Food was tasteless and they brought it barely warmed, also you cant swap anything, non existing service but the service charge already included in the bill, table felt sticky , cutlery full of fingerprints and sticky

What separates the Moksha from other cafes is the originality of the menu, the tofu Benedict is not something I see in exclusively vegan cafes, it’s different and delicious. Definitely my go to breakfast/lunch spot right now

I had a wonderful experience at Moksha Cafe in Brighton! The food was absolutely delicious—beautifully cooked and presented with care. The menu offers a variety of fantastic options, but I opted for the Free-Range Poached Eggs on Toast (£6.50), with the addition of their avocado salsa (£9.00). I switched to scrambled eggs, and they were perfectly creamy and full of flavor. Every bite was delightful! The staff were incredibly lovely—kind, attentive, and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. Since dogs aren’t allowed inside, we sat outside with our sausage dog. It was a bit chilly, but the staff provided blankets and turned on the heater, which made it much more comfortable. Their thoughtfulness really stood out! Overall, Moksha Cafe is a gem in Brighton! Great food, excellent service, and a friendly atmosphere—even in the outdoor seating. Definitely worth a visit. The handmade hash browns alone are worth coming back for. Highly recommended!

I’m not typically one to leave reviews especially negative ones but I was quite disappointed with the drinks I received when I visited. A friend and I decided to order a chai latte and a regular latte, both of which were extremely disappointing. The Latte somehow managed to taste of nothing while being simultaneously sour and the chai latte tasted chemically, watery and also sour - I was very disappointed as for two regular drinks (which were smaller than the average regular size) they came to £3.40 and £4.25. And for them to taste so foul was shocking as I expected them to be nice as Moksha is so popular. I’m really hoping it was a one-off but I just can’t deny how much of a letdown the drinks we received were.

Moksha has an amazing menu with a fantastic variety, offering plenty of options to try. I had the American pancakes and they were DELICIOUS. A great portion size, and I highly recommend. I was also particularly excited to sample the ‘famous’ hash browns, but I found them a bit disappointing – at £5, they were effectively two small rostis. Tasty, yes, but not quite the classic hash brown experience I was hoping for. Unfortunately, the scrambled egg was by far the weakest part of the meal. Despite these letdowns, if you’re a potato lover, the hash browns are still worth a try. There was a fairly long queue at lunchtime during the weekend, but it moved quickly, and the service is brilliant. Overall, a great spot to visit if you’re in Brighton.

What a fabuolous cafe experience, our server Jade was lovely, possibly the nicest person I have ever met! The food was out of this world (I wanted everything on the menu), the drinks were just a good, the cafe interior is lovely, the vibe is fantastic, the ethics are spot on. What's not to love? If you're on the fence about if you should visit, get in there now, you will not regret it, even if you have to queue for a table, it is well worth the wait. I recommend Moksha as a MUST visit cafe and we will be back, everytime we visit Brighton.

I’ll start by saying they obviously have very nice, well made food here and the staff were friendly etc. but personally I did not have a good experience. Mainly I just don’t really understand? The experience started with us waiting at the front for a table without anyone acknowledging us for ten mins, despite quite a few staff members walking past. When we were seated, I ordered a ham hock burger and asked for it without the egg and cheese because I personally don’t like them - I was simply told the kitchen didn’t operate this way? They explained that if it was for an allergy then they’d adapt it but since it was preference that they wouldn’t. This for me was confusing as it seemed contradictory because it was only my reasoning that meant it couldn’t happen, unless it’s pre-made (it didn’t seem like it was for the price). I was asking for less of the elements for the same price, which I stated I was happy with. In response, I was told I couldn’t order it. So then it was a case of ordering something at least £5 more, if not more than that because there were no cheaper options on the menu. In the end I ordered a side of hash browns which never arrived, it seems they forgot, I heard the waiter say about them and go to chase them but they still never came in the half an hour after that. The people I was eating with finished their meals and we had a time constraint so I had nothing in the end. They were very apologetic about this and they did take some money off the bill so I am very thankful for that and I fully understand mistakes happen. Basically if you’re not an annoying fussy eater like me then you’ll probably have a really nice meal and a nice time but if you have any preferences or pickiness about food but no related allergy then you’re a bit screwed.

We, a family of 4, ate at Moksha for brunch in the late morning on a Tuesday. Having seen it on Tripadvisor beforehand and been encouraged by the reviews to give it a go, we were delighted that this advice proved to be true. We ordered two dirty bacon burgers (one of them having fries as an add-on), a stack of pancakes, and an eggs Benedict. The menu states that Moksha caters for allergies but not 'preferences' — but nevertheless the kitchen was happy to adjust both burgers so that the eggs were not in the burger but instead on a separate plate. The server was not sure that this would be acceptable, so we were impressed that such a busy kitchen could execute such great attention to detail. All 4 plates of food were delicious and we received them enthusiastically. Moksha Caffe may be deemed by some to be expensive, but we believe that the prices reflect the quality of the food. We did not order drinks, and this was helped by the presence of a jug of water and glasses on the table upon our arrival. We did have to wait outside the establishment for a few minutes as it was full when we arrived, but this must be testament to the quality and atmosphere of Moksha Caffe. The staff communicated well from the start of our visit.

I never ate here unfortunately as the manager messaged me at 9pm the night before to say the system hadn’t reserved our table. Obviously system failures happen, and I appreciated that. He offered 2 other available times so I called back the next day to move it to the time offered, just to be told over the phone that there was in fact no table reserved for us still!
