Delicious food, stunning presentation excellent service from Ellis and his colleagues, at an amazing price, thank you.

What an absolute pleasure to have lunch here . Logan who waited on our table was attentive and very eager to please us . Calm , methodical and precise with a warm manner he clearly wanted our experience to be the best . The food was excellent , presented beautifully and the environment warm and welcoming . Hats off to these students who put many other places I’ve eaten in to shame. I would not hesitate to recommend the gallery to others.

Warm welcome on arrival. The 5 course taster menu was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Very good value for money. Service good and attentive. It's hard to believe that they are only learning their trade! Well worth a visit.

What an amazing experience. These students are obviously taught every aspect of hospitality to an exceptionally high standard as confidence shines from them all. From the moment we were welcomed we were looked after impeccably and greeted with smiles. The Valentine meal was super tasty, well presented and delivered with care and attention to detail. A special shout out goes to John, our food waiter and Elliot, the barman who will, no doubt, blossom in their future careers. Can't wait for another visit. Five HUGE stars!!!

Arrived for the Valentine Meal. The food was wonderful and very tasty. The Student looking after us was JOHN, who was very professional, as was ELLIOT the Student who served our drinks. We booked our first meal at The Gallery restaurant for a party of 6 and were blown away with the high standard of service we received. The food was delicious and a sight to behold, with lots of attention to detail. We were served by John who was professional, polite and super attentive. Great well presented food worthy of a top restaurant at bargain prices, all made by the college students under the watch of the experienced chef/tutor. What is not to like!

This was great for a light lunch with a difference , the students are all very attentive and the food was delicious. The organiser is very helpful and manage d to get us a table at short notice, which my friend and I appreciated. Easy parking also.

Went to enjoy a Burns Night seven course meal. And enjoy it we all did. The young students are very keen and it shows in their attention to detail, both with the food presentation and table display. Food was excellent as usual(this is about our sixth meal there) and we will certainly go there again.

We went for the first time today and it certainly won’t be our last. We were surprised by the beautiful quality of the food, the attentive waiters and waitresses and a lovely chat with the MD. The dessert made by the pastry group was excellent. And with our coffee and mini carrot cake but was served. Such a lovely touch. We can’t wait to come back.

Had a wonderful evening last night, the food was to such a high standard we were all blown away that it was prepared and cooked by students. We had 2 lovely young men looking after us .. Daniel and Joe they were both highly professional, they were very personable and attentive and I have no doubt they will both be a great credit to the hospitality business. The whole evening was a reflection on what a great college FCT is.

Have been visiting The Gallery for several years and this is definitely the best Christmas meal we have had there. Just lovely.

This is an extraordinary restaurant run by the students (with staff) of the the 6th Form College. The 4 course Christmas meal plus mulled wine, coffee and homemade roll and chocolates was as delicious, and as well presented, and served as in a top restaurant.

We had a fantastic lunch with friends here. The staff are great, right from the moment you are greeted on arrival, and throughout the meal - we were particularly well looked after by our server Charlie who did a really good job. The food is excellent; high quality presentation and some great twists on some classics. We have already booked another visit.

Amazing! I almost don't want to spoil a local secret. Food all prepared, cooked and served by students to their utmost best, very impressive for students almost straight out of school. The bar staff prepared cocktails to a standard as good as a well known local airport hotel! The overall attention to detail would put many restaurants to shame. The taster menu is excellent. Had lovely meal this evening. This was our first time here and we came because my son is due to start the catering course I September and he wanted to get a feel for what to expect and he says it has confirmed he is excited to start the course. The food was amazing and the students did a fantastic job. The service was very quick and efficient. My daughter of 12 tasted things she would never dream of at home and said her favourite dish was the fish,which surprised us all. We very much look forward to dining here again.

A St Patrick day themed dinner, excellent food, presentation and service. Our server, Abigail, was a delight and very informative and knowledgeable about all of the courses. The young students preparing, cooking and serving are the next generation of master chefs. I cannot praise the experience highly enough.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at the gallery restaurant. Each of the six courses were really enjoyable with great attention to detail. Our server Abigail looked after us very well. She explained each of the dishes and was attentive throughout the evening. We were also able to experience the Mixology skills of the students with a couple of cheeky cocktails. All in all a superb value evening with wonderful service, fantastic food and a great ambience. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The college really is doing a fantastic job with the students.

