Cutting Room is my go to restaurant when I'm in the area. You'll always find delicious food being served. They have many vegetarian options, which makes it even more enjoyable.

Charming townhouse that has been converted into a sharing plates restaurant that prides itself not just on great food but also its sustainable and ethical approach. We had the tasting menu at £39.50 and it was a delicious! The wine menu was was small but seemed to have most things covered. Service was effortless and the decor charming. We'll be back soon.

This is a fairly new restaurant and it does sharing plates, they recommend 3 per person, but 2-3 is plenty. The food was excellent, the miso salmon was exceptional as were the vegetables dishes. I’d highly recommend it

The Cutting Room, Charlotte Street, my choice of venue for a cheeky Friday lunch. The weather mid June still wasn’t warm enough to sit in one of the cute outside seats, so the window seat was the next best thing. On my last visit I went with the only Rose on offer but today it had sold out 🤦🏼‍♀️ so as I felt £33 is too much for a bottle of Sav B, we settled on paying £25 (for the 3rd cheapest white). Food wise, the concept is the trend of recent years, sharing plates. The prawns are a big hit, the braised lamb croquettes not so much. Rocket & Parmesan salad the healthy dish to complement the chunky fries 😋 I spotted 4 staff, more than diners! The gin cocktail of the day looked good although I didn’t get to try. From prior visits the cocktails are amazing. Service was good, just the one guy taking orders & today he didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t want (like before) - maybe he remembered us? It’s a shame to see it so quiet, again, just one other table taken. Will the evening trade keep this little gem afloat? Can’t wait to try the evening bar one time & the outside board says avec live music 😊 #woodesthergoback Yes! 💁🏼‍♀️Super tasty food and today some awesome tunes playing. The vibe was good even though it was quiet, that’s not easy. Check out the ladies loo too, it’s the cutest! Instagram venue blogger @ wood_esther_go_back

We had a lovely dinner - the quality of the food is excellent, the menu choices diverse and the wine delicious. The service was really friendly, I felt more like a guest than a customer. I really loved the ambiance and decorative touches too - right down to the glassware and crockery. I will definitely be back

Went for early dinner as straight off the plane and couldn’t face a raucous pub Friday evening although bangers and mash were calling to me. Loved the idea of British tapas so I stopped in. The place is charming and well set up, achieving cosy without over crowded. Bright blue and white which I liked to. Waitstaff lovely and attentive but not intrusive esp. as I was eating alone. I tried two dishes... the crab and shrimp balls and the exotic meat balls. The first were awesome ... larger than expected but lots of beautiful filling and stayed beautifully hot inside. I ate both!!! Dill caper mayo nice and tangy. Sadly the exotic meatballs were a let down. Two choice on offer - kangaroo and zebra. As an Aussie well familiar with skippy so tried the zebra. They were ok but had no Real taste and mostly came across like over cooked beef mince. No seasoning and came with a rather gluggy over egged mayo. They would have been spectacular sitting in a tomato-based sauce with herbs etc in the actual meat. Poor stripey was not honoured in its death. So great spot just needs a bit more attention on the meat prep. I will Loney come back for more crab balls and the skippy.

Don't normally leave reviews when i eat in restaurants but the food there blew me away. Went there with my wife and kids for mothers day, everything that came to the table was absolutely delicious especially the Lamb Croquettes, i instantly fell in love with the rich flavours that were left on my taste buds, we had to order another portion. There were good vibes, music, all the staff were really friendly. Will defo return and i would really recommend anyone to eat there.

Magnifica selección. Un pequeño pub que se llena mucho. Hay un pequeño jardín en la parte de atrás, pero la atracción principal es la artesanía ale y sidra

Great Double Double and Liqour very nice and tasty would return for another meal. There seems to be some confusion on social media about this place also being a Cafe. I can Confirm this is a Pie and Mash Shop only no other food is served here so presume people must be confusing this place with somewhere else.

It was an absolutely amazing experience, and I have honestly would have given 7 out of 5 if it wasn’t for the end. We were looked after a lovely gentleman called Adrian and he was really nice and professional, he followed us through the whole meal and made sure our experience was great. He did succeed and we also had a couple of more waitress touching our table and there were all absolutely lovely. Since the start we were really exited and the thing of guessing the ingredients in the dish was so much fun… Was also my girlfriend birthday and the champagne on house on the arrival was a really lovely touch. Everything went great, it was a special occasion for other personal reason but I’m not going too deep into it, just was wishing that the evening wound have ended a bit better. We finished the 5 courses of an Amalfi experience meal, and I cannot thank Adrian (the waiter) enough to make this evening so lovely. I come from the south of Italy and I was hoping to end the meal with an espresso. I have been also working on restaurants for the last 20 years across 3 different countries, I indeed work as a manager in an Italian restaurant and I know for sure that until the last drink order of called the coffee machine should not been closed, specially in an Italian restaurant (or experience). But I also know how hard and heavy is working long hours in hospitality is, but what bothers me is not the thing that I could have a coffee after my meal, but the way how the female bartender reacted to my request. I asked Adrian for an espresso and when he asked the bartender if he could have a coffee she responded to him quite loud “of course is closed”. Adrian came to the table and really politely told us that we could not have a coffee so we had a couple of limoncello shot instead. Again what bothers me is only the way how this bartered had reacted to my request, otherwise this would have been a 10 out of 10 dinner. I still recommend to go there as food was lovely and service was great (waitress stuff, bit much from the bar) but if you are a coffee lover after dinner make sure you go there earlier than 9pm. Adrian, thank you for your service, you’re great!!!!

Called in for brunch as it was on the way to St Pancras and the website looked good. The food was nice BUT extremely expensive for what it was. £17 for cold avocado, poached eggs, chickpeas and rocket on toast and sat next to the toilet door. We paid a third less for similar at the Ivy, Tower Bridge where the surroundings were far superior. Plus no green tea!! My husband had 2 eggs and some ham and a very small latte and it was just shy of £40!! My cup was half empty and I wouldn’t return.
