack of pancakes, and an eggs Benedict. The menu states that Moksha caters for allergies but not 'preferences' — but nevertheless the kitchen was happy to adjust both burgers so that the eggs were not in the burger but instead on a separate plate. The server was not sure that this would be acceptable, so we were impressed that such a busy kitchen could execute such great attention to detail. All 4 plates of food were delicious and we received them enthusiastically. Moksha Caffe may be deemed by some to be expensive, but we believe that the prices reflect the quality of the food. We did not order drinks, and this was helped by the presence of a jug of water and glasses on the table upon our arrival. We did have to wait outside the establishment for a few minutes as it was full when we arrived, but this must be testament to the quality and atmosphere of Moksha Caffe. The staff communicated well from the start of our visit.

I love visiting Moksha and have been here many times before with friends. I would say it is the number 1 brunch spot in Brighton! During my recent visit I had eggs florentine (on a muffin). The muffin was soft, the sauce was perfectly seasoned and rich, the spinach tasted amazing and the pouches egg was perfect with a runny middle. I also the hash browns (which were different than the last time I had them so perhaps they changed the recipe but they were just as good if not better than before!) and hot chocolate and my friend had matcha along with eggs Benedict. I love the interior and the staff is always very smiley, welcoming and helpful! This place is a must visit for tourists and if you're a local who hasn't been you're missing out. The food itself was great. However in my breakfast, I don't like eggs or mushrooms (choice not an allergy) and they wouldn't swap two ingredients for a hash brown. Which is normally not a problem at any other breakfast place. This wouldn't normally bother me. But then when I asked could I not have egg or mushroom and pay for a hash brown. I was told I couldn't not have the mushroom and egg as it's part of the breakfast. I then had to say I was allergic to mushrooms and eggs to basically get the point across that I didn't want them on my plate. And pay an extra 5er for hash browns... So 20 something quid for 1 sausage, 2 bits of bacon, some toast, beans and a hash brown.. The food was great but a little greedy on pricing and not swapping out....

Moksa Caffe is definitely in my opinion is slowly becoming another average cafe in Brighton . I used to say this is the best cafe but from my recent visit the half English breakfast in my opinion was actually disgusting and not what I'm looking for in a fry up toast was rock solid the Sausage Meat was mixed with some type of minty herbs which wasn't described on the menu . And the Beans were some mixed bean with some bitter tastes to it and I ordered hash browns they forgot to bring in out

Really good breakfast / brunch spot not too far from the Lanes. I had the eggs royale that came with smoked trout and sourdough bread, an iced latte (the coffee was incredible!), and a slice of banana bread to share. The food was really good and so was the service. I am not giving 5 stars simply because you get only 1 thin slice of bread with your breakfast and the banana bread was quite expensive (£8.5 per slice), I assume because it was served with a berries and yogurt compote. However, that's on us as we did not ask for the price when we ordered it. Overall we had a good experience and the food was tasty, so I would recommend.

We got recommended the poached eggs with mushy peas, kale and ham hock on their signature hash Browns by a regular in the queue ahead of us and it was lovely. The other dish was literally the nicest American pancakes I've ever had topped with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, beans and maple syrup. Beautiful. Freshly squeezed orange juice and a perfect flat white completed the food. To top it all off all of the staff were very welcoming and attentive.
