don't go in pubs much these days was in Aldershot doing a bit of shopping.wanted a sit down and a drink. i find some of the pubs in the town too busy and loud. i have been in the Trafalgar before and always found it a good experience. bar staff were friendly and helpful ,nice crowd of people. good beer reasonable prices. i would like to say thank you to all the staff ,keep up the good work

A clean and friendly pub, clearly more friendly than the others in Aldershot, reasonable prices and tasty Guinness. This bar is made more interesting with the many items of military memorabilia and photographs, a pool table, and juke box. A chilled visit here was made very worthwhile. Excellent.

Tidy parlour area, courteous service at the bar, excellent proper bitter on tap. And a live band when we popped in! A splendid and refreshing moment, thank you very much.

I haven't been in for a while and don't normally do reviews but here it is. I frequented the Traf a year or so and was made to feel welcome and I as new to the area. Great jukebox and lovely outside area with a heater in Winter and good company. Thanks to Stace and all staff. PS: Could someone tell Danny that he was right I did like Beth Harte and I owe him a drink next time I'm in town. Thanks Martin

Great supporters of military veterans and serving members of the community. great live music, fantastic service and plenty of banter.

Been in here several times and memiries of lobg ago. Still a great pub. Food is brilliant and still has the old spirit there

If you are a believe in pub's no longer having any character; I would challenge you to visit the Trafalgar. A small pub dripping in great British history, with a large garden out the back and very friendly staff.

Not been in The Traf for over 30 years when I was a young Para in Aldershot. Stace, an ex Para himself had the place looking well with significant improvement since I was there. Great decor with para memorabilia festooning every wall, even found a photo on the wall that I am in. Great staff and clientele.

Often pop in during week today took wife in after shopping. We encountered some of the most loud mouthed filthy language from a group of men at the bar even though women and children present. Forced to leave. Shame on you management for allowing it. One way now downhill. Catering for the scum of society not the decent people.

Visited Saturday lunchtime - I had 2 halves of Tribute that was crystal-clear & Leilah gin & bitter lemons. Lovely & attentive landlady! Although unlikely to return to Aldershot, would certainly return here if we did. Was a strong connection with the Paras - take a look at the signed photo above the fireplace in the front bar & the poster between the windows!

Came here on a Groupon, was amazed how much it has changed. Fresh looking. Staff friendly food was excellent and great portions. The only thing I would say is move the pool table to the otherside of the bar and you would have a great seating area for diners. It would be great to see as there would diners section. Apart from that amazingly impressed who would of known. Well done great transformation.

LIved in the area for over 8 years, but never visited this pub until last week. My wife, 2 year old son and myself, popped in for a drink and some food. What a good place, girl behind bar was first class, so friendly, and vert=y good at her job. The food was first class, fresh, hot, good cooking.all 3 of us enjoyed it, and the main question, would we go back again, 100% we would, roll on the roast.

A lovely pub. Very clean and welcoming. We visited on a Saturday evening, two adults and two 17 yr olds. Starters were great, portions were big, very well presented and very tasty. We had all ordered different mains, and again presentation was lovely, the food was very tasty and portion sizes too big for us to finish. A big well done to the chef! Great music playing and a really good atmosphere

The food was lovely, you got a plate full defiantly worth the money. Bar staff are really helpful & friendly. The couple that run the pub are also lovely & are always happy to help. All locals are friendly too & welcoming. Lovely clean pub, well looked after - they have done an amazing job to keep it looking great.

What a fantastic refurbished pub, clean and fresh looking now as it did need it .... top effort and still holding onto a great military (Para) feel to it, real friendly staff & proper pub ... good value as well, if in Aldershot def visit this place especially if forces or ex ... you won't be disappointed! Only one fault I'd say is a tad bright in there at night ... maybe just me ... needs the wattage to come down a bit as squinting when ordering a drink! Lol ... happy, good old friendly pub... I hear the live music there is amazing as well ...

Just had the most amazing Sunday roast at the Traf, portion size huge ( couldn't finish the dinner but left room for sticky toffee pudding and custard) thanks Jade another great meal keep it up. Will be back next week.
