The best potato salad & bacon sandwich I’ve ever had will definitely be back for more!

Just went in for lunch, not sure of accommodation services. Lovely choices on menu and food was delicious. Staff were understanding of a disability and attentive to adjustments if required. One chicken goujon sandwich, one posh fish finger sandwich and one Steak & Ale pie with mushy peas. All with hand cut chips. Fish fingers and chicken goujons were freshly battered and more than adequate portions. Delcious. Chips were best we have had for a long time. Heaps of beautofully braised steak in pie and the tastiest gravy! Can be accessed from front (main high street) or rear (through beer garden, outside of which there are multiple car parks). One of our party struggles with mobility and had a four wheel Walker. Both entrances have access ramps and although a few steps, there is a hand rail available and were manageable for her. Definitely recommend. Will be back.

Came in for the Sunday roast sharing board platters. They were everything we expected and as other reviewers have said. The food was very nice, so was the Devon Red cider - always a treat to see that on tap. My only issue and why it's not a 5* review is the food could have done with being much hotter, most items were only warm. Also the pub itself was quite cold which probably didn't help. A lot of customers kept their coats on, including us. No one checked on us throughout the duration of the meal but they were very busy. We will return but maybe in the summer.

Great fish and chips, 2 decent sized battered fish and a standard portion of chips for under £15, bargain 😀

We dined at the Old Bank and were absolutely blown away by not only the incredible food but also, the inviting atmosphere. Each dish presented meticulous attention to flavour, impressive presentation and delicate textures, showcasing the chefs' innovative approach to British cuisine. We would also recommend the wine flight to accompany the tasting menu - these carefully curated selections of wines accompany each dish, enhancing every course with perfectly complementary flavours! First time here. Much better than the photos ! Comfortable quiet stay. Warm and friendly staff. Early check in 1pm fantastic meaning you can get the best of your stay. Cooked Breakfast faultless 👌 definately coming back.

From start to finish, an absolutely exceptional customer service. A very personalised experience. The lovely staff and chef took the utmost care of us. You really feel right at home and the roast itself was delicious and the soup a dream. Highly recommend 10/10. Will certainly visit again

Mixed bag...venison scotch egg, chicken wings and Sticky toffee pudding were very good. Everything else was OK.

We had an early Christmas lunch today. All of the options we tried from the Christmas set menu were delicious. The vegetarian starter of mushrooms on potato bread which I had was excellent and everyone else was impressed with theirs. There were generous and varied sides with the mains. We all had treacle tart to finish. Plus they did something off the children's menu for us. Highly recommended. I would love to come again.
