Well what a find! A local family run food business working within The Royal Oak and the food is fresh and delicious.
I had heard about Snaxtons when they started up through social media and really wanted to try it.
Lisa a partner in the business, is the most loveliest friendly lady and checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our food and it was do tasty.
My husband chose the chicken tikka flatbread which looked amazing when it arrived, presentation was lovely, large portion and he thoroughly enjoyed it.
I had the cheeseburger patty, so tasty and the fries were fresh, hot and the tastiest we’ve had for pub food.
Keep up the good work Snaxtons, you’re a dynamic couple and we wish you well with your business through these challenging economic times.
Excellent value for money and such high standards.
This place is my new favourite place to go for breakfast in Westward Ho! The service was excellent, such a lovely couple!! The food quality was top notch! The sausages were from the butchers next door and my Dad especially loved the thick sliced toast from the bakery too! All round brilliant 🤩 we will definitely be back!!
We visited after the refurb and it looks lovely. The food was absolutely amazing!! My husband had the full English and loved it! Said it was the best black pudding he’d ever had. I had the Times Special and it was soooooo nice!! For the children they offer to make up small versions of anything you like. We will be definitely back again - the buttered toast was delicious!!! X x
Just found this place on our drive home… oh my god wonderful, sandwich filling was so tasty and full of flavour, did not taste cheap and cheerful in the slightest! Lovely sausage rolls too ! The chicken and bacon mayo sandwich was to die for, full of flavour. Five stars :)
Live in Holt but never visited this establishment before. Very welcoming, delicious coffee and dog friendly with a dog biscuit for each of our 3 dogs. Will definitely be returning.
Another great night out, with great company and stunning food, we Started off with a welcome glass of fizz, well the others did, I, as usual was on my water... boo hiss.. LOL.. and then the food, the major highlight of the night (as well as spending quality time with friends, I better put that in case they read this and get into trouble)
The Venison Amuse Bouche was just beautiful, I am not a great Venison fan, but this was done to perfection, a short break in proceedings and then the starters, Hot smoked salmon, truffle mayonnaise and buttermilk blini, caviar (mmm yes please) and Yuzu pearls, placed under a glass dome with "fog" that lifted into the air as the dome was pulled upwards, OOooo, that sounds posh, and it was, stunning started, I could have had three of those, but I am not greedy.
The main course was Lamb, now, as most will say, I hate lamb, I have not eaten lamb in over over 40 years, but that last night was just it was tender, pink, cut with easy, the Gelston Lamb was beautiful, with garlic and rosemary sweet potato puree, hen-of-the woods mushrooms, Romanesco cauliflower and Hasselback potatoes, I was not 100% sure, but that first mouthful, was stunning, I trust the guys to serve up a brilliant meal, and I am not likely to have Lamb again, but here I would, no question. And a good plateful as well, all well set out, so it was something to not only savour the tastebuds but the eyes as well. But the stomach enjoyed it more, LOL.
Desert was a Passion Fruit lovers heaven, thee Passionfruit Panna Cotta was so light, and with so much flavour, this was served with a Passionfruit macaron, Passionfruit bubbled, stem ginger, Honeycomb crunch, Passionfruit coulis and and a ginger tuile.
Coffee and chocolates finished the evening off perfectly, as always the guys invite us to their home, and treat us as friends rather than paid customers, and that makes the difference, the little details, like an individual menu placed on your napkin, a full introduction to each course, so you know what you are eating and what goes into the food.
Brilliant.... will be back for visit number four......
It's one of our favourite family restaurant. The best burgers we had + their meat free burgers are absolutely delicious. Kids love coming there and their favourite are haloumi fries. Great place and service. Would highly recommend.

Lovely little find on a walk around Droxford and the River Meon. Located in the village church it offers drinks, cakes and snacks. Tables and chairs outside too if the weather is kind otherwise you can sit inside. Staff very friendly and great prices too.

Tried Fermenti today for the very first time: the white sourdough ... very lovely flavour, texture and crust. will be back to try the rye sourdough. I'm searching for my ultimate sourdough and i consider that this one is 'up there'!

Absolutely amazing experience! The customer service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and truly welcoming. The restaurant is beautifully designed with an authentic East African touch, capturing the cultural essence of Habesha dwellings. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy traditional Ethiopian, Tigrayan and Eritrean cuisine. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the presentation of the food was just as impressive as the taste. If you're looking for a true taste of East Africa with top-notch hospitality, this is the place to be! Highly recommended.

First time experiencing Khaya Kitchen! I walk pass it every Thursday with every intention of ordering but today was the perfect day! The brown strew chicken with rice and peas (regular) was enough for the perfect lunch. The festival was tasty too! I was torn between brown strew chicken and curry goat but all the more reason for me to come back!
Thank you for your lovely service, friendly smiles and delicious food! Definitely recommend ⭐️