I treated a friend to a 70th birthday lunch. Was very pleased. Easy to book online. Disabled parking near the entrance a big bonus. Our student was new, yet got us seated, spoke clearly, explained. Another took the drinks order - fully stocked bar. We asked for teas which caused some smiles. Students from reception desk to all functions. Smartly dressed, polite and full of smiles. You can see the kitchens through a screen, which is a nice experience. Food a formal 3 course lunch and it was fabulous. My Madieran friend thought it was some of the best she had tasted. I am very grateful for the birthday banner and the stars they placed on the table. She does not eat out much and for her 70th felt she had been really spoilt here. What a super outing. Well done to all the students. We wish you the best of luck with your courses and training. Highly recommended. We have subsequently heard from friends that we must try the Thursday night as that is just as good and a great experience too.

Once again friends and I enjoyed good food at The Gallery. I had a lovely creamy onion soup, pork cheek and pork belly with black pudding, carrot purée, apple, kale and jus. The dessert was a cake with fresh fruit. My friends had similarly lovely meals and with wine and coffee the price is still amazing. The service is always great. Well done Farnborough College!

The restaurant and tables were beautifully decorated for the themed event. There were clever touches of tartan on the tables. It was a great start with a warm welcome and complimentary drink as we arrived. Every single course was superb, beautifully arranged to tempt you and delivered on its promise. The piper who entertained and piped in the haggis was great. The waiters were attentive and professional - it was a busy evening taking care of a full restaurant and a 7 course menu & they did it all well and with a smile.

My wife and l hadn’t been here for 10 years due to the opening times clashing with work, but as now both retired we are more flexible!! It was my first time in The Gallery Restaurant and I was very impressed. I had a set menu which looked amazing and was very tasty. We could watch our food being prepared on a large screen. Our waiter Harry was very nice and we enjoyed his measured humour. He was in his first year. What a great start to his career 👏. I'm looking forward to my next time. Just returned from The Gallery's Xmas lunch. It cost us £26 each. We didn't expect such a small portion for the main Turkey course. It was Turkey Wellington & was sliced very thinly. In fact, I thought the turkey was sliced egg initially! Very disappointing. Still hungry. We could have gone to a decent pub & had 2 substantial courses for £16 & felt full.

Myself and my mum visited for lunch knowing that it is a training restaurant. We were both blown away with the food. The young lad "Nicholas"who was our waiter was engaging and very sweet. Was so good I am going back at Christmas time.

Well, where can you find such quality at such a price? I am a frequent diner at L’Ortolan in Reading and I can assure you the food at the Gallery Restaurant tonight was as good as the aforementioned……when you realise these young people , ( let’s be honest here, most of them are probably under 19yrs old) it is quite humbling …..they are professional, engaging, very good at what they do and are a credit to themselves. We visited The Gallery Restaurant on St David's Day for dinner. The restaurant was decorated beautifully with daffodils and even the napkins were in the shape of a daffodil - very clever. We didn't know what to expect as it was our first visit there, but were made welcome from start to finish. The food was excellent and we enjoyed every aspect of our 8 course taster menu. We were impressed to find that the restaurant had a bar serving many types of wines and spirits. We would highly recommend the restaurant and will certainly be returning. Excellent evening for the Burns Night dinner. The meal was excellent as was the service and general atmosphere of the restaurant. It was obvious that a lot of thought and preparation had been put in to the function. The menu was superb.

What can I say? We went to lunch with low expectations as it is a training restaurant, and were not disappointed. One of the main complaints was the waiter (Connor) had zero skills. My 7-year-old son could wait table better. He had no confidence, was clumsy and showed no training whatsoever. Worst of all, despite twice saying we wanted a vegetarian option, a chicken pie arrived. We told him, but he did not apologise for his mistake. Although a supervisor and a manager offered to change the dish, we did not bother. His uncertainty made us cringe every time he came near the table. His verbal skills were limited - "Bread?" was the one-word suggestion that we might like some. "Finished?" his question when he cleared the plates. He slopped the drinking water, left cutlery awry and generally should not have been released into the public domain.

Found this little hidden gem after searching on trip advisor - I’m a big believer in the merits of vocational education and after researching what they do at the tech college I was so impressed to read about the restaurant and tasting menus they offer. Each course was presented beautifully and tasted great - particularly the guinea fowl main. Easily comparable to the likes of the aviator for quality for a fraction of the price. Students were all polite and attentive & a credit to their tutors. Love that they have a camera into the kitchen! Would love to return for one of the themed nights.

First time of dining in the gallery restaurant. The food was of a high standard and variety of delicious flavours. Thoroughly recommend for a lunch time treat and will definitely come again.
