One of the finest small pubs anyone could wish for. The beer is outstanding and kept perfectly. This is an absolute must for people who love a traditional pub with great conversation and superb beer. In the top division of the UK's pubs.

We booked a table for 8 We were seated at the time on our arrival, very good service , some had Sunday roast and others of the menu , the premises benefits from being newly refurbished and the quality of the decoration ( even the toilets ) is superb , the food likewise was very good and as was the service , the pricing was very reasonable considering all of the above overall, we would highly recommend this restaurant, well done !

A wide selection of craft beers and ales. Small but quaint place. Staff are very friendly. Easy to find and plenty of car parking spaces

Set back from the road, one could all too easily miss this lovely establishment. Small pub in a former farm dairy building. Outstandingly warm welcome, and superb beers from the local Woodcote Manor Brewery - Tripple S Blonde is highly recommended, bursting with flavour at only 3.8%. Food is limited to pork pies, but what pork pies! Not to be missed. In the age of large, faceless pub-chain establishments, Alestones shines a beacon of old-school hospitality. Thanks to all for a memorable visit.

Met up with friends and family, who enjoyed several quirky gin and tonics, and guest ales and ciders, the staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. Definitely worth a visit

This really is a hidden gem. It’s a lovely drinking hole which has been thoughtfully kitted out to make it a very comfortable place to spend a couple of hours. Small but lovely range of real ales and gins, together with other usual drinks so everyone’s tastes are catered for. The owners are both friendly and knowledgable and make this a very welcoming place. A few basic snacks, as there is no kitchen, but don’t let that put you off. Highly recommended. Also, entertainment/music on some days.

We'd been for a long walk and decided to stop her for a swift half (or two) before having something to eat at the Targedbigge Court cafe and heading home. What a fabulous little find this is. Alestones is small and cosy with an interesting and changing range of real ales and craft ciders. Ady, who owns this little pub, is very knowledgeable about the different drinks available and makes well-informed recommendations. A proper, traditional little alehouse.

As a truck driver, I use cafes all around the UK and beyond. I have to say that Big Daves is definitely my favourite! The first thing you notice walking in is how spotlessly clean it is. Floor, walls, counter, everything is sparkling. Dave and his wife are a lovely couple who always make you feel welcome. It's always busy with local people eating in or grabbing a takeout, which is always a sign of a good cafe. That said, you never have to wait too long for your food. There is a wider menu, but I've only ever been for the full English breakfast, which is fantastic! Really good quality food. I recommend this cafe highly.
